This place was fantastic

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird Cottage! Nancy communicated so well before, during and after our stay. The cottage was very comfortable for us to stay with our three small kiddos and my mother and her dog. The linens and towels and dishes were all very nice quality (not what you typically get with an AirBnb). So nice having a washer/dryer available. There were lots of toys and books for the kids, and they loved running around in the enclosed backyard with the doggy. It was about 40 minutes to Fresno and 1.5 hours to Sequoia National Forest - very convenient. We would chat with Nancy and her husband when we saw them outside, but felt we were granted privacy the whole visit. We felt right at home, and we would absolutely stay there again if ever in the area.

This house is beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. Love the location. Lots of toys for kids. We had a great stay. Will definitely be back.

This was the 2nd time my family stayed at Ryan's place this year. The 2nd stay was just as great as the 1st. We already plan to return to Ryan's place for a 3rd time this year!

We went when there was snow, and a winter wonderland surrounding the cabin was perfect for my family. We especially loved the outside lights, it let my kids enjoy even more snow time when the sun was down. Really enjoyed this place and would stay there again.

We loved the home. Extremely cozy and well maintained. It was great having a stocked kitchen, having a slow cooker came in handy after a day full of sledding. Looking forward to staying here again!

What an amazing place! A small, cozy cottage that truly felt like an escape for a couple of city slickers like us. The view of the river and balcony were priceless, along with all the amenities you could ask for. I would love to stay here again the next time I venture to Sequoia, this place is really close to the park entrance! Anthony is a great host and we recommend him to all.

There was no snow on the ground so getting to the house was easy. I followed "Waze" which took me right there. The parking is ample. It was easy to get the key and open the slider. The heater worked wonderfully. If you want firewood bring it with you as they store only sells Pine for 9.00 a bundle. That burns fast. They also sell Duraflame logs which burn for hours and are a better deal. Its not far from China Peak so it was a nice trip for a ski day. Its close enough to the deli and the Shaver Lake Pizza to walk but I drove anyway. We rented ski equipment from Shaver Lake Sports which is really close too. There are ample pillows, blankets and towels. The wifi was strong and easy to get connected. The TV is self explanatory. The couch is comfortable, I fell asleep on it after a day's skiing. If we had time we would have walked around the neighborhood, which looked really cute. The shower had ample hot water and included shampoo and body wash. I'd go again!

Our recent stay in Shaver Lake was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the area was. The peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air made it the perfect escape from everyday life. The place we stayed at was nicely remodeled and felt modern, clean, and welcoming. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into making the space comfortable and inviting. The layout was well thought out, and everything we needed was provided, making it easy to settle in and relax right away. One of the highlights of our experience was how responsive and helpful the host was. Anytime we had a question or concern, David was quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. It really added to the overall sense of comfort, knowing that we were well taken care of. We also felt like we got a great deal for the price we paid. The combination of a beautiful location, a thoughtfully designed space, and excellent service made this stay feel like a true barg
