Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Helsinge

The house is wonderfully practical, spacious and real, right to walk to and feel comfortable in. We were there the New Year, so not many neighbors at home, which gave us the peace we sought. Jens Jacob was great at providing guidance and responded quickly to our messages. All in all, a lovely positive experience.

We had a lovely time in the house over Christmas. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The house is a bit old but everything was clean and comfortable. The house is very spacious and warm, even in winter. It was the perfect base for us to visit family and friends. Would definitely rent again.

We stayed at Mette’s summer house for our family Xmas vacation and we enjoyed the place a lot. We felt right at home and Mette even prepared some gifts for us! We were not aware of the hot water situation in summer houses in Denmark, but Mette was very responsive and supportive during the whole stay, trying to do her best to solve any issue. One bedroom next to the living room was very big, the bathroom and the two sleeping rooms next to it are not very spacey, but we can imagine that in the summer when people can spend time in the big yard, it will not be a big problem. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and appreciated a lot how Mette is treating her guests!

It was a really nice experience to be at Joel's cottage. We especially benefited from the wilderness bath and the spacious surroundings. The cottage is really cozy decor and there are many small details about the house, which made the experience really cozy island.

Great and spacious flat in heart of Copenhagen. We were travelling with a baby and the extra space and stocked kitchen were very helpful. Great location! There are restaurants in the square so you can hear background noise but was very quiet once windows closed! Overall, a great stay!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was our second stay with Gert and we could not have been happier! The small basement apartment is clean, cozy and has everything you need. The parking lot right by the house is a huge plus. Gert is a wonderful host – he is incredibly thoughtful and makes sure both we and our dog, Niko, feel welcome. We even got beer upon arrival, and Niko got our own blanket, towel and treat! The area is quiet and safe, with a pizza restaurant and gas station close by. We highly recommend the place and would love to come back! Thanks again, Gert!

The stay at Tao's and his family went very well. The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. The neighborhood is nice, 20 minutes walk to the city center or 5/10min by bus. The guidelines for accessing the home are very clear. The apartment is the one in which Tao and his family live year-round but we are notified. We didn't miss anything and Tao was very responsive! Jakob's place was a delightful: full of centuries-old charm and character, blended with modern amenities which created a stylish and comfortable space. The location is perfect for exploring the city. We loved being surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and easy access to the metro. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well-equipped. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a unique and convenient place to stay.

Staying at Astrid’s place in Sweden was exactly what we needed to escape the New York New Year’s chaos. Just a minute from the beach, it was quiet and peaceful—a perfect spot to recharge for the two of us and our dog. The location was brilliant for exploring too. Malmö was an easy train ride away in less than half an hour, and even Copenhagen was only about an hour. It was such a great balance between having some downtime and still being able to visit two amazing cities. It couldn’t have been a better way to start the year—a calm, convenient getaway that felt like a total reset for all of us!

Hans has been a great host and his apartment was perfect. It is large, bright and very well set-up. We had all we needed and the neighbourhood is lively and fun. One thing to be aware of is that the apartment is on the fifth floor with no lift, but this was clear to us and not an issue, but important to consider for people with mobility issues. The apartment is very well equiped and comfortable. The internet was fast and reliable, and while the nights can be lively in the area, the bedroom overlooks the inside courtyard and given the top level of the apartment noise was not a problem. A great feature is the roof-top terrace although in practice everyone ends up congregating on the streets and around the lake. It is is very well positioned and within 5-10 min of Norreport station which is is a 30 min ride direct to the airport. Walking into town takes about 15-20 min. I would not choose to stay in another location in Copenhagen.

We had a super lovely stay at Caroline and Sane's apartment. The apartment is very cozy and charming. Lots of old nice details and nicely renovated. It's super close to Ørstedparken, so we could quickly walk there with our little daughter. Nørreport St. is close by and bus stop 1 min from the apartment. It was cozy to sleep in the small "den" (bedroom), which is on the courtyard side. The apartment is on the ground floor, so you can really sit and look at the street and enjoy the Copenhagen "atmosphere". There are good blinds to draw if you don't want this. The wood-burning stove made it all extra cozy, and when we arrived at check-in, Caroline had lit it for us and put 4 beers in the fridge. Throughout, Caroline responded quickly, was very nice as well as accommodating.

This is a beautiful villa that comes with everything you could possibly need to host a small family. We immediately felt quite cozy in the space as the decorations were present, but not overstated. everything was very easy to find, the beds were made, and we even received a little gift on arrival! The surrounding neighborhood is incredibly safe as well. 10/10.

We stayed with Ingvar for four nights with four adults and a small child. Everything was perfect, the little girl ran around on the trampoline and in the grass while we adults, had a coffee, there was also a high chair for her. The house was great, big and good. All communication was very nice and check in was smooth. Would love to come back

We did beautiful bicycle tours. Small hikes in the nature reserve. Trips to Malmö and Landskrona. We especially enjoyed the large beautifully maintained garden. We were able to relax here. A small drawback is the basic noise of the nearby highway, but after some time you got used to it. Overall, we enjoyed the wooden villa very much

Fantastic accommodation where we spent a lovely family weekend. The house is both neat and well planned with the magical view present all the time through the big windows. Incredibly well equipped in all areas. Richard has been very nice & available and all information clear and good. We'd love to go back!

Great, huge house, extremely clean. With a personal touch, as it was also obviously inhabited, and is not such an impersonal cottage. The children could play outside at any time. Any time again :-)

A wonderful large beach house with style - our multigenerational family loved this home. Access to the beach right across the street was wonderful and Henning was a gracious and very accessible to answer and address all our questions. This was a great beach house just a short train ride out of Copenhagen!
