Had a great time visiting this private getaway. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful after they came to clean & drain it the first day. This is a perfect location for someone looking to get away and experience nature. There is a brewery located about 24 min drive away that had great food, drinks, and is also pet friendly. Also visited Capacon Resort State Park; the trails were very well-maintained and Park Rangers great at providing recommendations. The park is also pet friendly. Daniel was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

Everything was very nice. The host was welcoming and respectful. We saw the tortoise, which was a novel treat. The view up in the forrested mountains is beautiful, and the accomodations were lovely. A very comfy couch and cozy kitchen area for breakfasts goes well wish the gracious sleeping area. We had a little bit of trouble finding a way to immerse ourselves in total darkness for sleeping, but everything felt so homey that was hardly an issue. Overall, a great place to stay with a very kind host and plenty of room to enjoy your time there.

The house was exactly like the pictures. There were lots of things to keep my kods entertained. I asked the host for a basketball and he brought one within an hour. The back yard view is beautiful. I definately recommend this spot for a vacation.

This place made me and my family feel right at home. They had everything we needed. They even provided a few snacks, coffee, and toys to accommodate the younger kids. I’ve never stayed anywhere that felt this at home. I didn’t reach out much during my trip, but when I did, they responded right away. I look forward to coming back in the future.

My family enjoyed our weekend stay at Ashely’s. It was exactly as described - charming, cozy and all the necessities provided. I didn’t need anything special because instructions were provided well in advance. I would happily stay again.

Perfect place to get away from DC.

My family and I were here for a winter wedding at Zigbone Farm. We were so fortunate to have found Stoney Spring Overlook for our stay. The house is charming, comfortable and spacious. The views are breathtaking. They was not one thing that we needed, the house is very well equipped. We felt right at home and Jeanne was the most gracious host. Jeanne provided lots of valuable information about nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and scenic spots. 5 stars is hardly enough, I wish I could give more. We look forward to returning to what the other seasons are like at Stoney Spring Overlook.
