Conclusion in advance: The mountain hut near Zell am See is an absolute gem of AirBnB. Location: The cabin is secluded and private on a pasture-covered mountain with private driveway. It is always quiet without hikers or the like passing the cabin. You really have your peace and quiet here! Accommodation: Everything you need is there! Super clean and modern! A big plus is the sauna, which is heated with firewood. If you want, you can use the wooden grill for cooking, which gives the whole thing an even more intense cabin flair. Arrival and departure: If you want to live on a mountain hut, you have to be aware that the cabin is forcibly located on a mountain. The path to the cabin is gravel and is a small challenge on the first ascent and descent. But the second time we had no more problems. A PS stronger/ higher car is certainly an advantage.

This was one of our favorite places ever! Christine is lovely, just like her place. It's nice, cozy, comfortable, equipped with everything you'd need and the cleanest place I've ever seen. It's in a beautiful area, quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the company of the cats and the chickens. :) Thank you for everything!

5 stars is not enough 😊 we spent a week skiing with Maria and Hans. Both the ski resort at the Schmittenhöhe and the Kitzsteinhorn are super easy to reach by ski bus (stops right outside the door). We didn't need the car all week, supermarket and a swimming pool with spa and gym are also right next door. The apartment and the whole yard are super nice, cozy and clean. Maria and Hans are incredibly warm hosts and have also provided us with fresh eggs, homemade yogurt and more from the farm. There really is nothing to complain about - a thousand thanks for this beautiful week!

Saying this place is amazing would be an understatement. My husband and I decided to come to Hallstatt for our honeymoon based off of one picture we saw online. We did the same in choosing this Airbnb. WOW this place is a GEM!!! Far exceeded our expectations. Lisa and Gabriele are incredible hosts, and their place was picturesque. They offered us bikes which we took all across both Obertraun and Hallstatt easily. At night, we got to sit on our private balcony and watch the stars. Couldn’t have been a better more magical time.

A perfect holiday home .. feels really like our home .. very close to ski schools and cable cars to mountains .. restaurants are around 10 minute drive. Helpful host .. fully surrounded by snow covered mountains.. good and memorable stay .. thank you

We had such a lovely weekend at Karl and Ulli house. They were hosting us in such a friendly and welcoming manner. We received so many recommendations and ideas of places to visit. And the rooms were cosy, warm, clean and comfortable. We’ll be happy to visit again Karl and Ulli 😊

Really beautiful apartment, cozy, with a nice view, beautiful decoration and well equipped. Also it definitely was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Its a big apartment so its not easy to heat up, it gets a bit colder during the night, but there are enough blankets to keep you warm. Katharina is really friendly and helpful! This place is ideal during the winter if you want some peace and quiet and to get away from the city (much easier stay if you travel with a car )

we had a wonderful stay in Manuela's place. the apartment itself is very beautiful, causy and "home-like", with alots of stuff suitable for young kids - a choice of games outsude, bed=fences etc. outside - a playground, a choice of vehices for kids, and lots of anumals that the guests can help feed. and the surrounding - green and beutiful, like looking at the postcard. in short, highly recommended, especially with kids

5 star place to stay, amazing view, very charming house, way better than any place in Hallstatt. We had amazing days. Thanks to Suzanne who was very helpful and kind to us. Definitely considering to come back again.

We had a great stay! The surrounding area is great for unwinding and recovering. Our daughter loved the animals on the farm and we loved the magnificent view. The little extras such as fresh milk and eggs as well as the use of the sauna and pool (water was also not too cold thanks to the sunny weather) rounded it off and made it an unforgettable experience! We were a group of 12 - the only small downside was a fact where were only 3 independent toilets; otherwise everything was exceptional, the best part of it the ability to cook on wooden stove.

Lisa’ place is a bit of heaven on earth. It is in such a lovely, idyllic setting. The apartment was big, bright, clean and comfortable. The nearby town of Unterach is beautiful and the mountains surrounding Attersee are incredible. We enjoyed staying on the farm and our kids loved all of the animals. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return one day.

Evelin's place was the perfect setting for our wedding anniversary celebration. It was the respite we needed after several days of touring Old Town Salzburg and being on our feet all day. The setting in the countryside (yet only ~ 25-minutes' drive from Salzburg) was beautiful and serene. As mentioned by Evelin, we were greeted by Leo and Paul (very friendly and gentle Bernese Mountain dogs) as soon as we drove up to the farm. Evelin is an amazing host (we got to meet her one morning). From our first contact and throughout our stay, she was responsive and helpful; she answered all of our questions, and it never seemed to be a problem. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, immaculately clean, and state of the art. The heated floors add a nice touch, the balcony was a bonus (although a bit cold outside to avail ourselves of the space), and it was nice to have a washer. The fireplace and free-standing tub added a nice ambiance. A short drive to several great restaurants. A must stay!

Very nice place in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything is as described. Claudia is very helpful and kind. In fact, we don't have any reservations. If you're going in the winter, take to heart the hosts' request to take chains in the car, we could use it once.

We had a wonderful time at the MandlwandLodge! It combines traditional cabin feeling with modern comfort. We had everything we need and felt right home. The place itself is made with a lot of love to detail and it was a warm welcome. The view form the apartment is amazing because the cabin surrounded by the mountains. You also can start a hike directly from the house. We're looking forward to our next stay at MandlwandLodge!

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped. Two bathrooms, a large kitchen table and sofa are great for a larger number of guests. Nadia responded quickly to messages and resolved everything right away. An underground garage is also a big advantage.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place. The view was stunning, and the location near the river was perfect. The kids absolutely loved the area with the chickens and rabbits—it added a special touch to our stay. The kids' area was well-designed, and the finishing throughout the property was super deluxe. I highly recommend this place for families!

We spent our annual family reunion at Wolfbachlgut, had a great time. The ancient farmhouse that was perfectly combined with moderns left nothing to be desired.

Everything was fine, perfectly equipped kitchen, good beds, spacious bathroom, separate toilet and nice sauna.

Accommodation according to the photos, clean and pleasant welcome from Jérôme who is good advice about the region. Apartment near basic necessities shops as well as ski lifts/ransomed. We would recommend the home without hesitation
