Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Haad Rin

Situated in a great location between 2 of the most popular spots on the island, Fisherman’s Village & Chaweng. You can rent a bike with Pepe or locally, or take one of the many red taxis that beep as they pass by to ‘ask’ if you would like a ride. A 5 minute walk to the big grocery store, Big C. The room was clean, quiet, great AC and spacious. Exactly what I needed as a digital nomad working from home. The owner Pepe is very friendly and attentive. I would stay here again.

Really nice place I got into on short notice. I was surprised with how spacious it was and super comfortable right next to a little pond. The birds can be super loud but it’s part of staying in this climate so just be aware of that. Lovely place super accommodating host and staff — very private & quiet, would book again!

Everything was great in the accommodation. I'd love to come back 👍🏼 Small point of criticism: The wifi is not working properly. But otherwise really nice room 👍🏼

I stayed at Nemo's place for 4 weeks and it really was my home away from home. It had everything I needed. The studio is decorated and furnished beautifully, looks exactly like the photos and it really did offer great comfort. I've ordered the exact same pillows for home 😅 Location is great and close by to the beach, beach clubs and two main areas- Fisherman's Village and Bang Rak. If you like to walk and you don't mind the heat both areas are walkable distance from the apartment. Thank you for a great stay Nemo and Jo x

I chose this place mainly because there is a Kitchen and Lamai is my favorite place in Koh Samui. Luckily there was a huge terrace with a fantastic view where I spent hours every day watching what happened in the lush nature. I like the ocean, but the infinity pool was fantastic. I had it all to myself for hours most days...floting on my air mattress watching the incredible view. The best supermarket (Makro) on the island is just around the corner. You need a scooter to get around. Rental is cheap...but be focused when driving. 3 minutes to Lamai beach and less than a minute to Makro supermarket.

I had a lovely stay. Place is as advertised. A little bit up a hill which was annoying, but still fine. Very responsive, communicative and helpful host. The washroom was very beautiful. Definitely a good place to stay if you want your own small getaway in Koh Samui.

Jen was an amazing and responsive host. She was accommodative in terms of check in and check out based on our travel schedule. Gave local recommendations as well. The apartment was clean and as described and had a beautiful view of the sunsets over the coastline and airplanes approaching to land. Probably the best in Koh Samui. Would definitely book when in Koh Samui again and recommend to family and friends.

Joanna is a great and responsive host. Was able to check in earlier at 1030am. Accomodation is nestled on a nice beach along Bangpor overlooking Koh Pha-Ngan. We are amazed on the safety of the location of the Beach Shack and away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. Key features are: 1. The tree house 2. Paddleboard & Kayak 3. Ginger the cat and 3 other dogs that will sometimes chill with us 4. Cheap and super tasty Thai food called “Thai Mama Cooking” just 5 mins walk away. You have to be an absolute animal lover in order to stay here. About 20 to 30 mins by motorbike to Bophut and Chaweng. And yes, we’d definitely consider staying here again in our next trip!

Daniel provided a great holiday home, it’s even better than the pictures look. Sai and the team on site are incredible and could not be more helpful. Fantastic sea view from the top floor. The location is absolutely the best thing, it really is totally peaceful and silent but everything you could need is 10 mins away on a moped. So many great restaurants, probably the best one you can walk to! I would recommend this to anyone Thank you Daniel and Sai

We had a wonderful time at Mark’s place. Looks actually a lot better than the pictures! Mark was very friendly and easy to communicate. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt, this was one of the most beautiful accommodations we've ever experienced. Hill Village on Koh Phangan truly emphasizes peace, tranquility, and the beauty of nature. Our family, including two children and two adults, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene escape. The breathtaking view, the immaculate cleanliness of the house, and the well-equipped kitchen all contributed to a wonderful experience. We also appreciated the spacious and lovely terrace, and Neenit, our host, was incredibly accessible and accommodating. While the walk to the beach takes about 5-10 minutes, the steep hills posed a bit of a challenge for our little ones, so we highly recommend renting a moped for ease of access. The two nearby beaches were not only stunning but also very child-friendly, which was perfect for our family. Thank you for such a memorable stay. We hope to return again soon!"

Great little place to stay. We were there for 4 nights, absolutely sufficient for this time to prepare a small breakfast and start the day. Around the corner was a scooter rental, 7 Eleven and good restaurants. Chilled atmosphere in the evening at Hin Kong Beach. We had a lovely time. 😊

One of the most beautiful stays in Thong Nai Pan Yai. 7min walk to the beach and by far the best village on Koh Phagnan. It was amazing to have our own private space where we could enjoy the jungle vibes with our 2 years old. Would love to be back one day.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at johns place and share a couple beers on the last day with some great English humour and stories of his past! It’s super super spacious place with multiple areas to chill out inside and out & a huge sofa for movie nights 4 cozy beds & baths The rock in the pool keeps it nice and warm in the day & night BBQ perfect for hosting a feast too

The Apartment was in a great location. You could walk to the beach, the convenience store, and various restaurants. We had been staying in many hotels on this trip, and getting an apartment was a GREAT decision. The place had an oversized couch, a comfy bed, and a washer machine, but most of all, there was LOTS of room to spread out as opposed to a cramped hotel room for the same price. It had easy parking for our rented motorbike, which was a plus. We will definitely stay here next year as well.

Thank you for the hospitality and super flexible check-in. We felt very comfortable in this complex as a family. The cafe, which is right next to the property, is great and offers delicious stuff. The location is quiet yet central. With our scooters, we were able to reach the yoga village in ten minutes. Apartment is cosy and functional. Very positive to mention are the comfortable bed and the water pressure in the shower, which is actually not self-evident on Koh Phangan. The value for money is great! We are therefore happy to recommend the place.

The apartment was really nice, very spacious and clean and in a great location, within 5-10mins walk of fisherman’s village but in a really quiet lovely area. Pool and roof top garden plus gym was a nice touch too and more than what we needed. Private underground parking for bikes and cars. Overall a really enjoyable stay and would certainly stop again.

I really enjoyed my stay at DB Studios. The place was exactly as described and the pictures. It was peaceful and I enjoyed hearing the birds outside my balcony. My room was facing the entrance with a balcony which also had a view of the pool and guest lounge area. The location was in a good spot in Lamai. I was able to walk to almost everything. I'd definitely stay here again. Thank you. :)
