Ideal location, spotless house and really convenient for the beach (1 min walk) and weekend market. Terrace was lovely and there was boogie boards to use downstairs. Really would recommend

Excellent location in a really tidy and well appointed apartment. Great to be on the second level above the busy road. The through breeze was excellent to help reduce the heat and the pool made it even better.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here. Glenys was very friendly and accomodating. I really appreciated that my niece in a wheelchair could get around the place. Loved the double shower too. Will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here for 6 days, what a lovely place. Very quiet, like you were in a private forest. Ice birds, ducks, sparrows, everything came by. In the evening a bright starry sky, we could have stayed for about a week. Gordon was there when you needed him, otherwise ‘he left you be’. Wonderful bed, and everything else in the house is what you wish for. Went away with regret.

Perfectly positioned on the beautiful beach and only a few minutes walk from the town, with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. There were seven of us across three generations and we had a fabulous time. The hosts were friendly and flexible. Highly recommended.

We loved Vernon's place. Comfortable and well equipped. The fridge was full of goodies and much appreciated after a long drive. All the worktop space in the bathroom was great, plenty of room for sponge bags and toiletries. The beach was close by and we found some lovely shells. Yes the drive is steep but we managed to reverse up it in a small hatchback. Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Last minute stay. Host was able to accommodate us without no hassles. Arrived late to a lovely, clean accommodation. Felt right at home!

Kids had great fun, awesome for outdoor activities with a short distance to the best beach. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood

Lovely quiet, relaxing location. comfortable beds and lounge suite. recliners a nice touch light and airey kitchen/lounge area. Everything you need for an extended stay. we stayed 3 nights - would have stayed longer but it was a last minute booking over Christmas. We'll be back

Loved our stay at Tanya's Bach. Felt right at home. There were 2 couples and 2 singles and the place felt very spacious with loads of different areas to relax. The pool was great for the hear of the day and the spa was great for the evening when the temperature dropped! Would stay again

We enjoyed our Stay at James. Overall the place was comfortable with all the bits and bobs you need. Loved having a compost and good recycling system. Lovely little garden space and huge deck, great little barbeque. Walk to the beach is a bit long - unless we just couldn't find an access point closer, so was sad not be to able to just park up the car for a little bit. Shower is a low pressure and beds were not that comfy but temp in house was super nice, lovely breeze and great view. Thanks for having us.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and spacious home over the long weekend. With six bedrooms and three bathrooms spread across 2.5 floors, it was perfect for our group of three families. The house was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals, and the deck was ideal for a summer BBQ. Its location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Whangamatā Beach and the Whenuakura Donut Island kayak tours, and only a five-minute drive to the town center. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway!
