Vacation rentals with a kayak in Hastings County

My nephew was visiting with family from Atlanta. Wanted to have some fun family time. Had wonderful time there. The host was very friendly and was there to welcome. Gave very useful information about the place and things to do. Will have beautiful and cherished memories about the stay for years to come!

We loved these accommodations which looked just like the pictures. Very convenient location right across the street from a local grocery store, walking distance to shops and restaurants, private back yard facing the Trent River and a lovely deck to enjoy nature and the Blue Jays and chipmunks that came to visit. Very friendly and accommodating hosts that went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our visit. The entire home was very clean, great bed linens and all the amenities you could wish for. My only disappointment was that I didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy this beautiful home to its fullest because the eleven days we spent here was preparing for our daughter’s wedding and we had a long task list. Hopefully our next visit, and there will be a next visit, will be less busy and relaxing so we can fully enjoying everything this accommodation has to offer. Looking forward to our next stay already!

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

I frequently stay at Airbnb’s and travel a lot. I would say this is the best host I’ve ever had. Super friendly, super nice, super knowledgeable of the area and gave great suggestions. The home was unique and very nice. I will definitely be going back next time I’m in the area.

We are so happy with our stay! The property was beautiful and the amenities were an added bonus. We mainly booked this location because we needed something that was wheelchair accessible and this home absolutely meet all our needs. Door were wide enough for the wheelchair, beds were high so we could get a lift under to make transferring to and from the wheelchair possible. It was also easy to get in and out of the home with a wheelchair. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was also great communication before and after our stay. We felt right at home and the location was wonderful for a stay in PEC. We plan to go back again!

Great setting on the beach. This was a winter stay for us so the coastline was very dramatic. We felt very peaceful there. The stars were some of the brightest we've ever seen. The house is clean and spacious with everything you need. Lots of comfy places to hang out! Thanks Douglas :)

I don't know where to start! Steph and her family supported us in our tough time when we had to leave our prevous airbnb due to safety issues. She accomodated us with short notice while we were stuck in a storm and didn't have anywhere to go with 3 little kids. she was so kind and nice to us, warmed up the place before we get there and gave us clear instructions on where to find what we needed. This was a really great experience and she is a real angel with all the support during the family weekend and we ended up having a great time for the rest of our trip!Their place is spacious and it has a mesmerizing view even in wintertime,can't imagine how cool would be the view in summer time! Definitely recommand this place and the hosts to everyone!

The cottage was an ideal fall retreat. With plenty of firewood provided, we stayed cozy through chilly nights, and the clean barbecue made outdoor meals easy. The lake was calm and beautiful, and we enjoyed peaceful moments on the water with the host’s canoe and kayak. Nearby trails led to excellent lookout points with fantastic views. The night sky was incredibly clear, it felt like we could see the entire galaxy. Christine's parents were also very helpful during our stay, adding a welcoming touch to the experience. This place offered a perfect blend of comfort and nature.

We had a fabulous winter vacation at Jackie’s cottage. The cottage was just as we expected and the location was amazing. Being located so close to hiking trails in the park was a bonus and a great way to spend a snowy day. We would love to return to experience it in the summer. Thanks Jackie!

This was a lovely getaway. Kevin was so easy to communicate with and the place was in good shape. We had just had a pretty serious snowfall and the time was taken to not only plow the driveway but clear all decking, stairs and even the walk to the hot tub. I can’t tell you how much appreciated that was! The ability to bring our pups was also very appreciated. They highly enjoyed the group of turkeys that took a tour down the driveway while we were there! We’ll be renting again.

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

The airbnb so nice we had to visit it twice! My friend and I have stayed at Roger & Julie's cottage twice in the last two months to get a full appreciate of Ontario winters and have close access to Algonquin & Silent Lake provincial oarks. Everything was perfect, and the hosts very kindly came to plough the driveway twice during February's second storm. Great hosts, great cottage and great location. 11/10, would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at oak cottage. The cottage was extremely well equipped with lots of little extras like slippers, delicious homemade jam, pet blankets etc that made us feel right at home. Linda was very friendly, accommodating and responsive. We would love to visit again.

We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

we had a lovely, relaxing weekend at Daniella's place! The space was beautiful, clean, thoughtful and well stocked! the hosts thought of everything to make us feel at home. Everything is there with intention, and the location is unmatched...Photos don't do this little gem justice, will definitely be back!

Laura and Dale's Cottage was such a cozy, sunny, beautiful place nestled in a wooded lot right on the water front. We spent a week there in October and loved the wood fireplace and warmth that the cottage brought. The kitchen was charming with lots of well placed windows. Everything you needed for cooking was available. The board games were nostalgic and fun to play. The bed and bedding was so comfy and perfect for reading in the mornings. The view from the bedroom window was otherworldly especially the full moon coming across the water and the Autumn leaves were spectacularly gorgeous! We cant say enough about this place. We highly recommend it and we hope to return again.

We couldn't have asked for a better winter wonderland escape for the weekend. The cabin was a cozy spot to hunker down and enjoy some rest and relaxation during the stormy weather. It was so peaceful watching the snow fall over the lake. Mike and Rosa were incredibly responsive hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay and provided clear instructions about how to access the place. We loved that we were able to bring our dog with us! It was a fun weekend snowshoeing around the lake and spotting the otters coming up through the ice in the distance. Thank you, Mike & Rosa for a beautiful getaway! We can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. My family and I were welcomed to a very clean and cozy cottage with beautiful lake access and views. There was a shared play area for the kids and they had a blast on the trampoline. We were provided with lots of amenities and things to make our stay welcome and homey. I would recommend Caitlin's place any time! The only thing to be weary about (and no fault at all due to the owners) is power may go out due to weather conditions; and because there was no backup generator, come prepared with flashlights/candles and a portable stovetop.

Peter is a very kind and an understanding host. Extremely responsive and takes pride in what he does. The place is clean and has all the essentials you would need. We stayed for 2 nights while we were hiking at the Algonquin park and we did not want to camp outside, so it perfectly fit our needs. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first time using an Airbnb. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at this place. I would for sure book this place again. We went with my parents who are older so getting down to the water for them was a little bit difficult. Our dog loved it lots of space for her to run around. Thinking we need to go in the fall for sure the leaves would be beautiful.
