⭐️ Amazing stay!! ⭐️ Thank you for being so flexible to our requests for early check in. The weather was lovely on our last day and we were approached by the owners to say they were happy for us to check out at 1pm instead of 10 which was really helpful for our party of 14. Great venue for our Hen do - would also be suitable for large family gatherings. Wish we stayed longer to fully explore the grounds and local amenities. Lovely property, beautiful grounds, responsive and friendly hosts. Would absolutely stay again.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in for one of our regular meets. The heated swimming pool was the main reason we chose it. It was also very spacious, clean and in a great location. Will be back soon!

Fantastic accommodation and great facilities. The whole family loved the pool, hot tub and the pizza shack! Beds really comfy. Definitely recommend!

Birdforth Hall Cottages are fantastic with the added bonus of the heated indoor swimming pool and the hot tubs. We rented the Byre and the Mill House for a family reunion and it was just ideal for our large group. Very highly recommended and there are fantastic pubs/restaurants within 10 minutes drive.

Can’t fault it. Everything was perfect! Amazing house and location. Fire was lit for us, and the house was warm throughout our stay. Had everything we needed and was perfect for our family Christmas get together (13+2 dogs). Always a quick response from Ellie and plenty of information provided. Hot tub was great with a wonderful view and starry night. Can’t wait to return in the summer to use the pool!

We had a brilliant time staying at Dawn's house this weekend. We took our toddler and my parents to the railway museum, which the house is right next to, and it was only a short walk into town otherwise. The house was warm, clean and beautifully presented. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in York!

What a wonderful place to stay for Christmas. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. We will most definitely be back. The kids really didn’t want to leave. They felt like they were living like kings and queens for 2 nights <3

Really lovely little terrace house, perfect for three people. Really easy access to city centre, and 25 mins (mostly) scenic gentle walk from train station. Very communicative host. House had everything we needed. Steep stairs, but typical for a terrace house, and not an issue for us.

Naz is a superhost, responsive and very considerate. House is nice and 20 min walk from City center. Rest all things are also very positive.

Very good stay, even when something was needed it was sorted quickly. Good location for pub and easy to get into town or other local areas.

It was a pleasure to stay in ShanShan’s place. It was nicely decorated with tons of little details showing a care for guests. Kids enjoyed their individual bedrooms, which were spacious and comfy. House located in a quiet residential area. Would recommend to anyone, especially families with kids.

We had a lovely stay at this annex. We had pretty much everything we could need. The snacks and wine were a nice touch. The annex was clean and well-presented. It was a bit cold in the annex but there was a heater and an electric blanket in the bed.

A great stay, beautifully decorated including Christmas tree. Well equipped kitchen and very clean and comfortable.

We did a very last minute booking after having a disastrous first night in Leeds in another apartment and Relaxing Retreats were very kind and helpful with our situation. We had the possibility for an early check in which was really appreciated. Walking in and seeing how clean everything was truly took a huge weight off our shoulders. Everything was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, the neighborhood is also very nice and peaceful. We felt right at home. Instructions were very clear. This was our second time staying at this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as delightful as our first visit! The property is a true "home from home," offering comfort, cleanliness, and a welcoming atmosphere. The host continues to maintain a meticulously clean and cozy space, with thoughtful touches like a welcome pack of snacks, milk, water, tea, coffee, and even fresh flowers. The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of York’s center and attractions, and the private parking adds extra convenience.
