Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Herefordshire

We had a great time. Beds were really comfy, showers good, lovely rooms. Andrew gave us all the info we needed in a timely way.

We stayed over the weekend to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday with friends and family, and had a lovely time. The only thing that would have made it better is if we stayed for longer! We bought the cocktail package on Friday night and Laurence provided us each with 4 beautiful cocktails tailored to our requests, along with canapes. Our guests were arriving over the evening and Laurence kept up with making the cocktails for everyone. On Saturday we bought one of the food packages and had beautiful burgers and chips. The food was lovely, and the presentation was stunning. Overall the experience was fantastic. Our welcome basket was a lovely addition as was provided by a local farm shop and even included some cake! The house was beautiful, as were the grounds. Our pups had a great time walking the grounds. We'd love to stay during the summer to experience all of the amenities.

Comfortable house in a very quiet street within walking distance of city centre. Great for our dog as park and country walk nearby. Nice warm house (it was very cold outside when we were there). Everything we needed was provided. Would highly recommend this oroperty.

Wow! One of the best places we have stayed in! Clean, super comfortable, cosy, perfect for our party of 8! The games room was great for the boys, our daughter enjoyed feeding the animals and we were super pleased with a warm house with en suite facilities! Thank you Kathryn for the very generous hamper with goodies for us and our puppy! Your house and surrounding environment were beautiful! A quick trip to book paradise, Hay on Wye, on the way home made our weekend perfect! This house would make a gorgeous Christmas holiday rent as the surrounding pubs were lovely! Would absolutely recommend and hope to return.

We stayed for a few days over New Year’s Eve and couldn’t have asked for a better time. The accommodation is beautiful, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed and the welcome hamper we received was a fantastic touch. An excellent place to stay, with a great host. Would definitely recommend, and will try to come back as soon as possible. Thanks to Rebecca for a great few days.

Fantastic traditional property in Ludlow. This is our third trip and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

I spent a very enjoyable month here and Mark was an exceptionally helpful and friendly host. If you want somewhere to chill and escape the city then this is a clean and tidy place to do so, ‘away from the numbers’.

Helen’s place was perfect for our weekend and she and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. Absolutely beautiful apartment with best possible view of Hereford. And we so appreciated the thoughtful selection of eats and other little touches awaiting us. Hoping to find an excuse to come back! Thanks a million.

We booked a very last-minute spontaneous stay here to have a few days away. My husband, little girl, and I absolutely loved staying here - Nigel was very welcoming (coming out to meet us on the road with a torch to make sure we found the place OK!) and so was everyone we met during our stay. The hot tub is amazing and the apartment was clean and cosy. Views are stunning and lots of places to explore and discover. Would highly recommend and I have no doubt we will be back to stay here again!

We would highly recommend Jim's place, it's warm with cozy comfy beds and had everything we wanted. It offers a quiet relaxing staycation with beautiful grounds and stunning scenery. Should you want to get out and explore, the public footpath walks are quite envigorating. We enjoyed a wonderful walk up the Bromyard downs.Jim's place is dog friendly as are some of the pub's and cafes in town. There are plenty of local places to get out to with your furry friend. We visited the Weir Gardens and Hereford city. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for everything Jim

We had a very memorable relaxing stay in this lovely warm and well kitted out barn. the venue was stunning and the location excellent. The place was kitted out weigh very tasteful and good quality furnishings and bedding and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Really enjoyed our stay at the barn. It’s a lovely place, clean and very quiet. Our kids loved being on the farm and saying hi to the sheep and chickens.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful place with picturesque surroundings. Being surrounded by the Welsh countryside was perfect and the place itself was charming, clean and accommodating. Elizabeth was warm and welcoming; ensuring we had everything we needed and was very responsive. We had a lovely stay and would definitely visit again.

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in, in a long time. Such a lovely space, great location (about 10 minute walk to the castle area and cute cobble streets etc) and Jenny had really thought of all the little things that make a stay memorable. Nescafé coffee machine and milk frother being one of them! Hosts communicated quickly and couldn’t be more helpful. Would love to stay again, the flat was a little zen retreat Thank you!

Lovely stylish apartment Everything was spotless, it was a home from home, with lovely extra touches of books, games and ornaments Really comfortable bed, big fluffy towels. Going that extra mile with fresh local produce waiting for you on arrival was a perfect touch. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it and stay again.

A perfect location in the centre of town and a well appointed, comfortable apartment from which to explore the many great walks and places to eat and drink that Ludlow has to offer. We'll be back!

Nicky and Kevin were immensely helpful hosts. We had not been to the New Forest area before and it was wonderful to have suggestions in advance. During our stay, we had helpful tips about local walks too. This was a fabulous location to visit and the home was incredibly cosy, easy and well-equipped. The furnishings were homely with so many plentiful choices. We had amazing nights of sleep in the king size bed and the views were lovely as promised even in wet November. There were local Christmas events that warmed our hearts including the lit village Christmas tree view from our rear windows. Despite being in a road, we were not bothered by noise as it is a quiet location. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night break.

Absolutely 5 stars. Beautiful, clean and cosy apartment. Veronika is the most lovely host. I will recommending to all friends and family and will be booking to stay again soon!
