Vacation rentals in Glaciären-Solvinden

This home sits beautifully on a lake. It is modern, clean and fresh and Michael is an incredibly nice host. He cares about the little details in everything from warm lingonberries on arrival, a whole wood basket full of finely chipped wood to the tips he gives us. Private fireplace and own sauna. We saw absolutely amazing northern lights over the lake and our cottage. A great place if you want to stay close to nature and to yourself.

A spectacular place, it had everything in the house, and they also helped us with things for our babies. A 10 for the location, we also saw the Northern Lights from the terrace. Definitely 100% recommended

Great comfortable house with open view to the lake side. Very well maintained and all available in the kitchen for cooking. Beautifull sauna house (which is kept a room temperature all time). Easy access via the road, and you can arrive and leave any hour with the key box. Dog sledge activities close by, easy driving to Nikkaluokta and Abisko for outdoor activities. Possibility to hire ski material at Hojdmeter or snow shoes at Guidetour.

We had a fantastic stay with a group of 6. We had everything we needed, kitchen was well equipped, the house was super cozy and warm. The location is also great because you can easily go onto the lake to watch the aurora and the surrounding nature is stunning. If you have a car, there are many great day trips you can do. Communication was super easy. We loved our stay and would love to come back!

This place is awesome. We walked across the River (10 min) to the village to feed the reindeer and visit the Ice Hotel. We got to see the Aurora and it was magnificent. The space itself is stellar. It’s modern, very clean, has a comfortable couch and beds with a nice deck and fire pit. Gerd is very friendly and responsive. She was there to greet us and send us off. We will stay here if we come back.

A small cabin perfect for a quiet stay and close to nature and tourist attractions. A little paradise... The northern lights, the sun, the walks, the Icehotel, the sled dogs... What more could you ask for. Ida-Marie is very helpful, while being discreet. I loved my 7-night stay. Thank you!

We could definitely recommend Frank's house to stay for a couple of nights. We enjoyed it, however, but we expected to see the house cleaner and tidier. We were afraid to put our things away because then we might not find them among the piles of other things all over the house. If the person who lived before you didn't wash the dishes properly, then if that's important to you, you have to wash them before using. It would be nice to have a cleaner bed with a newer blanket and pillow (even if you put clean bedding over it). After all, it's hygiene. But everything else we liked. It's a pity that we didn't make a hole to jump into the lake after the sauna, because the ice was about 1 meter thick. But we caught a fish (and let it free). We saw an incredible aurora that shone all night. Frank was very friendly. Thank you for this interesting opportunity to spend a few days on the lake in Lapland!
