This house and Niki were both fantastic. Even without the pool in the backyard it would have been perfect for our reunion gathering; with the pool, and the long table for outdoor meals, it was beyond our expectations. Communication with Niki was easy, timely, and super-clear. Fun, even. Our group has no complaints and nothing but praise. If you want your small-to-medium sized group to gather together in the South Orange area, this place is for you!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—easy to catch an Uber back and forth into the city, but also surrounded by great food options that stay open late. The hot tub was a fantastic touch, especially in the winter, and we can only imagine how amazing it would be in the summer! The host was super helpful and friendly, always responding quickly whenever we had a question. Overall, a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again!

This home was perfect for my siblings and their kiddos to meet up for a nice long weekend. Kerry made us feel very welcomed and was super responsive when we had questions. The sunroom was one of my favorite places in the house. The kids enjoyed playing both outdoors and indoors. The neighborhood was quiet and the kitchen was stocked. Just a short drive to the mall and plenty of places to eat. We would gladly stay again.

I don’t have enough words to describe how good of experience this was, for the first time i would say that the pictures showed less that what this home is, this home is huge, gorgeous and have everything that could possible need. My family was very very happy, the access was easy, very clean and Chris was a supper host. We forgot our passport and he was so attentive to speak to us and made sure to send it in the mail. He saved our lives there, that meant a lot for us. We would definitely coming back. honestly, one of the best places that i stayed. If you choose this home i bet you anything you will not regret :)

Me and My Family stayed @ Alex & Vannie's House for a second time and we had a great time again . they are friendly and reliable and took care of us . my daughter always enjoy the pool when we come here . their home is clean and comfortable and the area was quiet if you want to get some relaxing days I'd recommend to stay here .

We had a wonderful holiday stay at Jake’s beautifully maintained historic property. The house is spacious and fully updated, with a charming, rambling layout and bonus spaces like a separate garage and studio. The picturesque grounds, with unique water features and wooded areas, provided a serene backdrop for our visit. The kitchen was highly functional and perfect for preparing family meals, and the modern, spotless bathrooms added to the comfort. The standout was the master wing, offering privacy, style, a luxurious soaking tub, and a cozy gas fireplace in the bedroom. The quiet neighborhood is close to a great grocery store (5-6 minutes away). While there are no sidewalks, daylight walks were enjoyable, with nearby destinations to explore. Jake has created a welcoming, contemporary space within a historic home, making it an ideal home base for visiting family or friends. It’s a great place to gather, share meals, and enjoy quiet entertaining.

Great place to stay. This was the perfect place for our group to stay for a Christmas New York Trip. Host even had the house decorated for Christmas. Easy walk to the 154x bus that is a 25 min ride to the Port Authority. Street parking with a parking pay stall just around the corner at the library super easy and convenient.

Our 3 week stay with Judy went as smoothly as we could possibly have hoped. Judy is an excellent host and went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. Meghan and Dan, i cannot say enough wonderful things about your home. Perfect place to recoup from surgery. This is a pristine home. This is not an ordinary place, they took a lot of care in choosing everything. I even mentioned these are not “ curtains “ or average linen. This is true upholstery, textiles that are soft and last! The Rattan carpets Matched well with the decor. I would definitely recommend staying for any reason! I would call it a very American Cottage! Worth every penny and solitude! Thank you again

Patricia was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. She was extremely quick to respond, very friendly and provided us with great information about the area. Very walkable to go to grocery store, drug store and nearby restaurants. The apartment was exactly what we needed for our extended stay. Very comfortable, clean, great location, nicely furnished and exactly as described. We will definitely stay again!

This property really felt like a home away from home. I hosted many family members during my retirement celebration weekend. Everyone was comfortable. The home is clean and a great location for shopping, highway, Rutgers etc. The owners live on the premises in a private portion of the bldg. We never saw or heard them. The owners was promptly responsive each time I reached out to them. I truly cannot say one bad thing about this. I definitely would recommend it and stay there again.

We were looking for a place in Bergen County for a family of 5 for a few weeks. The house was perfect for us, with big rooms, equipped kitchen and clean bathrooms. It is in a nice neighborhood, quiet but close to everything we needed. The place felt like home. Ossi was very responsive and easy to communicate. She was very accommodating and was a great help. We highly recommend.

We were a family of 5 visiting New York and enjoyed our stay in lovely, comfortable, clean , quiet accommodation, close to bus route and subway . Enjoyed the use of 4 huge tv screens as well, the photos of apartment matched our expectations. Would definitely recommend staying there.

We LOVED staying in Jennifer's home. The neighborhood was lovely and great for kids. The home was the most "homey" place I've ever stayed. The kids loved every minute of staying there, and honestly were sad to leave. The beds were comfortable, the linens were plenty, the kitchen was well stocked, the temperature control of the home during the crazy temperature fluctuations between winter and spring which was SO helpful. Bathrooms on every floor was so nice, and the sunroom was the most used room in the house. We even got to see a lot of wildlife, which was really fun! The only random caveat I'd give, and this is not a complaint, and just really a helpful tip if you bring young children. Bring or purchase a fence type gate instead of a typical baby gate. We were 6 girls from the Midwest, a perfect location for a weekend getaway to NYC. Subway is close and easy to navigate~ 23 minutes from the house to Times Square (for reference) Tho we almost didn’t even want to leave the house!!!! The space was beautiful, artistic, spacious, and very comfortable. In a friendly neighborhood just off the main strip w lots of restaurants, coffee, groceries, retail. It was fun to call Harlem home for a few days! Hosts were very responsive and helpful with any extra info/help we needed.
