Brandon’s place was perfect for a winter getaway for our family of four and two dogs. Beautiful home, peaceful surroundings. Love the hot tub & wood-burning fireplace. This home had everything we needed. Hosts were super responsive and shared lots of recommendations.

Goose Lake Chalet was the perfect place for us! We wanted to find somewhere to unwind and connect with friends. We found it. We have been to multiple airbnb's in the past, but i must say that this place stood out. The Chalet is stocked with everything you need. Spotless upon arrival. Everything is well organized, and even labeled to make things easy. We would definitely come back.

Lovely little cabin on the lake. We used the hot tub during our winter visit and that was delightful. Great communication with host and worth the money!

What a wonderful place! My Bookclub rented Wendy’s beautiful property for a long weekend of reading, relaxing, and hanging out and it was a wonderful space. Great to gather together to cook, play games, or just chat. It also has lovely views of the lake and a fantastic hot tub. The cabin was honestly even more beautiful than the pictures and very clean. Wendy was responsive to any questions we had. We all hope to come back in the future!

Bruce was an excellent host! We absolutely loved our stay. It was great to have everything you could ever need to make a meal readily available. The beds were comfy and movie nights/game nights were awesome there.

Had a great stay at Jim’s place! Only thing I’ll say is don’t trust the weather forecast in winter if you don’t have 4WD or AWD as it’s at the bottom of a hill and we got stuck. But, the locals at the Fernwood Bar at the top of the hill were able to get us out real quick.

The perfect, private getaway while not being far from town. I’ve been coming to Siren every year for nearly 30 years to visit family, but have never experienced it like this before! You’re only minutes away from all necessities, but just far away from it all. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need or think of for adults and little ones too. There was plenty of room for everyone, including a few extras who came to hang out and celebrate the holidays with us during the day, and the Christmas decor was the perfect touch as well. I can only imagine staying here during the warmer months with all of the outdoor activities you can do right on the lake, steps from the backdoor. Will definitely be looking into staying here again for our next visit!

This is a beautiful cabin in a serene setting. The pictures do not convey how lovely this place truly is. Tastefully decorated, and all the cooking amenities needed to create grommet meals. Beyond 5 Stars!

We love the Cable Cabin. This was our second stay here. We were in town for a cross country ski race. Location was perfect as we could walk to The Rivers Eatery, book shop, Velo Cafe and grocery store. At last stay we walked to the local ice skating rink. Love lounging in the warm living room watching the snow fall on the trees. Enjoyed playing Galaga! Appreciate the yoga mats and foam roller. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Was also nice to do a load of laundry. Ben was a great host. I highly recommend the Cable Cabin.

We loved our long weekend at this cabin! Though it was an extreme cold snap, we ventured out for short walks on the peninsula, and mostly stayed cozy inside with a fire in the wood stove all day long. No issues at all with heat or hot water in the severely cold weather. Eric was so helpful when my car wouldn't start at check-out time, accommodated my delayed departure, and talked me through using his car battery charger. This made sure our great weekend ended on a high note!

My wife and I stayed at Cabin #2 for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The cabin was perfect in every way, the location was more beautiful than I expected, and Scott went above and beyond in his accommodations and communications. We would definitely go back, and we are very grateful!

This was a wonderful and cozy getaway during the coldest cold snap of the season! Got down to -19° F outside but thanks to the wood burning stove, we were able to get the cabin as warm as 100° F...probably overkill on our part, but let that speak as a testament to the insulation, lol. Anyways, great stay, exactly as described. So quiet, beautiful starry skies, and surprisingly comfortable beds. We’d love to come back and explore more of the trails when weather isn’t sub-zero!

This is our second winter taking a getaway to the Hygge House. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience and the cabin itself, once again! It’s a beautiful, cozy cabin that is super close to the Birkie trailhead. Everything is just as described, and the hosts are responsive and helpful.

A cozy cabin for a winter getaway. The surroundings were quiet due to the cold weather, but that made for a super peaceful retreat. Close enough to town to drive over for a meal or a cafe stop. We enjoyed being able to bring our dog to hangout with us. The fireplace is the best part! It would be great to visit again in summer to use the kayaks, or relax on the covered porch in the sun.

We always feel so incredibly fortunate to get to stay at Brandi’s cabin on the flowage. It is a peace we look forward to enjoying a few times a year. The blue jays filled the lines and the swans kept in search of open water. It was perfection! Peaceful even amidst the hurry of the holidays. Cannot wait to return ♥️🌲

Beautiful home, great location. A few personal touches we really enjoyed were the smores fixings Tom provided, the fan in one of the bedrooms, and all of the games provided.

John’s property was perfect for my family reunion during Christmas 2024. The home was built and designed extremely well. The home had beautiful furnishings and lighting. Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. The rooms were cozy and all the beds were comfortable …. Some were soft and some were a little firmer which gave everyone the opportunity to find the right bed for them. The kitchen was fantastic with a huge refrigerator and all necessary cooking utensils. The only small issue we had was that the home’s starlink internet went out because of a tripped electrical outlet… which meant no WiFi for one of the days. With that said, they fixed it early the next day. Overall it was a fantastic time and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a great time!

We were very comfortable for 2 nights. I loved that there was a heater and fan for each bedroom for maximum comfort. Mattresses are in great shape. It is small and cozy, but perfect for a family of 4.

My family had a lovely experience at Kyle and Lois's cabin. It was cozy and we cross country skied right from the door, but it was also a very short drive into town, which was really convenient. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we would highly recommend!

stayed at Brendans cozy house for a few days and it was great. It was so much better then a hotel room. He was vary helpfull and accommodateing.

Everything about Jenna’s home and hosting were fantastic! We loved the location with beautiful trails to walk and ski to Cable for visits to the Rivers Eatery pizza, Tilly’s Pies, and amazing distillery. Loved the sauna haus so much! Loved the heated floors in the main floor bedroom as well as the 3 tidy, bright bedrooms upstairs and the cute, cozy bunkhouse a few steps from the home and sauna. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

This place was absolutely beautiful!!! It was so clean and cozy! Had gorgeous views and the house itself was well decorated with lots of tiny little touches that made me feel like I was at home. It made me feel like Laura and Jason designed this home for me!

Traveled here for a quiet getaway to ring in the New Year with my dog, Ash, and we had a wonderful time! It was such a treat to have miles of well marked beautiful (and fairly private) trails steps from the front door. We took several long walks together and never encountered another person. The sights of the Marengo River on the Lincoln Community trails were breathtaking. The home itself was also private, quiet, and clearly well looked after. We appreciated the opportunity for a peaceful getaway at the Marengo River Cabin!
