Had a chance to stay here during the most busiest time of the year in Chiang Mai -- the yee peng festival! I was out of time of the day but everything here gives so much local vibes! From the wooden house, the door, the bed and all. Its also peace and quiet. No issues with wifi too. AC works well and theres also a fan inside and table and chairs. People there are so nice and always greets you with a smile. They also have a cute cat around! Overall I had a pleasant stay! Thank you so much!

Centrally located, part of a boutique hotel in a good neighborhood for accessing the old quarter. Very easy check in and out process and despite being multi-unit, was still private. I would visit this AirBNB again.

Great stay! Bright and his entire family is really nice and welcoming. They picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. Bright told me about some great spots in Chiang Mai and let me use his scooter. The breakfast in the morning right at home is really nice. Highly recommended!

It's a place you can call home. Taeng (we did not meet Süleyman) is incredibly friendly, kind hearted and welcoming. She's there whenever you need something and otherwise your privacy will be respected. The house itself has everything you need and everything is designed and arranged in an incredibly thoughtful and intelligent way. We felt at home instantly. Amenities like the water filter for drinking water from the tap and the washing machine were incredibly handy. Every window has mosquito nets so you can have plenty of fresh air without having to worry about insects. The views from the house are incredible, even better that on the images. You can really connect with nature. Although it was after the harvest season and the fields did not have any plants, it was still a breathtaking view to have right in front of your porch. The area itself is very rural and quiet with lots of cute little restaurants and local markets. We would be more than happy to come back one day.

Good online contact in advance, the landlord picked up from the airport, very smooth and convenient, the room is very clean and tidy, the landlord gave 2 bottles of water per day, very considerate.I borrowed a bicycle from the landlord, rented a model car 2 days later, the landlord gave me a place to store the car and the key, the landlord is very friendly, but these feelings disappeared on the last day, I felt that the landlady's smiling face disappeared, and when the time was running out, she urged me to leave. I was packing my suitcase, and the landlady was going to help me carry my suitcase outside to pack. It was hot outside, like a fireplace, and after I said that the time had not yet arrived, she did not insist on letting me out.I just packed up safely and moved out of here, and it's not even 12 o'clock yet.

Beautiful room like the photos, friendly host. I arrived at midnight from an international flight and checked in easily. There is a shared, covered patio in the yard with ample seating, free fruits and ramen, tea, water, and microwave. A nice place to meet other guests and reheat food. Quiet at night.

Comfortable accommodation with cozy bedding.

This was a really good place to stay and I felt very safe, good coffee shops close and so close to the centre.

I've a really great time staying at Khun Tanapoom place. He is a really good host and so kind. The room is safe, big, and every space is clean. I love the decoration! Everything went smooth from check-in to check-out. The location was so great, you can walk to Tha phae gate and many attraction. Definitely go back again next time!

It was a wonderful experience staying here. The hosts were friendly and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable all through out 6 months. They were responsive and always helpful with their notices or advice regarding the weather conditions or news in the local area. I cant stress how gracious the hosts were in making us feel at home, we never felt like we were in another persons house but rather, always feeling relaxed in our own home. The home itself is lovely and has everything one needs for a long stay. I have no complaints after staying here for 6 months and the time that passed felt like a breeze because I did not feel anything lacking from the start of my stay to the end. This was in part due to the exisiting amenities and the other part was the effort of the hosts to provide for anything additional that was needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you so much for everything!

I had an amazing 4-night stay at Julaluck’s place above a bar near Maya Mall. She was such a kind and responsive host, even bringing me a scale when I asked if there was a way to weigh my luggage. The room was super spacious, clean, and had these beautiful lamps that gave it a really cozy vibe at night. Perfect spot for anyone visiting Chiang Mai—highly recommend!

In Chiang Mai, it was originally because of the language problem, but also saw Nui's house was very distinctive, so it was intentionally booked for two nights.The room is very clean, there is a simple breakfast, and we experience the slow life of the locals.The hostess was very welcoming and asked about our itinerary and gave some helpful tips.It was already over 7pm on the day we got there, and it was still very patient to tell us where we could have dinner.

Rice Barn and Rooms is indeed a home away from home for my family and i. We had an amazing experience from the moment we were picked up from the airport to the day we departed. Al and Nok are more than superhosts who made us feel at home, and shared truly wonderful recommendations that allowed us to experience true Chiang Mai gems. Rice Barnes and Rooms is clearly build and managed with loads of love and creativity inspiring and inducing serenity, peace, and we have clearly left a piece of our hearts back there.

I had great experience staying here, thanks to the warm and welcoming hospitality of the host. Her home-cooked meals were absolutely delightful and added a personal touch to the whole experience. The cozy atmosphere made it so easy to relax, as if I were living in my own home. Convenient parking was another bonus, making everything hassle-free. The location is fantastic, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and businesses, making it super convenient to explore and enjoy the area, which is inevitably a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the overall warmth and charm of the stay. Recommend!

I really enjoyed my month long stay here in this quiet but convenient neighbourhood. The hostess Amy is very helpful and she shares her tips on the best local restaurants and hangouts. The room is modern and comfortable too. If you want to get a taste of Chiang Mai in a pleasant, safe neighbourhood, book yourself in for a longish stay. You’ll soon feel right at home.
