Vacation rentals with breakfast in Hastings District

Jo and Peter welcomed us with true smiles and warmth. They are a lovely couple with a beautiful homely home. Our bed was extremely comfy and having tea/coffee in the room was a bonus. The shower was clean and had great pressure. Jo makes her own bread 🍞 so I had a delicious piece of toast and an enjoyable chat with Peter over breakfast. We were lucky to be able to park just around the corner and their home is a stones throw from 4 pubs, all with free 🎶 🎵 music. Our favourite, the Jenny Lind is at the end of their rode.🤩👯‍♀️👯‍♀️👯‍♀️

Simply a wonderful home with absolutely everything you might need. Truthfully it was even better than the photos, tastefully decorated, with lots of nice little touches like the record player with really good vinyl selection, lots of candles and to our sheer surprise also breakfast items. We travelled with a dog so the garden at the back was brilliant, a sturdy baby gate for the stairs was a great idea too. Clutter-free home meant that the pup could roam free downstairs and throws to cover the furniture were provided. we travelled in the winter and the house was warm and cosy, amazingly close to Dunorlan Park for a lovely walk. There's a corner shop nearby and the train station is either a 25min walk or £7 taxi ride. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home Jen, all the best.

The house suited us well, and we enjoyed a good week.

This was the perfect place for our NYE trip with friends. We were 3 couples and a dog and it accommodated us perfectly. For us the open plan kitchen, dinning area and lounge were what made it. Perfect for hanging out, cooking, and chatting. We enjoyed lots of muddy walks, including a nice trail to the pub in Clayhill, which we also loved. It was a proper traditional, old school pub. Would definitely love to come back to stay in Boxwood again. Thank you, Tim.

We love this place, beautiful, tranquil spot, seconds to the beautiful Beach. Wonderful location easily driveable to Rye, Dungeness, St Leonard’s, and Hastings. The place is stylish and cosy at the same time. Great set up and everything you could wish for!

We were a family of two couples, two children and a baby, plus a grandmother. Anna was a great host, always available both before and during our stay. Her place is lovely, warm and welcoming. The walk to the beach is easy and at low tide we found lots of shells. For those without a car, there is a regular bus service from the train station in Rye that take just a few minutes, and there is private parking for two cars. This was our second visit, and it was just as good as the first. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely couple of days, Linda was there to greet us when we arrived and answered our questions about the area and where things were. The room was clean and more than adequate for our needs. The breakfast items supplied made it really easy in the mornings and the flapjacks on our arrival were delicious with a cup of tea. It is in a quiet area but a short walk from the beach and shops. If we were in the area again we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

We loved Sara Jane’s house. Really cozy with a cool vibe and homely atmosphere. We enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sofas in front of the open fire - bliss! The beds were super comfy and it was so peaceful and quiet. I slept so well. Sara Jane left us some nice food for breakfast and other nice touches to make our stay super lovely.

Lovely space to spend a couple of days. Very countryside. June was a warm and helpful Host.

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt and uncle who stayed in Alex's bnb when I was getting married last weekend. They were delighted with the accommodation, it was lovely clean and cozy and filled with treats! Alex herself was so friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond for them during their stay. They wanted me to send their big thanks for making this exciting weekend extra special! I also wanted to say that Alex was really great with communication and directions provided perfect details of where to go and always made herself available. Paula and Simon were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The little extra touches they left for us made the stay even more comfortable (especially with children!). The house is also absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for a very easy and lovely stay.

Apartment was spotless. Everything was there we needed. The most wonderful experience was sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and sunset over the sea. Perfect location to chill. Gemma was always on hand if needed and was always helpful and cheery. Would definitely stay again.

Marsha’s place is fabulous, cheeky and so full of life and character. Definitely one of the most beautiful, unique places we have ever stayed in, we didn’t want to leave! Check in and check out was super easy, with no hassle. The house had everything you could possibly need to have a comfortable stay, including some breakfast bits, coffee and tea. The beds were so cozy and comfortable, we couldn’t have had a better nights sleep. Sofas and chairs were also super comfy, with plenty of space to sit and relax. I could not recommend this lovely house more! Thank you Marsha, for an amazing stay!

Tam and Ed were absolutely wonderful hosts! very helpful and went out of their way to assist us couldn’t have been friendlier! The place is beautiful and in a wonderful spot would highly recommend it. We are definitely going to come back well worth the trip from Sydney to go there!

It felt like a home away from home! I had the most relaxing and enjoyable (early) Christmas holiday! The Christmas decorations were such a happy touch! Thank you!!!

We had a great stay. Lovely place, both the space itself - very cosy and comfortable - and the garden and surrounding area: beautiful, green, and tranquil. Carol and Guy are great hosts, very kind and accomodating, and communicate well. Highly recommended!

Once again we stayed overnight in Arden B&B which is perfectly hosted by Sue. Sue is very kind and does everything to feel you like home. We enjoyed the talks with her very much and we are looking forward to our next stay there. :-) *****

I stayed at Caroline and Gary's place for one night to see the Bonfire Pageant in Rye (which is only a short drive away) and I must say it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. First of all the cottage is really cute, and the room/bed is very comfortable. The ensuite bathroom is spacious and very clean. The welcome brownie much appreciated! A great breakfast with local produce awaits you in the morning. Most of all, Caroline's hospitality is outstanding and authentic, she makes you feel so welcome. Thank you!

Sally is such a great host - flexible with our late arrival and starting the fireplace to make us feel home from the first moment. Great view and very peaceful place to relax. We‘ll return for sure !

We had a fabulous time at Jo’s Jo was extremely attentive and responded immediately. So many great touches like coffee, tea, orange juice and eggs. The area and the view are absolutely stunning, honestly the pictures do not do justice compared to when you are there!!!
