Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Hayden Island

My wife and I stayed here for about a month while we had renovations done at our place. The place suited two people and one dog perfectly and Selah was great to work with!

The Art House perfectly met our needs. From the cozy fireplace to the comfy beds, we felt right at home on this mother-daughter time away. Leah was very responsive and provided a clear balance of privacy and friendliness -- respecting our time alone but inviting us to stop by to say hello should we choose :) We're looking forward to returning with the rest of the family.

Well laid out, lovely space. Room for lots of people. Lovely kitchen. Easy access to downtown (walking distance). Good outdoor space for kids to play. I definitely recommend this place. You can't beat it for the price.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 month stay. Beautiful place and very comfortable. We rented the basement unit with our 50 lb dog and cat. I loved how dark the bedroom was, as a nightshifter, I was able to sleep well! Lots of dog walkers in the area. Great restaurants nearby, and we will miss the local dog groomer! We were provided with everything that we needed and definitely recommend!

Was the perfect place for us in Tigard- close to all the needed stores and quick access to the freeway. Would recommend!

I had an amazing stay at this place! I was impressed by how clean and cozy everything was. The host was incredibly communicative and accommodating, always available to help with any questions or requests. The property actually looked even better in person than the pictures showed, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay!

This is a beautiful artsy home and Eugenia is an amazing host. Lots of thoughtful touches and amenities, comfortable bedding and furniture, and a beautiful garden. So nice to stay in an Airbnb with such heart and soul :) great place to stay when visiting Portland. Thank you for hosting

Nice cozy home in a quiet neighborhood.

Mindee was very responsive, friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. Her space was cute, comfortable and had everything I needed. I especially appreciated her flexibility on checking in and out. I would definitely stay here again!

Mary’s place was so fun. The mini horse walking around, the full size horses were friendly, the pool in the dining area, the peaceful garden area… it was idyllic for me and my child. We were able to keep my dog in the outdoor kennel/run while we were away during the day, too, which was great. My kid fed carrots to the horses and wandered around finding the ducks and chickens, barn cats, and dogs. My dog is pretty chill and has been around horses, and she also had the best time meeting the animals and running and running. The pool is a whole refreshing experience. Mary is very welcoming and laid back, inviting us to explore and meet all the animals, and also gave us our space. This would also be a fabulous place to retreat with a few good books (the backyard and sitting hammock were my fave spots) or if necessary, work for a few days, which I will keep in mind for myself!

The apartment was nice and cozy I felt like I was at home everything was close by a lot of amazing places to go eat and a lot of good places to go sightseeing I 100% recommend it and would definitely stay again if I’m ever in town

Amanda and James have a beautiful home. We loved so many things about it and it worked well for our family. Kitchen is well stocked, neighborhood is very walkable and there is a great nearby park my kids loved to walk to.

Julie was a generous host. It was a peaceful place for my family to stay and easy for our local family to come for meals and visit. Every morning we had coffee on the large private deck. We sat on the deck some evenings and enjoyed the fresh air and complete lack of mosquitoes. The two full bathrooms for the five of us were essential. We booked this house to have a great place to stay-in and have local family over but it was also close to many things in Portland. The zoo and the science museum were two of them. Julie was responsive to requests and just a very kind person.

Excellent host and beautiful home. Especially the back outside area. Only issue was the Sonos speakers be able to connect for music. Great recommendations and directions to walk about.

This place was amazing!! They were so kind and accommodating to my dog! They had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and had fun things to do while we were there! The jacuzzi and sauna were amazing also! Would recommend to anyone and would absolutely go back!

You guys, if you’re sitting on the fence about whether to rent this place or not, this is your review/push to tell you to take the leap and book this Airbnb!! Amanda and hubby were so warm and welcoming and helpful I can’t say enough wonderful things about them. Also their adorable co host in his cute catio outside Smoke the kitty! This rental is very modern up to date clean and has some cool views! You’re close enough to walk to Mississippi street and get a real experience of this wonderful city. Thank you 🙏 our super hosts we will be back soon! You’re staying in the back of their property which I personally loved, I felt SAFE here, I had my questions answered quickly and help was available. I got to watch tv while in the hot tub it was so great this place carries all of the best vibes.

Julie and the property were top notch! Julie was very considerate, kind, and helpful. She asked me to contact her right away if there was anything at all I needed or if I had any questions. Everything was extremely clean, peaceful, and welcoming. I had complete peace and quiet in a beautiful rural setting for a lovely vacation. I plan to visit again.

Had a great week staying at Stephanie’s place. Tons of space and my dog loved the fenced in yard. Stephanie was super responsive and all of my needs were met!

This was a wonderful nightly retreat after long days at St Vincent with a hospitalized loved one. Cute & cozy with a definite PNW charm, I felt immediately at home here. Kate and William were helpful, flexible, and supportive which made a stressful time so much easier to cope with. The neighborhood is quiet, with quick easy access to St Vincent hospital, groceries, and dining options. Excellent value, and I would return here again without hesitation.

Diane's airbnb is conveniently located for us to visit our kids and grandkids, and also anyone who has students at Reed College. We love the feel of the neighborhood, and walking around at night is beautiful around Christmas time with lights on houses. Also, I should add, the bed was very very comfortable. Dianne and Michael made us feel welcome!

We really enjoyed our stay. The garden apartment was clean and cozy and the access to the private yard was very nice. Another plus, the host is child and pet friendly. The neighborhood is close (short walk) to Trader Joes, coffee shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend!
