Porfirio's apartment was the perfect location for a week-long work trip at the University. I specifically looked for a place with minimal street noise, which is often hard to find in the San Jose metropolitan area. As a single female traveler, safety is an important concern. The location, with a guard at the street entrance, and a secure entry system, helped me feel very safe. The space was perfect for my needs with high ceilings, great cross-ventilation, and nice views. The kitchen is nicely equipped and there are numerous markets within a short walk.

Don Enrique is very kind and attentive to solve any inconvenience. The place is clean, conditioned with everything you need and very well located. It is a walking distance to different UCR estates: 5 minutes from the City of Research, 10 from the Sports and 25 minutes from the building of the administrative office.

Fernando was a very good host. He was there waiting for me when I arrived and walked me through the house. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. There is no air conditioner in the condo but the open window allowed comfort through the day and the nights were very cool. There is a train close by but it did not cause us any issues. If these are negatives they are just very slight as they cause us no issues at all. Now the location. This trip was for pure relaxation. The condo was very comfortable. The neighbor was just what I wanted to experience. Every morning to get up early and walk the 40 yards to the pulperia and bakery for breakfast. Amazing friendly neighbors and the mountain back drop. The very secure building. The 400 yard walk to Walmart if I needed something bigger. The bus to San José or the 1600 colones taxi ride to downtown San Jose from cinco esquinas. You will not find restaurants within walking distance but between the pulperia and Walmart we were able to buy ingredients to cook most meals. The kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook and serve. I was there for 5 nights and it was my most relaxing visit to San Jose. Usually I stay at hotels downtown. Here I was able to feel comfortable and relax. My next visits will be right back here. I have recommended it to my friends. Ernest Carmona

The accommodation is very central and in a very quiet and beautiful area. The room is quite ventilated, comfortable, there is silence, privacy and the kindness shown makes you feel like home. Would definitely recommend.

I have stayed in this house in Sabanilla many times and it is always an excellent experience. It is a very comfortable place, well equipped and in a quiet location, ideal for resting. Hosts are responsive and keep everything spotless. 100% recommended!

This was my third visit, staying with Osamah. As always, he and his wife are the perfect hosts! They make you feel right at home and go out of their way to make things comfortable and accommodating. We had a last minute emergency and the Airbnb where my traveling companion was booked fell through and Osamah helped him by proving an additional room at the last minute which worked out even better than our original plan. They have recently also renovated the upper floor and everything is clean, bright and functional. I will be so happy to return to this location many times in the future.

This was a great place to stay. We used it as a long-term rental and were so happy with the proximity to neighborhood amenities and friendly neighbors. A wonderful Costa Rican experience.

Just pure 10/10! Very homey feeling, great attention to detail, cozy place with great energy. Amanities are nice and new, kitchen well equiped and I appreciated work station as well. Everuthing was spotless clean. This are is not quite but this apartment has quite good sound isolation for this building (I stayed in multiple apartments in URBN). Other then that building has great amenities and this is probably the most vibrant part of San Jose. I’m grateful for Sergio’s flexibility, he was easy to communicate with. Would be happy to come back!

Amazing location, safe clean lots of restaurants. Great gym and pool. Barrio Escalante and tje URBN building are very safe and friendly.

Views of the city are beautiful and there are great restaurant options nearby. Getting in and out of the parking garage is a tight fit so take your time. The condo is clean and well furnished. The doormen who work in the lobby are friendly and helpful. Borders a nice residential neighborhood (Freses) and there are cafes, restaurants, a park, and a grocery within walking distance. Would recommend this as a great place to use as a hub to explore the eastern central valley - easy access to highway to get around and out of town. Great rental!

Great location. Easy walk to Avenida Escazu or a cheap Uber ride anywhere. Pool and common area are beautiful as well as the view from the condo. The 2nd bedroom was a little smaller than I expected but it had no factor on the comfort. Highly recommended.

Great stay in San Jose, we didn't want to leave the 🥹 very clean accommodation, tv with YouTube and Netflix, full of spices for cooking (unheard of), very comfortable bed, large window with views of the city and the hills behind... and the best: best bathroom/toilet we had since the beginning of our trips to Central America! Very clean, hot water, great shower pressure. The bonus: washing machine and dryer with laundry detergent (pure happiness). To find the apartment you can ask the parking guard he will tell you the entrance to the subdivision, it is very simple 😊

Our family of 3 loved this condo. It was so clean and well equipped for our 5 day stay. Great location with a beautiful park across the street, cafes and restaurants. Very quiet building. We will definitely return. Thanks again!
