Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Gimli

Great property and cabin! We had a wonderful time relaxing here, with the surrounding trees and the fire place which was nice. Agree with other reviews, the bed mattress is firm.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. Nancy’s cabin was so cozy but lots of space. The hot tub was our favourite. We had visitors (Deer) that came around in the back. It was beautiful! The indoor fireplace was also a hit. Whether it was warming up with our coffees in the morning or unwinding in the evening. The location was perfect as well. Near the lake but also a 10 minute drive into Gimli. Nancy was responsive and kind. We will definitely be back again! :)

This was our second December weekend at the Little Retreat in the Forest and we loved it even more! Long walks with the dogs in the snowy woods, warming up by the wood stove, making meals in the super well equipped kitchen, and sleeping in the cozy, comfy king bed. There are so many beautiful, generous touches: delicious coffee, a well-stocked woodpile, lots of books and puzzles to do, and Michael even allowed us to stay another night due to a storm that blew in. I didn’t want to come home :)

The house was a great find for our three family Christmas celebration. 4 bedrooms were cozy and clean. The house has more space than it might seem from the pictures. 7 adults, 1 kid and two dogs had enough spots to chill and do their own things without disturbing people around. The territory of the back yard is huge. The owners even decorated it slightly with a snowplow for our visit. The front lawn is also huge, there is a good 50m from the door to the house of the guys in front of us . The owner was sheer hospitality, nothing but friendly and prompt replies to our requests and questions. The kitchen is fully equipped and has enough plates and forks for a large group of people. Appliances were clean. To summarize - great house. Will be back

Walked in and felt right at home, clean space - had everything you could need. Waking distance to Main St. Host was responsive and helpful!

It was a happy surprise that the place was available over the new year's holiday. Chris and Jessica have a modern, comfortable, and clutter-free home with all the essentials needed for a quiet and relaxing stay. It was a bargain over the other listings on short notice during the holidays. The Wi-Fi was appreciated by my husband who needed to get work done while staying there. Lots of places to visit and really enjoyed the surrounding area for wintertime adventuring. They were very easy to speak with and responded very quickly to any questions. The washer & dryer was a lovely plus. Got lost in the incredible spaces of the General Store.

Sitting by the fire being able to see Lake Winnipeg right from the window was serene. We felt right at home and are excited to head back for Christmas!

The little blue house was exactly as described and Kolton’s instructions on how to use the tv, hot tub, lock up were so clear and detailed that it was seamless. The out door shower and hot tub were so relaxing to use at the end of the day. The closed in gazebo was perfect for morning coffee and we enjoyed pizza on the deck in the comfy chairs. Helpful restaurant brochures, plenty of towels, air con, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer all supplied, added to making the stay so lovely. The back sliding door is a bit heavy to open and close but that was the only drawback. So much offered in this place that I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Kolton!
