House vacation rentals in Gillespie County

The home was perfect! Our home is under massive construction and we were trying to figure out what to do for the holidays with our 4 adult children and their partners coming in from various parts of the State. The home offered exactly what we needed to spend time together, relax in the hot tub, visit local restaurants and do some shopping. We even opened all of our presents there and they had a Christmas tree! That almost made me cry because we didn’t have a tree this year…it was truly wonderful. We felt right at home. So thankful!!!

This home was awesome for our group of 10. From Toddlers to teenagers…and parents and grandparents…4 generations of fun was had by all! It was cozy and quiet and had plenty to do for the littles! The beds were comfy and adequate for our large group! The bathrooms had enough space and hot water to accommodate us too! It was conveniently located and easy to access the rest of Fredericksburg! We enjoyed our time and highly recommend staying here!

Loved this stay! Felt right at home and everything was clean! Brought two dogs and they loved the patio. Main street was walking distance. Was given lots of recommendations of where to go and what to eat that was really helpful :)

We took a trip with our family and children 9 adults and 5 toddlers (4 under 4). The place was beautiful and large enough for all of us to sleep and entertain comfortably. The essentials and more were readily available and Aide was so responsive and attentive to our needs and questions. The home had a large yard with a few toys and playsets for the kids to run and enjoy. The pool was fenced off and closed (which was a big deal for us with littles). The house does not have any gates or fences and the property is right off a regularly busy road, so if you have little runners, it could be an issue. But other than that, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely reconsider this home on future trips to Fredericksburg.

This property was properly named as the ‘Sunshine Hause’. It makes you feel warm as soon as you enter. Checkin was seamless and Bunk was very kind and responsive. It’s a perfect home for a larger group. There was space for everyone and many areas to gather. The outside patio is beautiful and the hot tub made for a perfect ending to the cool evenings. The house is only a few blocks from Main Street, which made for easy and convenient access to the shops, eateries and some wineries. I highly recommend this house for your stay in Fredericksburg.

Beautiful rental on a beautiful property. The patio area under the magnolia tree with swings was a great space to visit and play dominoes during our family reunion. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs over the years but this one had one of the best equipped kitchens (speaking of the main house). Main St and H-E-B are walkable although there is a lack of sidewalks in the area around the house. Wonderful rental for large groups. There was plenty of room for the 13 of us.

What an amazing beautiful place to stay and share with friends and family! We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful scenery while in the pool and hot tub and the spacious house was perfect for entertaining our group of 10! It was a cozy place to stay after being at wineries all day!

We had 3 couples staying at The Farmhouse and still had a bedroom to spare if we had wanted to invite another couple. Lots of places to gather and sit comfortably inside and outside around the fireplace, pool, and outdoor kitchen. We found out that Porchlight has 5 other units on the same property, so we are thinking about returning with a larger group, we enjoyed the property so much. Decor is really nice and feels homey and inviting. Highly recommend this rental.

Truly one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Very close to downtown Fredericksburg, but felt like you were out in the country. Absolutely perfect for a large group of friends to stay after a day at the wineries. Highly recommended.

It was exactly as described… cute little cottage located in a neighborhood that was peaceful and walkable to town. This place was decorated so cute and quite spacious. It was so peaceful in the mornings and evenings. We absolutely loved it!

We had a delightful stay at the farmhouse! It was quiet but plenty to do for guests of all ages. The house has been renovated with modern conveniences while keeping the character of an old house. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub, I LOVED the front porch swings! While of vintage character, the stove was easy to use - nice wine glasses. We were sorry to not be able to use the fire pit surrounded by rocking chairs - some other time!

Fredericksburg is a favorite shared birthday destination and the cottage was the perfect, peaceful retreat! With Mollye’s green thumb and eye for design, daily Hope visits, and the serenity of the space, we were home away from home! Everything we needed/wanted was at our fingertips. Beds were so comfy, a/c invaluable, directions easy, questions answered, space given while engagement welcomed, personal touches provided (birthday card, aloe vera babies, “you forgot something !”), and trip made! Bird watchers, plant lovers, retreat seekers, and adopted family will be in heaven! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place for couples! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Laurie was also very responsive and helpful. One thing to note is there’s no living room / common space, it’s two private suites connected by the kitchen. Wasn’t a problem for us. Otherwise, everything was perfect: hot tub, fire pit, not too far from Main St., comfy beds, etc. Thanks, Laurie!

The Petunia House was PERFECT for our weekend getaway! It was right off of main street, so we never had to drive anywhere! Clean, tidy, aesthetically pleasing, quiet, perfect! We will be going back for sure!!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy house, which is a very short distance away from the town of Fredericksburg. The rooms and bathrooms had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable, and we were able to park our car overnight in the garage which gives us extra peace of mind. Every room was clean and warm. I would definitely stay here again if I were to visit Fredericksburg another time.

WOW! Just WOW! The house was immaculate, very comfortable and welcoming. The beds were comfy and the linens were soft as butter!!! The entire house was pristine and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was adequately stocked. Darren & Kelly also left us a couple bottles of wine to welcome us and to enjoy during our stay. Very nice touch!!! Unfortunately, we had wet and cold weather during our stay but we would have absolutely utilized the amazing outdoor space, weather permitting. We didn’t have any hiccups during our trip but I have no doubt that Darren or Kelly would have responded promptly if we had. They were proactive with interacting with me prior to our arrival, as well as during our stay to make sure everything was good. The house rules and exiting instructions were the most reasonable and easiest I’ve ever experienced with any previous rentals. I would ABSOLUTELY stay at Gardenia Haus again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
