What a fantastic place to stay, very spacious, clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed, wished we had booked for longer. The bath was Devine with a handy little table for my cup of tea. Will definitely stay again, lovely shops, close to beach and great places to eat, you can hear the road outside but fully expected. Thank you

This cosy apartment in Koolunga House was the perfect home-from-home for 5-weeks during a local work placement. The location was ideal, far enough away from the business of Great Yarmouth, but close to local shops, food spots and a walk along the river to Gorleston's lovely sandy beach and cliffs - great for coffee and dog spotting! The house has endless character and the balcony was a dreamy escape - both during the day overlooking the lush garden and dragonflies, and in the evenings for spotting stars and fireworks in the distance. The owners and house manager were a message away and really helpful. I would absolutely stay at Koolunga House again if I’m ever back in the area.✨

We had a wonderful little break here. The chalet is so lovely and clean and a good size for our family of 4 & pooch. It’s well situated with the marina, broads and marshes no on the doorstep. Thank you for having us and we hope to visit again.

Perfect find!! This property was so well decorated and furnished! modern, clean and filled with helpful amenities. It’s a stones throw from the beaches and coastal walk, and the sea can been seen and heard from the bedrooms which made it very relaxing. Ian is a great host! Very responsive and helpful and made sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend and we will be returning!! (FYI there’s another 1 bed small property - same owners I presume - attached to the house from the kitchen that has the back garden, the connecting door is locked though)

What a beautiful place! A group of the girls got together for my 40th, and we had such a lovely time. A couple of things came up, but things that Lee was so quick to respond to, where possible. We didn’t use the games, or TVs, but they have a great selection of games & a TV in each room. We loved the jukebox & the open layout of the downstairs kitchen/diner/lounge. The place feels very tucked away, whilst also being very central, which is great. The welcome wine & snacks were a lovely touch. Thank you!

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

It was a joy to spend a few days and nights in Hannah and Andy's wonderful annexe. It's just like the photos and they've carefully curated the place to create somewhere where you can down tools and relax. Beds are super comfy, the bathroom was lovely, parking was easy but the highlight is the open plan living/dining/kitchen which is a wonderful huge space to eat, chat drink and flop! Just what we needed. It's hugely accessible too, with all the facilities you could want. The crowning glory were our hosts who unobtrusively make sure everything is just as you want your break to be. One of the best Airbnb's I've ever stayed in and we hope to be back soon! Thank you

We had a lovely few days at Mandalay. The kids particularly loved the big field and play area just up the road. We followed Tom’s recommendations and visited Cromer and Happisburgh, along with a day at BeWILDerwood.

We really enjoyed our stay at Laura's place! The home was in a great location right by the seafront, with just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It was very clean, very well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Communication was easy with Laura and she was responsive to messages. We will look to book here again if we return to Cromer in the future!

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's! Filippa was an excellent host, always quick to respond to our messages. The barn was thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of different spaces for everyone to relax or socialise. Our children especially enjoyed spotting Clogs the goat and the horses each morning.

Loved Loved Loved our stay in beach house. It is an amazing location- so close to the sea and beach and listening to the waves 24/7 is amazing. The weather was so kind to us even though it was February- we saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets . The house is warm and cosy and very homely , and pets are welcome. We would definitely book again. We had a fabulous stay here. Jan and Mark had thought of everything. The location was ideal for lots of outside activities and Bungay was a delight.

This was a perfect bolt hole for a winter break, the apartment was warm and cosy, and the views of the sea and the town magnificent. I had everything I needed for a very comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing stay.

We had a lovely stay at Verity’s. The apartment was exactly as in the photos provided and Verity was very helpful (including her recommendations of the nearby places of interest, such as Blickling Estate, which is a National Trust site) and communicative in the lead up to our stay. The location is quiet, serene, peaceful and private. The French doors from the bedroom provide an exquisite view of the little river and its green surroundings. Loved the sauna, however, didn’t try for a dip in the river (February visit!). Booking a massage if you have the time, is highly recommended. Book ahead at the Walpole pub next door, as they may close the restaurant if they get too busy. If you approach with the pub on the right, there are 2 driveways on the left. Verity’s is the one directly next to the road.

A lot of care and thought has gone into setting up this place. Well equipped kitchen, toys and boards games for children of various ages (ours were especially delighted by the giant box of Lego and the star projector), tasteful decor and views from the windows. You can see the beach from the windows - it was that close! Also many other less crowded beaches within 15-30 minutes drive nearby. We were very impressed and had a very comfortable stay. Emma was friendly and helped us with parking and check in. Thank you Emma!

Nestled in the heart of Cromer the LNBH was a cosy, very comfortable and welcoming home from home. An awful lot of care and attention has gone into the decor and feel of the property. The clever use of the space and all the interesting details all add to the overall ambiance. The view, especially in the morning, is heartwarming. Everything you need is virtually on the doorstep. And the north Norfolk coast is a short drive away. We will definitely return.

Our stay at Sea Mist was exceptional. The property was pristine, inside and out. Elaine was brilliant at communicating with us from start to finish. We really appreciated the extras that we didn’t expect, cake, crumpets, milk, orange juice etc, thank you so much. We also appreciated the kindness that Elaine showed, knowing we had booked as a party of 3 to include our beloved dog, only to have lost him suddenly due to illness, prior to our stay, Elaine made sure that doggie items were not visible during our trip. We hope to come back and stay again, we have stayed in many places in Winterton and this is by far the best place for 2 that we have been to. Highly recommend.

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.
