We LOVED staying at Chris’s place! It was such a short drive to art galleries, breweries, brunch and dinner spots, and Lake Michigan. The space was so cozy but spacious, and it was perfect to return from a cold day out and get in the hot tub. Chris’s recs did not disappoint, even in the dead of winter. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone!

The cabin is just as beautiful as the pictures and offered such a peaceful retreat! The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore both South Haven and Saugatuck. Our group of 7 had plenty of space, with more than enough room for sleeping. The games were a fantastic bonus, and the kids especially enjoyed spending time in the basement. We had an amazing stay!

Loved staying here with our family and pups. The yard is super spacious for our pups and kids, the hot tub was great even in the cold weather and the house perfect for our family. Small touches around the house were appreciated as we had forgotten toothpaste and everything was stocked. Communication was easy and prompt. The location is convenient and close to all the fun. We would stay here again. Thanks!

We had the perfect getaway! The house is in a great location, quiet neighborhood with tons to do in the area. The hot tub was so nice to relax in at the end of the day. We’d definitely stay again!

My mom, sister, and I stayed here for our ladies weekend. It was very cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Plenty to do in the area - wineries, cidery, lavender farm, etc. The perfect place for our getaway! We highly recommend.

Comfy, cozy home about a 15-minute walk to downtown South Haven. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We would stay here again!

Wally so generously had the cottage ready earlier than expected. Picking up the keys at the gallery was simple and convenient with the cottage so close by. The cottage is quaint, cozy and beautifully appointed with colorful art and unique items. The location is right in town, so we didn't need to use our vehicle during our stay and only did so to explore the surrounding area. The cottage has an enclosed small yard area, which was great as we brought our small dog. There are great shops and restaurants within a few blocks. During our stay I looked at the Airbnb website to check availability for the summer! I highly recommend Dumela Cozy Cottage!

Absolutely loved our stay. House had plenty of room and a very open kitchen, dining and living room yo hang out. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Lots of wildlife in the backyard- deer, turkeys, birds, so it made it a really unique experience. Place was clean and well-stocked. Would love to come back!

We stayed at Romain’s place in Spring Lake for a few nights in November. This location was perfect for us. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Quiet streets that are great for dog walks! The cottage was well designed, super comfortable, and warm and cozy during some snow storms that came through. It was really nice sitting in the cottage and watching the snow fall with the view of the lake in the background. Romain was helpful and responsive. There is a grocery store, few restaurants and a bakery 4 minutes away. The cottage is also a short walk to a small public beach on Spring Lake. This area was cozy during winter months and I’m sure would be fun and lively during summer months. There is a big back yard. WiFi was good. I would recommend this place!

This cozy cottage was the perfect spot for the end of summer trip my family and I were looking for. It offered a beautiful view of the lake ( some of the best sunsets too) the private beach is walkable and very clean. Around the property are several family friendly attractions like double JJ ranch and Lewis farms that my kids enjoyed immensely. Danielle was an excellent host and offered great instructions to ensure we knew what to do on property and that we had all we needed. Overall an amazing family trip that we’ll plan for again.

We had a great family getaway for an evening to celebrate a 40th birthday!

We loved our stay- this place was the perfect blend of secluded cabin vibe with modern furniture, an amazing fire place, and super close to things to do. Saugatuck is an adorable town only 5-10 mins from the cabin, and Holland is not far. We loved having the windows open and just seeing woods, something we don’t get in Chicago. The bed was comfortable, hot water worked, kitchen well-stocked with essentials. Will definitely be back. If you actually follow the directions they send you the cabin is easy to find :). We went too far and ended up at the white gate which goes to Mark’s house. He was super friendly and corrected us on our way :).

Party of 10 stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights for a fishing charter on Lake Michigan. The views of Lake Allegan were gorgeous with beautiful sunsets and sun rises. The only thing that we felt that cabins sat quite high above the shoreline with a steep set of stairs down to the lake. That was fine for most of us, but it was a bit difficult for the elderly in our group. It is very possible this was included in the listing description, and we just missed it. Anyway, everything worked out fine, and everyone enjoyed themselves grilling, sitting by the fire, swimming, and kayaking. Kendal was excellent every step of the way. Highly recommend!

If you want a serene setting to enjoy peace and quiet with spectacular sunsets over a beautiful lake, this is it! Aaron’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway and conveniently located within a five minute drive from downtown Hastings. Clean space, comfortable bed and all the little extras from charger cords to paddle boards to cozy fireplace (and did I mention spectacular sunsets?)!!! Don’t hesitate on this one. Highly recommend!

The little yellow cottage was simply charming. Great for families or just an adult getaway. The views are phenomenal!! Lynn was such an amazing host and truly made our stay!
