The place was great, very roomy and clean; it would have been nice to have a BBQ on the premises, nice backyard area to have one.

Amazing location. It’s an old beach shack so expect an old building. But air conditioning in the living room kept the place comfortable, everything you need for a cook up provided, beach is crystal clear, quiet and safe and location is 10/10.

We were an extended family of nine and one dog - ages 4 to 70 and spent four days at Richard's beach house. We found it to be a perfect place for a relaxing, fun filled holiday. The location was superb - fantastic beach and landscape views from all windows - absolute beachfront with easy beach access was the highlight. Walking distance to multiple playgrounds, cafes and fantastic pub - Victoria Hotel. The configuration of the rooms was perfect for a large family or multiple families. Beds were clean and comfortable. Multiple well furnished living areas were great for group or individual relaxation. Kitchen is large and well stocked. It is exactly as described - a comfortable, welcoming, cosy, no fuss beach shack with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. Huge yard and back gate access was convenient for our multiple cars and great area for games and recreation. Thank you Richard - we really enjoyed our time at your house.

The house is close to everything with great views of the bay and a handy walking path. Also the restaurant next door was excellent. It is comfortable and in a great position . We would stay again

Maria was there to welcome us which is always nice and appreciated. the room was lovely clean and tidy very comfortable bed. Maria made us breakfast a wonderful little extra and she was happy to chat to us which we liked plus the beach is across the road. thanks Maria.

My brother-in-law and myself stayed here for a weekend, and loved the place. The location is peaceful and tranquil, surrounded by a sense of escaping your daily grind. The cottage was lovely, as described in photos, with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and cozy living area. We sat outside and chatted, watched enjoyed the stars, and enjoyed the services at the village. There were kayaks which we made use of, the creek on the property that we went fishing on, and bicycles which we took for a ride. The Lucky bay brewery was 4 mins drive or 11mins cycle away, and short drive to the main town. The place was spotless, and felt very homely, and we will hopefully come back soon with our families. We enjoyed two relaxing stays in the Beach Cottage, two nights on the way to Esperance and three nights on our return journey. The location is very convenient to walk to the town centre and to the town beach and wharf.

Sue's place was exceptional. We loved every bit of our stay there and would definitely stay there again. The house has been renovated to a high standard with lots of thoughtful details. Our stay coincided with the weather being in the high 30's but the AC was superb. The house would be cool within 30 minutes and remained at whatever temperature we chose giving a very comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and the king size bed we used was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The main bathroom was spacious with shower and full size bath. There is another shower and toilet in the house (with retro doors and decor that gave a great sense of the age of the house) which we imagine would come in handy for larger groups. We also loved that it was pet friendly and were able to take our dog, who enjoyed his time there as much as us. Sue was a great host and we can't rate her and her house highly enough. Thank you Sue

A terrific family home with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, great living space. Beautiful outdoor entertaining area, fantastic for our kids and dog. Scott went out of his way to accommodate us, and has been very helpful throughout our stay.

Jo and Guy were excellent to communicate with and did everything they could to make our staff member comfortable and very much at home. Lovely to deal with and would have no hesitation in booking this property again. They could not have been more helpful

We loved our stay in Penneshaw, and Western Rest was the perfect base. The pub was great and walking distance to Jan's. Fully stocked kitchen. The view was spectacular! would definitely stay again.

This place will not disappoint. Prime location. Close to the Elliot Hotel, the best bakery in the world and walk to the beach. Comfortable beds, clean, spacious and well maintained. Perfect if you have kids and need space. We are so glad we stumbled across this gem. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The kids loved all the board games, you have thought of everything. We will be back!!!!

Thanks so much for our stay. The house was perfect for our family getaway. Very well equip and all amenities as described plus the little touches that mean a lot, like fresh farm eggs in the fridge on arrival. Our favourite part was the deck for sunsets and beautiful view overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend. Thanks again!
