Family-friendly vacation rentals in Grandville

Beautiful home with a beautiful and peaceful setting. Host supplied a lot of amenities and everything was as described in the listing and photos. Our family really enjoyed our time together and all our children ages 10 down to one, had a lot of fun. The games in the basement kept them entertained as well as the path through the woods with the log cabin, TP and oversized chair.

This little house was the perfect winter getaway. The space was extremely comfortable and inviting. We loved the hot tub and outdoor area. Honesty one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. And to top it off we had a perfect winter snow.

This house was the best I have ever rented! the house is beautiful and extremely well equipped. There were more items in this kitchen than I have in my own! We had 8 guests total and there was plenty of room for us to spread out during our stay. Stephanie was very responsive, always answering my questions early. She was also able to accommodate an early check in, which helped us out! I can't say enough good things about this property and the rental process. I hope to visit this area again in the summer when I will be able to take advantage of the beach a bit more and I won't even be looking around for another rental. This house was perfect! If you are deciding between this house, or another, let me say-DO IT, it's the best!

Really enjoyed our time here. It was quiet with gorgeous views off the back porch, and still just a short drive to town. Would stay again.

Nick was a wonderful host. He was very communicative. The Beach was a block away. The community shares the steps. We had a diverse set of ages, ranging from 4 years old to mid sixties. House was clean and well stocked. Nice outdoor space. We made use of the hot tub and the fire pit in the backyard. Overall, we had a great time being together in a beautiful area of the country.

The River Groove was a wonderful place to spend the New Year for our Anniversary. The vibe of the whole place is so peaceful, inviting and every space is well thought out. Pictures for sure do not do the place justice. Rob was always available any time. The fireplace and hot tub are easy to use and really add a lot to the experience. Super easy to walk to any paths heading to Oval Beach. Easy to drive downtown for food and shopping. The house is so awesome. Felt like being in a spa. Would definitely stay here any time we come to Saugatuck! Thank you so much and Happy New Year!

This is our 3rd stay at Steve and Lori’s loft condo. Perfect for our needs for Homecoming/Parents weekend at Hope College. Unique doesn’t do it justice in description. It comes with an awesome story. The condo is perfect in every way. Kitchen is filled with every gadget, beds are very comfortable, sitting areas are comfy & cozy, outside deck with hot tub is private and spacious, location on 8th Street is optimal for dining, shopping and entertainment. We will stay again and again.

We loved our stay at Fennvilla. The property was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, walking the property and the tree swing. The house was well furnished - beds were comfortable and linens were nice quality! Kitchen was well stocked. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!

Kym’s place was perfect for our stay in Grand Rapids. Kym is a very responsive host and always responded in a few minutes. The space was just as described. Very comfortable and quiet. Perfect location to access downtown GR.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful week at Herrington Cottage. It was clean, peaceful, welcoming, and had everything we needed. We felt safe and at home. The cottage itself is beautiful and the perfect size for a getaway. The surrounding property is wonderful and sits right on a lake. The drive up to the property is also lovely. This cottage is the perfect place to reconnect with yourself and loved ones, and a great space for a peaceful and quiet getaway in nature. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a space to reconnect and recharge. It was truly worth every penny and we are looking forward to when we can come back! (Hopefully in the fall to see the leaves change.) Thank you so much for opening your cottage to us. We are both so grateful.

I had a great time at Jessica's place. It's perfect for resting, working from home, and going for a walk at nearby parks and state park next to the Michigan Lake (less than 15min drive!). Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area.

My friends and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at Tracy's place. It was so peaceful and private. Amazing view of the river and stars at night. The home was equally as beautiful and had everything we needed. A lot of good beaches and places to explore near by.

The pictures don’t do it justice, you have to stay there to really see how gorgeous it is.. it was so extremely peaceful and welcoming pulling up. I arrived at night and there were two Christmas trees already lit that looked so beautiful at the main house. I would absolutely stay here again, the location is absolutely beautiful and just what I needed!

Our recent stay in Saugatuck was delightful. The location was fantastic, with easy access to charming coffee shops, art galleries, and an excellent selection of restaurants and bars. The accommodation was cozy and inviting, perfect for a quiet escape from the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our winter getaway and will be back to Saugatuck soon!

The Miner house was perfect for our family vacay. Just as pictured and described, we were tickled to find it decorated all in a fall theme. We loved the location- 10 min to beach, groceries, downtown museums, or restaurants. Tucked away in a cozy quiet neighborhood, no loud music, no sirens, no traffic noise, we felt very safe. The cleaning was perfect & spotless- no pet fur, no dust, no crumbs. The kitchen had EVERYTHING (and more) that we needed to cook multiple times daily. The dining space is in the kitchen, worked good for 5 of us, might be cramped for more. Upstairs doesn't have a door, which was fine with two kids up there, but a heads up if expecting more privacy. The yard was great- clean (no dog poo) and perfect set up for bonfires, grilling, dining, relaxing. The host has thought of pretty much everything. This was the best prepared home I've stayed at. Highly recommend.

This is our first choice evertime we stay in Grand Rapids.

We had a great time here. The condo is in a good location and very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t utilize the pool or hot tub but we did scope it out. It looks like a great area to watch the boats come in and out of the harbor.

The area of Saugatuk and Douglas is fabulous with a lot of cafes and restaurants. The town is very quaint and picturesque. A lot of great farm to table restos and a wonderful farmer's market. The place was gorgeous with a pool. And a lot of towels for swimming. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals. The "baby suite" was especially nice with a fridge in the basement. And the rooms upstairs had a master bedroom with en suite bathroom. Another smaller room and a room with bunk beds share a bathroom. The shower heads were great! Nice fluffy beddings and we all slept well with lots of privacy between families and kids. The living room and kitchen were very nice with enough room for kids to play and great for dinners and breakfast. Great patio area for reading, working and relaxing by the pool. We had a wonderful family stay! Our home away from home. Very relaxing and we loved staying at this house. We'll be back!

We absolutely loved staying here for a girls weekend. The house is styled so well, incredibly clean, and very spacious. When they say the kitchen is fully stocked, they mean it, it has everything you need. We would absolutely come back here in a heartbeat!

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

Great home for a retreat weekend with plenty of space for our large group. Hosts did an amazing job at providing recommendations for things to do nearby and had clear instructions for check in/out. I wish the area was a little more walkable, but overall an amazing weekend!

Wow is all I can say! The view of the Kalamazoo River from Villa 730 is unreal. The luggage trolley was so helpful as there are stairs folks to the 700 level !!! Nick was able to give us one parking spot “in upper level” that left only 10 stairs to climb (we had 3 physical impaired ladies with us). Game changer. The staff that runs every item here is outstanding and are your friends by the time you leave:) I can see that once the Ferry starts operation on Memorial Day the ability to cross the Kalamazoo and be smack dab in town for amazing restaurants, shopping is awesome- We had to drive 7 min to get to other side of River. Oh yes!! Oval beach (dunes-beach on Lake Michigan) is drop dead gorgeous- just a couple miles further from Hilltop. Coming back with da hubby ;))) Thanks Nick! So responsive , so accommodating
