Very responsive host. We really appreciated having an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom. We enjoyed walking along the beach or the boardwalk to Alvor and beyond on the estuary.

We enjoyed to stay there... Nice flat, for longer holidays, like we had, perfect... Very quiet... nice región, so many different beaches... we loved that one which is just 7km from the house away (praia grande)... Everything was just as good as it could be...

This apartment is in the perfect location in Burgau. It is just a minute away from the main square filled with tasty restaurants, with the beach and shop are not much further. Lisa was very responsive and left wood for the fire and some wine and snacks for our arrival.

We stayed at Sharon's villa for 28 days and it was fabulous. The villa was comfortable and clean and it was our home away from home. It is located in a secure gated community which is close to everything and it is very quiet. One can walk to two beaches, a multitude of good restaurants, bars, mini-markets, a bakery and the Strip. Although we rented a car for the duration, we used it for day trips to other towns and beaches further afield. The villa is quite spacious with lots of natural light and the backyard gardens and terrace are great for relaxing. The villa has everything you need and the kitchen is well equipped. Beach towels and beach umbrella are provided and come in handy for beach time. On arrival, a bottle of wine, bottled water, orange juice and bags of ice cubes were provided which was a nice touch. Sharon was always quick to respond to any inquiries both before and during our stay. We would highly recommend Sharon's villa.

It was a lovely house, among the locals with all the facilities and the boulevard a short walk away. Very nice host who was proactive in communication and a lovely mother and neighbor who came to clean every week and helped me discover the nice local places. If you want to discover the real life this is absolutely recommended!!! Catia and family, thank you so much for the good care and see you next time!

A lovely clean and spacious apartment in a peaceful area. Nina is super responsive and a five star host. The Rocho Bravo complex is five minutes away where you can find the basics and lovely fresh bread daily for enjoying breakfast outside the apartment. We mainly used the local restaurants around the entrance to Rocho Bravo as these were good Portuguese family run businesses and a fantastic Indian restaurant called Pashmina only five minutes walk from the end of the street. We also used the fantastic O Stop restaurant at the beach which is around 10/15 mins walk away. The food was fantastic as well as the view overlooking the beach and caves. We didn’t have a car but used Uber taxis which were very reasonable to visit carveoiro for shopping. We also visited the nearby Ferragudo for lunch and a wander along the river. Ferragudo is tiny and has a main square with great restaurants especially Salga. This apartment is a fantastic place to relax. Thank you Nina

Lovely Villa near the Tennis Academy in Vale Do Lobo. Maria was always very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future.

Great location- lovely views across the river and everything in easy walking distance - would highly recommend.

We stayed at this lovely casa during the winter month of December and after Rui and his family brought us some extra heaters it was a lovely stay! The terrace gets some great sun time during the day and there is no wind. Additionally you can walk to tonel and other beaches. The kitchen was nicely equipped too! Also we appreciated the actual sofa in the living room which allowed us to hang out together comfortably!

Very nice space, perfect for resting. The sunset is something not to be missed ;) I will certainly go back.

Corrou all well against the expected

Had a fab stay at David’s place! It has everything we needed and more! David helped us with getting too and from airport and helped with contacts plus brought us some food and water to settle us in! Really lovely place, spacious for all the family and a great pool! Thank you once again! Couldn’t recommend more!

We enjoyed the apartment very much. The amenities – from towels and bathrobes to bathroom amenities – were like a hotel. The cleanliness was great, whether in the bathroom, bedroom or kitchen! We really enjoyed the hot tub – maybe a little less chlorine could be used as the smell was quite intense. Thanks for the great apartment, Gilda and Joao!

We had a fantastic holiday at Per's house. Amazing hikes along the coast. Private pool is a plus when the sea is cold. Close to beach and restaurants. Per was quick to fix more wine glasses as there were only two left when we arrived.

We really enjoyed our stay at Patrice’s place. The apartment is roomy and was very clean and has everything you may need and a super comfy bed :) The views from the private terrace are unbelievable! The apartment is in an incredible location and very close to the beach and restaurants. Patrice was very kind and timely helped us with all our questions and with finding a parking spot very close by the place.

This was our third visit to Lagos and the first time in Daniela’s apartment. It was by far the best place we have stayed. The apartment was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location was great for walking to the harbour and promenade and walking distance to two great beaches. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby and we tried a couple of Daniela’s recommendations which were superb. We can’t wait to come back and will book this apartment again for the amazing views and location.

We had a fantastic time at Daniela's place. The house is exactly as described and as can be seen on the pictures. We loved that she left a bottle of wine and some croissants for breakfast for us upon arrival. The neighborhood is lovely and it is only a short walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely come back and can only warmly recommend the place.

A really great townhouse right in the heart of old Tavira. Close to great restaurants, bars, shops, market, river all within walking distance of your front door. You can take the boat to the island or hire bicycles and explore the miles of coastal park on quiet cycle tracks. The space is so cleverly designed and beautifully decorated, it has everything you could possibly need. Francisco was great, met us on arrival and was very quick to respond to any questions we had, a great host. Can thoroughly recommend this property.

Great stay. Alessandra responded very quickly to our messages and is very welcoming, she even provided wine for us and apple juice for our daughter. The accommodation is even more beautiful than in the pictures, very spacious and tastefully decorated. Fine beds and lovely smelling bedding. The outdoor courtyard is amazing and the place and the view is special next to the old flour factory. Within walking distance of downtown. We really enjoyed it and can highly recommend this place in Faro, thanks Alessandra!

This is the perfect place to stay in Olhao! The hospitality, location, cleanliness, and amenities went above and beyond. Rahima kindly greeted us and had welcome snacks, wine, and a thoughtful book of recommendations waiting for us. The area is nice and quiet, but still a very short walk from everything we wanted to do. The space would also be great for a group (my partner and I had more than enough space for the two of us). I will absolutely be recommending this listing to anyone planning a trip to Olhao!
