Stunning home 70m from the beach

A wonderful 4 days away over Christmas, with family and dogs. The beach was within walking distance and it was a pleasure to go walking there with the family. We were there over. Christmas and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking our Christmas lunch. Esther was very welcoming and replied very promptly to the one question that we did have for her regarding the property. We would rent the property again, it was lovely and well equipped, but the best thing about t was the access to the beach. Thanks Esther

This house was lovely, perfect for a slightly larger group of people. The beach is two minutes away and there are pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Jade was so responsive and told us in advance about how to get enough hot water for all of the guests. Even over the new year she responded so quickly. We absolutely loved it

The Loft is a lovely little spot within 3 minutes to East Wittering beach on a private road. It was absolutely lovely; quiet and out of the way but super easy to nip out for a walk or a bite to eat. It being so close to the beach was ideal as my son loves swimming and it was nice to be able to pop out and do that within a few minutes (particularly if you’ve the motivation in the moment to brave the cold water). Karen was super-flexible with my extending the stay by a day at last minute notice (my work situation fluctuates) and I really appreciate how proactive her communication was. I would definitely use the Loft again, we had a lovely time.

Our stay was idyllic! the house is perfect, modern and homely feel. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed. The views are stunning. The house is right on the beach so a great location. Local amenities was great, 2 minute walk to the local convenience and restaurants. We will definately rebook, thats a 1st for us, definately recommend this stay.

Fantastic place right near the beach and nature reserve. Shop, restaurants and pubs all walkable. Didn't use my car at all during my stay. Great communication and easy instructions. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful, nature enjoying stay. The fact that the sun shone all weekend also helped 😉

I loved this spot. If I come to Brighton again I would love to stay at Meghan’s. Accurate listing, very walkable, and very clean. She went above and beyond with champagne waiting for us. Hate to rate this one as it is a hidden gem, but she deserves it.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" I can't think of anything else that any potential guest would need to know above the information on Airbnb and reviews already left.

We booked it because of the location which was perfect for walking, birdwatching and nearby amenities and to catch up with family in the area. The Annexe itself looked great from the pictures and did not disappoint - we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The close proximity to Storrington meant it was easy to eat out and to shop without taking the car and the garden area behind was great for just sitting and relaxing. Martin and Lisa were the perfect hosts and provided plenty of information and advice when needed. We would certainly recommend the Vine Keeper's Annexe and hope to return.
