Beachfront vacation rentals in Hampton

This beach house was amazing, spacious, clean, well stocked. We enjoyed staying there during our mini vacation with our son who will be deploying soon. Thank you so much! the Barretts.

Kenzi was an awesome host - super helpful and responsive. Her place was cute and was perfect for us. Our two dogs loved it (especially the backyard) and were sad to leave. We were there in January due to some construction on our house, so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the beach, but it was still a fun area to explore. We hope to return in warmer weather!

Kate was a great host. She was very responsive and helpful.

Jen was possibly the kindest, most helpful host I have experienced using Airbnb. She was pro-active in suggesting things for us to consider and a great communicator. Her place was just as advertised. The large open space (kitchen/dining/living rooms) was perfect for our group of mixed age family members. Jen's kitchen was particularly suited to our needs, even sporting a cook's scale so we could measure baking ingredients with precision. We filled and emptied her refrigerator several times. The walkers in our group reported great beach walks. Her dog-friendly neighborhood worked well for us also. We will always keep Jen's place in mind should we need a large, well appointed space in VaB in the future.

Whenever I’m in town again, this place will be the first thing I look at for availability.

The home was beautiful and the location was quiet. Very up to date and the host was very communicative and friendly!

Chuck will confirm this was our first "test run" into "snowbirding" and with the exception of the weather (first snow in 3 years) it could not have been better. The Cottage was magnificent, clean, cozy, warm and perfect for 2 adults and a small dog (that fenced yard was awesome). We had 2 tiny issues (and I mean tiny) and Chuck was there within 20 minutes to rectify both, and I'm glad we had em because it gave us a chance to get to know him a bit, and what a nice guy, wish we lived closer to each other, I think we'd be good friends. Great location, close to everything, groceries, good restaurants, fast food, etc. I'd recommend to anyone interested (especially if you have a dog}. Thanks to Chuck and his lovely wife Robin for a great "test run" into getting out of Maine for a very cold month! George & Beth (and Kelly) !!

This is a lovely house within easy walking distance of the heart of Cape Charles. We loved being able to walk to the New Year’s Eve Crab Pot drop on Mason St. The house is comfortable and charming with a great kitchen. It was quiet even though it was so close to the main hub of activity in Cape Charles.

We had a fantastic time staying at Jamie & Crystal’s “Carolina on My Mind” condo at the Sanctuary in Sandbridge. The condo was spotless and well-equipped with everything we needed, from dishes and cookware to all the essential appliances. The beach was clean and uncrowded during our visit, making it a perfect vacation. We especially enjoyed the foosball table, which provided hours of fun for our family. There were also plenty of play toys and family games to keep everyone occupied. The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. We would definitely recommend Carolina on My Mind to our family and friends.

Three families were together at this beautiful beach side house for 1 week and had a fantastic stay. Although it was winter, there were plenty of amenities that we were able to use such as the fire pit and the hot tub. Almost all the rooms had ensuite bathrooms which was awesome! We would absolutely return to this house in the future!

Space is compact, but ideal for the 3 of us. Although we were not in town for pleasure (funeral), the beach is only a few blocks away. Kat was very quick in responding to any questions. She is a very gracious host.

Amazing spot! Lovely views of the ocean! Peaceful rest when falling to sleep with the lulling ocean waves! Parking is extremely convenient! Within walking distance of the boardwalk and multiple eateries. Overall perfect stay during the holiday season! Thanks you our excellent hosts for communicating and answering any and all questions.

My wife flew down from California for a few days and I wanted it to be special…and this was definitely the perfect spot for that! Quiet, cozy, cute home feeling yet in the heart of so much to do in walkable distances from everything Virginia Beach had to offer. Did I mention it’s right outside of the boardwalk/beach! Emma was on top of everything that needed attending to and was very quick to respond if needed. Incredible place with an even better host that made this trip an absolute invaluable experience for me and my partner, Thank you Emma!

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

Beautiful setting, walkable to the beach and a few local restaurants, next to the swimming pool & bathhouse but shrubbery for privacy, and on the water. Crystal was very responsive and helpful!! Just an overall cool spot …. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again! I provided my own RV.

This was our second stay and it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated. The beds were the best part and so comfortable. A beautiful view and private beach area. And Ashley is a very responsive and helpful host. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Heidi's place was great for us. Quick 3 days to drop off my daughter at the Navy base which it was only 20 minutes. The view in the house was amazing! Waking up to the bright sun coming in. The beach is walking distance like literally right out back. I had to go check it out even thought it was cold. But most definitely coming back in the summer. Loved the kitchen with the view made it more relaxing. Everything was great. We did not use our truck for the rest of the days, we walked to the restaurants around the area and grocery store. Heidi awesome host and very sweet. We had no issues. Highly recommend, loved it!

Our family Thanksgiving was great! What a beautiful home with a breathtaking view of the water!! Just waking up each day with that beautiful sunrise over the water was wonderful to see. What a hidden gem! Everything you possibly have needed was provided in the home. The fireplace was very nice especially on those cold evenings! We can't wait to return! Responsive even before I booked. As pictured. Accommodated 5 of us very comfortably. Friends stayed one half block up I liked our place much better!

Lovely, comfortable home. Great hosts. The master bedroom with the sliding glass doors that let you watch the sunrise from bed was amazing.

Kristy’s beach house was the perfect weekend get away. The place was exactly as described with beautiful views of the water from every room. The living was cozy with a fireplace and we enjoyed the grill that was under the covered gazebo. Highly recommend the winery that just minutes away from the property. The fire pit was the perfect place to make s’mores with the water in the backdrop.

What a fantastic place! I came from Pennsylvania to visit with family. Katie’s place was a great spot for them to come visit. We cooked out on the grill and the kids played in the water and on the beach. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is fully stocked with everything you could think of and labeled! The best part was watching the sunrise while sipping a cup of coffee on the covered porch. It was so peaceful. Oh! And of course watching the dolphins play! I really hope we can come back again in the future, we had the absolute best time! Thank-you Katie and Tim for everything!

Exceptional Airbnb host - communication with Diana was so easy and friendly. The first feeling when I walked in was "wow!" It's a very nice space and clearly the result of thoughtful curation by the hosts. The home was well-stocked and clean, which made the stay feel easy/relaxing - there were thoughtful touches in every room, from the very well-stocked kitchen to the shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every bathroom to the pillows of multiple firmness levels making it easy to find one that worked for me. So nice to have a washer/dryer while traveling too. And the very clear instructions on check-in and check-out also added to the sense of ease. One flag for those with small children is to pay special attention to the photos of the upstairs balcony rail and stairs - the gaps are fine for anyone who isn't a baby/toddler, but we chose to make the toddler room the downstairs bedroom, rather than having him walking around upstairs at all, just to be extra safe.
