Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hennepin County

We stayed just two nights, but the place was cozy. I loved the memory lane experience of items that decorated the place. This is a quiet hideaway that makes it possible to unplug and just decompress from life. The lake was frozen and beautiful all at the same time.

Pete accepted our booking last minute and had us in within an hour of our last booking cancelling last minute. Pete was very helpful and saved our trip! The house is even nicer than what the pictures show. Very private and peaceful. Will definitely book again on our next trip here

My family of seven - my parents, my husband and I, and our three sons 22, 17 and 16 - stayed here for five days. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty of hot water for all of us. I want to come back to Minneapolis just to stay here!

Big place, only used one of the three beds, and one of the two family rooms! Super fairly priced for how spacious the place was!

Bruck is a great host, he's super kind and very friendly. If I will be visiting Minneapolis, I will surely be staying at Brucks place again. The area we rented is the basement but the decorations and the stylish polish of the apartment is top notch. I learned a thing or two from Bruck and indeed, he surely has an A+ in interior decoration. On one of the nights (winter 2025), Minneapolis temperature dropped below 15 but Bruck got everything handled. He provided extra heating for us to stay warm and insulated every entry point of cold air. During our stay, we had our 14-month-old son with us and he indeed felt at home. This place is a great recommendation.

We had an amazing stay! I’ll keep it brief, for those whole like short, but concise reviews. For those who are looking for a good stay for with group of people near the metro area, I recommend this place. Easy entry with the door code, nice kitchen upon entry, upstairs living room is very cozy with the fire place as a nice touch. All the rooms are very comfortable as well. We had an amazing stay experience and will definitely book with again.

This place is fabulous! We felt right at home. It is beautifully decorated & has a nicely equipped kitchen, with coffee, tea, and some snacks. Abel was responsive and very accommodating. I would recommend this place highly. I would definitely stay there again.

I’ve traveled a lot of the world and this might be my favorite Airbnb yet honestly! Incredibly cozy, so easy to check in and check out like a hotel, fireplace was so lovely while it snowed. Kid friendly, beautiful neighborhood, quiet, full coffee bar was amazing! And after a long weekend of working going in the sauna was so cool! I hope to stay here again next year!

Stayed here for 2 weeks with my boyfriend while he was visiting MN and It perfectly accommodated us. The apartment is very clean and spacious, with a nice little kitchen and giant comfy bed. Perfect for a long stay or even just for a weekend. There was also convenience store located around the block that we frequented, as well a bus stop that took us right down town to other bus/train connections.

Patricks place is great for a few people to stay in one place. it was easy to find in a really quiet neighborhood. Patrick was also flexible with check in and out and helping us get settled in

Peter’s place was a great location for a winter getaway to Minneapolis. We visited with our 2 and 5 year old and there was plenty of space for us all to warm up and relax after a long day exploring. There are a ton of great restaurants within a very short walk, along with the art institute and children’s museum which are great. Beyond that, we got around via bus and train. There is a bus stop right out the front door for the frequent line 18 bus - which connects to tons of other lines downtown. Overall, the unit was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay.

From the very moment we booked our stay, we knew it was going to be a wonderful place to stay the night. From the immaculate cleanliness to the responsiveness that our host showed, we couldn't recommend this place more to others that will be traveling through the area.

The space was very quiet and made for a relaxing weekend. Kevin was quick to respond to questions and did a great job removing the snow. We loved the quiet, country setting. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Minnesota.

Really nice place. Roomy and clean. Walkable to beach. Jeckll island is a laid back place. Great if you want to slow down

It was great.There are the fake fireplace to warm up the rooms and look beautiful. The kitchen is small but a nice stove and dish washer. There is a washing machine and dryer for the clothes. There is a nice bathroom with a big walk-in shower. The best part we could have our dog come with us.
