Out on the utmost desert island.... or more specifically Leknes, is a great house adapted for the mountain range into Hjørundfjord, on skis as on your feet! 100% or I can say 200% ! Highly recommended! Great house!

We were looking for absolute peace and quiet and found this at Grethe’s house. What a place to stay! Well equipped and amazing location.

Lovely cabin 50 meters from nice cross-country skiing trail that leads further into the community around Beitostølen. If you are going on alpine skiing, you have to drive to the lift 5 minutes away. The cabin was in top condition and perfect for a family. 2 levels with good rooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna and kitchen-living room with room for everyone. Located in a nice cabin area on a slope with great views. You feel it's Christian's own private cabin and you feel like visiting a good friend! Christian is super friendly and helpful with arrival and departure. You clean yourself, but there's everything you need. Highly recommend. We had a really nice holiday on skis. Thanks for that.

My mother and I enjoyed a few days at Yael's beautiful villa and had a wonderful time. The home and amenities are exactly as described. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and Yael left clear instructions for using various amenities. The view couldn't be better! We were treated to beautiful sunsets over the water every night. There is a nice walking path at the shoreline and there is a bus that is a short walk uphill that goes into the city. There is a grocery within walking distance or bigger stores a short drive away. We highly recommend Yael's villa for couples, a small family or a solo get away. We hope to return again in the spring/summer season to see more of the area, which is stunning! Many thanks!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation of Grethe and her husband. The two are very warm and helpful people, we were welcomed very kindly and were shown everything and received tips. The location is right on the fjord with great views of the water. Perfect to relax for a few days. The house is equipped with everything you might might need. We can definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. Enjoy the hot tub under the starry sky and northern lights.🥰 There was everything we needed. Nice service and glass in different varieties. Good sofa and space around the dining table. A perfect weekend!!

A very cozy place and nice host. We were 6 friends who enjoyed a cabin weekend with good food and nice trips nearby. Perfect as a meeting point between Trondheim and Oslo. Would definitely recommend and we would love to come back!
