100%would recommend this place to absolutely anyone. - great location in Kandy: on a hill, so close to some really nice views and very central so walkable into the city - great amenities: washing machine, hot water, clean kitchen and clean bathroom, microwave - spacious - free WiFi (but it's a bit slow so I wouldn't rely on this) - nicely decorated and comfortable house - really responsive, communicative and friendly host - will give local recommendations and even cooked for us for a little extra money !!

Absolutely loved our stay here in Kandy. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else in Kandy. The house was clean and welcoming. Muditha was an excellent host! He was flexible with our check in and gave us local recommendations of bike hire etc. He also dropped us off at the train station and made sure we were looked after. The hospitality was amazing- loved our stay!

This was my second stay at this wonderful Airbnb in Heerasgala, Kandy, and it was just as great as the first. The property remains spotless and cozy, offering the perfect mix of privacy and comfort. The host and caretaker were, as always, welcoming and helpful, making me feel at home. Although the hot water wasn’t available during this visit, the host assured me it would be taken care of soon. All other amenities were in perfect condition, exactly as described. The location is ideal—close to Kandy city yet peaceful and serene, perfect for morning walks. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient stay in Kandy!

Gayantha is a very helpful host who guided us to his house. It might be a bit difficult to locate, but locals as well as the host was extremely helpful with directions. The location is away from the city centre. The house is very neat and tidy with all essentials provided and fully furnished drawing/dining & kitchen.

This is a peaceful retreat in Digana, particularly if you want to play golf (as my husband did). It's about 45 mins away from Kandy but makes a relaxing spot. There were other activities on offer at the golf club (like kayaking on the lake etc). We had mis-read the listing and thought there was a pool but the pool is paid for separately at the club. Jon's staff were very sweet and cooked some good breakfasts and dinners for us, and he was super responsive on our various questions.

Simon’s please is at a very good location, I enjoy my stay at Simon’s very much! The location is around 10-15min tuktuk to the town, very convenient, if you’d like to stay in, you can also enjoy the amazing view from the balcony with bird singing and breeze, very peaceful! I love that house very much and I will definitely come back next time!

Our stay at Cobalt Villa was wonderful. The house itself is beautiful - architectural design, spacious living area and rooms, tasteful furnishings and serene outlook in the middle of nature, every view from the house is something special, beautiful trees and monkeys playing. It’s really something special. There is a full time host (Aruj) and chef (Charles) who serve beautiful breakfasts and also assisted us by cooking a wonderful Sri Lankan dinner (we just had to bring the groceries), and Aruj was also incredibly helpful with arranging laundry and also seeking medical assistance for one of us during the stay. It’s not ‘self catering’ it is a hosted villa. The town is about 15 minutes drive away for supplies, everything you need is there. Was a highlight of our trip.

Our stay at Somaland was an incredible experience! We were treated like royalty yet felt completely relaxed and like at home. The colonial mansion is very beautiful. Impeccably preserved and kept, luxurious and comfortable, it’s huge and full of exquisite furnishings. Such a rare opportunity to be able to stay in such a magnificent residence with such history, surrounded by peaceful gardens and lush landscape. Our trip was only enhanced by the divine attention and service of Nilani and Gamage. They welcomed us into the home and looked after us like special family members. So thoughtful and kind and fun. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an extraordinary and wonderful experience. Pieter the host was incredibly helpful and attentive with many extra tips along the way. Amazing place! A running tea plantation from the 1900s, located 1hr away from Kandy. Great base to explore the tea region.

Our family stay at Dinithi's place was exceptional. It's tranquil location and immaculate maintenance made it an ideal escape. The place was beautiful! Had everything we needed for the whole month stay. It was very clean and tidy and was exactly like in pictures shown in Airbnb. The location was perfect and convenient to all shops/Kandy town and in a well secured area. The host Dinithi was amazing! Their family was so helpful and kind, felt like we stay with our own family. They were definitely the highlight to our already outstanding stay!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

Very beautiful place with a great view to the mountains. The lady was super friendly ordering tuktuk for us and helping if we had any problems. Her daughters were also helpful and nice. We were served really good breakfast every morning with fresh fruit juice, coffee, toast etc.

Great place to have fun with family and friends… the best part is they had the bluetooth speaker with vocal mic!

Surangi's place is a wonderful spacious independent accomodation which is easy to find. It is on the first floor with personal entrance. there is a great deal of privacy, coziness and comfort. it is a remarkable place if you are travelling with your family. comes with all necessary amenities. Surangi is an excellent host. always cooperative and took great care during the stay. go for it.

the location is superb in terms of views, tranquility and away from traffic and commotions. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the desired amenities as well. There was a spare room available which was used by the driver. The kitchen had most of the amenities but not much of stock in terms of food grains or eggs which you have to have beforehand. Kandy town is 14 km away. Otherwise it was a pleasant and refreshing stay. wish we had more days to spend here. Also the main bedroom has a breathtaking view. In short loved it. Had some trouble finding the place initially as the address given by Airbnb and that by the host separately did not match.

5 minutes from Kandy city center you can enjoy a quiet place and a beautiful garden. The hosts are very welcoming and offered us small gifts. Perfect.

We chose this place because it is remote, rustic and right on the Pekoe trail, not for a luxurious experience. With these expectations we were very happy with our stay. The surrounding is beautiful with birds, nice scenery and fireflies in the evening. We had two friendly dogs hanging around and they kept marauding creatures away from the cabin during the night. The cabin is not airtight so some mosquitoes, fireflies and a gecko shared the room. Having tea, dinner and breakfast delivered really simplified logistics and were tasty. Keep your expectations in check and enjoy this delightful place.
