A very comfortable place, three bedrooms, four beds, two full bathrooms, very equipped kitchen, washer, TVs, everything you need for your stay. Lurdes is wonderful, great proactive communication and responsive, very kind person. The house is in a very quiet street with small and nice restaurants just a block away. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in São Romão or Seia area. Thanks to Lurdes for being so attentive and letting us stay at your very nice place.

The house & location is in a very small village up in the North of Portugal. Perfect getaway for us coming from a busy part of Portugal! We enjoyed our stay at the place, and highly recommend it to anyone considering booking. It was clean, super spacious & had a trampoline & small climbing course for my kids!

The house is big and very charming, with beautiful old furniture, fireplaces, a big kitchen and a big garden (with orange trees and donkeys coming by). At the same time, everything has been renovated, so the bathrooms etc are very modern. There is a bakery and a small shop next door, but the village is very quiet. We really loved our stay in Joao's house - it was much more than expected and we would gladly come back one day! Thank you!

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

We loved the stay! The house had all the amenities to spend a quiet and comfortable weekend. Mr. João was always very attentive.

Inês and Miguel are excellent hosts. From the first moment they quickly responded to our message and were proactive. At the in-person check-in, they explained in detail how the house works and gave useful tips for tours in the mountains and nearby restaurants. The house, old but very well maintained, is a charm. The bath is warm and the heating (via fireplace, on the ground floor, and salamander, at the top) made our stay very comfortable on cold winter days.

Manuela's communication is assertive and very clear in the information provided. The house is extremely clean, well organized and is quite comfortable. The very easy check-in. The very calm and quiet area. Very well located, has the Bus terminal and market near the house. Theater, museum, various historical moments to visit the Foot. I recommend it and will be back!

Marisa, great , explained everything perfect! The apartment is small but cozy, clean and has everything you need. The only bad thing is that you hear too much noise from the other neighbors when it comes to sleeping. The location is nice but far from everything , if or if you have to go with a car . There's not much to do there . But Serra da Estrela is very nice , the views are spectacular, I would come back when I'm sure there will be snow , it must be wonderful.

Lovely place with a lot of space on the outside terrace , which also has a great view of the mountains .

It was a fantastic stay, in a different space but very cozy and perfect to escape the city. The home was beautiful and so was all the common spaces. The great pool and perfect for relaxing in privacy and in the middle of nature. Thank you ☺️

We booked for 8 people and had the entire villa, but there were only 3 bedrooms in the main villa. An additional bedroom with its own kitchen was offered separately. The separate room was amazing, but it would’ve been better if this setup was mentioned in the listing. The property was very clean and exceeded expectations. Carlos, our host, was helpful and quickly resolved a short circuit and fire alarm issue, even providing extra wood for the fireplace to compensate. On checkout day, the water pipes froze, leaving us without water. Carlos responded quickly, but it delayed our plans as we checked out late. This was inconvenient, and I hope measures are taken to avoid this in winter. Despite these issues, the stay was great, and I would return. Clearer communication in the listing and winter-proofing would make this property perfect!

My family and I (wife and two kids (13 and 16) spent three days over Chistmas at the house. it was the absolute perfect place to spend the holidays. The house is very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for us to prepare the full Véspera and Christmas Day meals. There is even a local bread delivery service and the legendary Sera da.estrela mountain cheese made from local sheep available close by. Loriga is a beautiful mountain town and should not to be missed. From the beginning Senhor Tiago was extremely helpful and friendly. We are so grateful to have been able to spend our Christmas in such a fantastic location. We can't recommend this house more highly!!!!

Our stay was 5 stars—if not 6! The place is absolutely amazing! peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful green space. I was genuinely surprised by the huge garden outside as it was much bigger and nicer than I expected, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air. The jacuzzi was a perfect touch super relaxing after a day of exploring. The house itself is spacious, full of natural light, and offers a stunning view of Serra da Estrela. The living room has huge windows that make the space feel open and connected to nature, and the bedroom is so cozy and quiet you could easily sleep all day. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The host was incredibly nice and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit and eat, and we absolutely loved the cheese and wine he gifted us, such a thoughtful and delicious surprise! We truly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature.

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.
