House vacation rentals in Golden Point

We had an incredible stay here! There were seven of us, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is full of charm and perfectly situated in a central location, making it easy to walk into town and explore local cafes and restaurants. The house provided a wonderful, inviting atmosphere, complete with a spacious living area with exceptionally comfortable beds. On warm days we opened the wide patio doors expanding our living space even more. Monique was a kind and attentive host, ensuring we had everything we needed. We would all love to return to this house on our next trip to Ballarat.

We stayed at David’s Airbnb for the long weekend and loved our stay. Fresh flowers and chocolates were left as a lovely welcome, the house was spotless and has everything you could ask for. The pool was perfect for the hot weekend we had too. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had such a wonderful experience at Jeremy and Kylie's place. Had all the amenities we needed for a perfect stay. The property was even more stunning in person. Beautifully decorated and clean throughout the house. Such a beautiful house in a nice neighborhood. The highlight for us was the pool, had perfect temps throughout our stay. It was very relaxing to unwind after exploring the town. Good WiFi speeds and the study room is ideal for a WFH session if needed. The Sonos gear and Spotify-connect speakers on Alfresco, Dining and Pool areas were a nice touch. Close proximity to cafes, restaurants and most attractions in Ballarat. We'd love to return again for a longer stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay near Ballarat.

Lucy's home was just amazing. Everything we wanted to see and do was close by, though we had such a quiet and serene location away from the hustle and bustle. It was great coming home from a fun day out to have a swim in the outdoor above ground pool and then relax on the sun lounges. We had fun playing tennis and basketball on the full sized court in the yard and sitting in the alfresco area at dinnertime. Every detail was thought out well, from the beautfiul linens, abundant quality towels and toiletries, fragrant candles and quality furnishings. We would love to come back one day again.

We had a wonderful time at Catherine’s place. It was beautiful, comfortable, well located, and great for both adults and kids. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had (amongst many). Highly recommend!

My family and I absolutely loved the place. We wanted to spend most of our trip in the house rather than exploring other places.

A Truly Memorable Stay! From the very first moment, we felt an incredible sense of comfort. The house is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged — the perfect escape from the routine of daily life. There were so many things to do, from the pool and yoga studio to fun games like cards, puzzles, and billiards. But honestly, what made the experience truly special was our host. She welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and checked in every morning with a smile. The kids had a blast — especially getting to feed the animals. It felt less like a rental and more like visiting family. We stayed for two wonderful days, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, especially families with kids looking for a warm, memorable getaway.

Great spot for a holiday! Highlights included tennis and mountain biking. Alex’s house is clean and comfortable.

Gerry & Jenni's place is one of the nicest AirB&B homes I've ever stayed in. It is a beautiful period cottage with very tasteful furnishings and fittings, very well suited to the house, as well as a very pretty garden and outdoor area. They were also very thoughtful in providing many of the essentials (tea, coffee, milk, bread, etc.) that guests need when they first arrive at a property, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms also had everything we needed. I can't recommend this house strongly enough for anyone wanting a really comfortable stay in Ballarat.

Amazing place and great host. It was very late when we arrived at Cath's place and found it hard to locate the house in the dark. But Cath was too nice to jump out of the bed and help us find it and even offered her help to carry our bags and stuff inside. we felt very welcomed and had a wonderful time. Had a great time with Cath's dogs too. They were very friendly and playful. Definitely recommend to anyone wants some peaceful time.

We loved our stay at Michael and Cate’s. The mid-century interiors were really charming and Michael was a great host who said hello on arrival, shared tips and was always responsive.

Clean, roomy home. As described. Peaceful surroundings and walkable park. Close to shops and easy drive to shops for grocery. Not too far from town or attractions. Family friendly. Responsive host and super friendly. We had fun with the kids in this home. We were very comfortable with 6 adults and 3 kids. Thank you Kate!

Lovely house for our family close to supermarket and a nice 10 minute walk to the Mall. Only suggestion I would make is to have an outdoor dining table to dine outside when using BBQ.

I visited from out of state, so initially finding the place was a slight mystery as maps wanted me to make some illegal turns. However, once I found it getting back everyday was super easy. The place is exactly as shown in the listing, very spacious, clean, quiet, and worth the money. I would highly recommend it to others!

This is a great little place, in a lovely part of Ballarat. It's really close to the town centre, and across the road from a terrific old-school neighbourhood pub. The house is really nicely appointed and maintained. I'm really happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a base for their Ballarat visit.

We absolutely loved our stay in Creswick. The house was extremely spacious and had amazing amenities and a beautiful kitchen and living area that was perfect for spending time together. The view from the house was gorgeous and made it feel extra special and private, with the bonus of it still being in a quiet residential street. We found Creswick to be perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The supermarket, cafes and restaurants were really nice (special mention to the French bakery/cafe) and had everything we needed. Creswick was also the perfect base camp for us to explore Daylesford and Castlemaine during the day. We cannot recommend this stay enough!

We wanted a homely experience and that is exactly what we got. Comfortable, great location and suited what we needed. My mum picked this as her first foray into the Air bnb world and she was happy

Wow wow wow!! Words just aren’t enough to describe this amazing place. It’s so much better than the photos, such a feast for the eyes. Each room was so tastefully decorated and full of amazing trinkets. The little extras in the kitchen and bathrooms and insane lush towels were superb. The fresh flowers and candles and lamps on to greet us was super special. The glassware made you feel so fancy drinking out of them. We made sure to have a special different occasion in each of the sitting rooms which just added to the excitement of the weekend, even sitting outside in the evening felt like we were in Italy or a stunning English garden. Just absolutely loved every part of it and would highly recommend to anyone. Amazing!!!!!

This place is amazing, exactly as described. Big beautiful space, very comfortable beds and even has extra pillows 😍 Very convenient location, place is easy to find. I highly recommend staying here, and the host, Luke, is very friendly, easy to communicate with. Could not find a single fault with our stay and would definitely stay here again when we're in the area next. 11/10 ⭐
