Vacation rentals in Hickory County

We have stayed in literally dozens of vacation rentals the last 25 years or so, and Trisha's Little Cedar Lodge is one of the best! Beautiful, quiet setting and lovely cabin. It's actually more charming than the pictures, and had everything we needed. We would like to return in the warmer months to enjoy the porch and firepit. Trisha is proactive, responsive and friendly. Really can't say anything bad about our stay. She even left us homemade cinnamon rolls! Note that it is in an area without a plethora of restaurants (we WERE there in the lake off-season), but there are good ones nearby. We enjoyed Pomme de-Ritas and Pittsburg Pub and Grill. Also, Warsaw is about 30 minutes away with several options.

My boyfriend and I loved our Valentine’s Eve getaway at Postcard Cabins. It offered the beauty and tranquility we needed within a price point we could afford. Honestly, the photos don’t do justice to the lovely and thoughtful accommodations. The scenery is gorgeous, too — and everything feels so private! Thank you for having us. We hope to return each season.

this property was awesome. had everything we needed. a nice welcome basket with snacks. host was very responsive and friendly. only down fall was the beds are way harder than I prefer and cell connection and wifi were spotty at times at the property but all in all amazing

This was a great stay for my bachelor party! Great location and Kerry was very kind and helpful. Just what we were looking for.

Paulette was great. Very responsive. Welcomed us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our anniversary. Quiet, peaceful and charming. Loved the fire pit and was provided plenty of wood! 10/10

Linda's place was very comfortable. We liked that there were two separate "living rooms" since we are staying for work, we could spread out a bit but still have the comradery of staying in the same place with a kitchen. Would book this one again if in the area for sure!

We appreciated the response time of the host when the keypad to the house did not work, she was able to get us in the house quickly. We really like the fenced in backyard for our fur babies. Plenty of space, we had two people and two dogs and we were never crowded. It is very close to Lucas Oil Speedway, about a 10 minute drive, and there’s a really nice cafe down the road that had really great food. Only downside is there is no internet (though we were made aware of this) or cable for entertainment when you are in the house. Overall, we would stay here again!

Ru’s place was great! It was a Super cute, clean and comfy stay! Ru was great with information when arriving.
