This was my first air b&b booking and it has honestly been amazing. Michelle was very helpful in accommodating our large group for my wedding and answering all my questions. It was a lovely house to stay in, we all had plenty of space to move around and not once did we feel on top of each other. If I ever found myself in Bocking or the surrounding area it is one that I would book again. I would love to explore the fields out the back and spend more time in the surrounding area. The house was in the perfect location and everything about it was great.

Lovely stay in a perfect location.. we stayed with our newborn as our first get away together and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Comfortable, clean, warm, scenic. We will be visiting again later in the year and recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a great stay.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Nice location with amazing walks within minutes. Also lots of pubs and places to eat. Johanna's house is full of character and perfect for a short break in a classic UK seaside town. Recommended.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

This was perfect for our family. We stayed here for two weeks and felt right at home. Had everything we needed and was a great location for us.

It was price for two nights but the accommodation was very, very good and it was a bank holiday and and Coopers Beach was full so I guess you'll pay a premium for that.

A perfect home away from home! The caravan is in a great location and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The caravan is spacious, with a bonus of having outside decking and seating that looks out onto the sea. There are activities on the park (including an outdoor heated swimming pool which is a bonus, in addition to a shop, restaurant and clubhouse which had some good entertainment. This was all shared in my welcome email which was greatly received. The place was really clean and the added welcome gift from Shanice was a really nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again. The Brambles is set in a pretty, private and peaceful location. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable (not least the bed!), and well equipped too. Alice herself was friendly, helpful and always prompt to respond to messages sent. We'd be happy to return to the Brambles again and would recommend there to anyone visiting the area looking for a place to stay.

Fantastic stay at Chisholm’s - the property was exactly as described and very comfortable, warm and cosy at a cold time of year. En suite bathrooms in both bedrooms was brilliant, with great shower pressure. Everything was of excellent quality throughout, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Polly was very helpful with excellent local knowledge. Thank you so much - would highly recommend.

Great place in a beautiful part of the country. We came down for work, really good value for money, WiFi was great, we were able to get everything done, close to local towns for meetings and the bed was really comfortable. We’ll definitely use it again next time we’re down. Thank you for having us Kirsty!

My family enjoyed our little weekend break in this accommodation. Home from home. Nice corner plot with a lovely hot tub which kiddies really enjoyed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

We had an amazing time at Simon's place and our dog loved it too! The caravan was exactly as described, clean, very comfortable and welcoming to pets. It was in a great location, and we loved being close to the beach, the only difficulty was getting our dog out of the water - he loves it so much. Simon was incredibly welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Simon went above and beyond by providing bowls etc for the dog as well as extra pillows, blankets for us and added things in the kitchen. We appreciated the local recommendations of all the amenities that were on site and near by especially for dog walking. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mersea.

Had a lovely night in the cabin. Super cosy with the log burner and very comfortably furnished with everything you might need. Lovely walk in the surrounding countryside. Just a shame I couldn’t stay longer, hope to return! Thanks Gemma

Great little place to stay, warm, clean and tidy, too cold for the garden during our stay (Jan) but that looked great for a summer's evening. Local pub is a must, good food and fab beer.

Overall a good stay would go back if the mouse situation was fixed.

We had a lovely experience at the Puffin cottage. The environment was very peaceful and the beach is just a few minutes walk from the house. Sarah was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean and has a large garden. I will visit again.

Extremely friendly and helpful host, the dogs played together lovely. The place was clean, warm and the little extras were lovely as well as the good TV choice. Enjoyed this stay!
