Emmanuelle was very communicative before we arrived and during our stay. The yard and view of the river were very nice and the stroll to the bi-weekly market and restaurants were very easy. Overall, Le Bugue is a great jumping off point for the French countryside of the Perigord, but many storefronts of the village appeared vacant.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the host, who took the time to show me around. The apartment is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The location is ideal, close to shops and public transport, which makes it easy to get around. The bedding is comfortable and I slept very well. The kitchen is fully equipped, which allowed me to prepare a few meals without any worries. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I won't hesitate to come back on my next visit!

Beautiful, comfortable apartment and surroundings. The hosts’ design background was evident in bringing together old and new. We were sad that we weren’t able to enjoy the restaurant but the grounds were lovely. Private patio was a bonus and every day we enjoyed the views over the river. Would highly recommend.

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

An ideal little cottage for exploring the Dordogne, private with it's own driveway secluded from the main house. It had everything we needed with some thoughtful touches. We will definitely recommend it.

Laurence was the perfect host. She could not do enough for us before and during her stay. She was warm, friendly, and welcoming. We spent a week with 3 generations in one house, our parents, us, and our young children. The house is perfect for multi generational living and has many thoughtful touches. The house is beautiful, and in a perfect peaceful setting. We spent some days by the pool enjoying the beautiful views, and other days going to the local sights - where Laurence’s recommendations for places to eat were always fantastic!! Very welcoming and accommodating, Françoise offers comfortable and well-appointed accommodation. The floor will be reserved primarily for children because it is an attic. The cottage for children is a plus! Stay for 4 adults + 3 small children.

Gite in a beautiful peaceful Saladin house. Very pleasant setting with rabbits to admire cool in the garden. The interior of the cottage is as described. The rooms are spacious and cool, which is nice in summer. Thank you very much Mark for your hospitality, your sightseeing tips and the bottle of rosé.

The place is beautiful! Even more than the pictures show. The pool was such a hit - specially on those 38* days. The grounds of the property are very well maintained. Delphine was very responsive and went out of her way to help me when I lost my wallet. Thank you for letting us use your place, it sure is a memory the kids won’t forget about :-)
