Beach house vacation rentals in Gelting

My parents rented the upper apartment, we were - with our two toddlers - in the lower apartment. The cottage as well as the fenced garden and wagon were super suitable for this! Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures and very clean. The manager who hand over the key and takes the apartment off again at the end is very nice. We had an issue with a door, there was a pretty quick response. (Thanks! :-)) They're not a huge room, but you can already see that in the photos. There is a construction site on the beach right now, that's too bad. But the landlords can't do anything about it - and there is still a lot to do (as well as a free bathing bus to other beaches). Towels and linens are to be brought, but I think that's really okay with the rental price!

We felt very comfortable as a family +grandparents+dog. Fantastic garden, deer by the front door - pure nature 🥰

Really quick response from our nice hosts. Would definitely recommend the place when you are a big bunch of friends who want peace and quiet. Lovely surroundings.

We had a very nice getaway with two small children with Mathias - and felt very comfortable! We especially liked the two bedrooms, which are well separated from each other, so that no child wakes the other;) Location is top and really only a few meters from the water. Mathias was always easy to reach, arrival and departure flexible in times - very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

Great stay, beautiful place

We stayed over a weekend with 2 families (7 people) in Els' beautiful house and felt extremely comfortable. Beautifully and lovingly furnished, clean, great garden, great surroundings, pure nature and very idyllic! We cooked on both evenings (we didn't miss anything), sat together at the large dining table, chatted and played. It was so cozy, that's how we had imagined this weekend. Absolutely recommended! A small, possibly helpful note for subsequent guests: The double beds (except the sofa bed) are 140 cm wide, if you are used to larger ones, you can find it a little tight. We still slept well:-) Els and her husband were also in the house across the street this weekend and are extraordinarily nice! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

a lovely summerhouse with great views. An older but classic summerhouse as it needs to be. good beds and there was everything you needed in the kitchen. Definitely recommend and is a good distance to both Gråsten, Sønderborg and Flensburg.

Great location right on the water's edge at Svendborg Sund. 5 meters out of the patio door and you are literally in the waves. You can sit and follow the traffic on the water and otherwise there is nothing to disturb. The house is simple and stylishly decorated. Pia and Gert make you feel welcome: sparkling clean, a small personal greeting, water and a few local beers in the fridge, and an invitation to use what is available for coffee and tea, etc. A little gem of a house where time passes for a few days.

Connis cottage is very cozy, lovingly furnished and very very clean!! We felt right at home! Conni welcomed us very hospitably and the fire in the fireplace was already burning upon our arrival, so we immediately had it comfortable. Everything is available in the house, whether storage space, hooks, lamps, dishes, etc., we lacked nothing. Conni is a very lovely host without being intrusive. A very positive Airbnb experience. We already know the area and the holiday park and appreciate the spaciousness and possibilities to stay in nature. The quaint beach is one of our favorite places and you can certainly watch porpoises there regularly. We were able to enjoy the time over the turn of the year very much.

We had a great time at Ole and Charlottes place. We especially enjoyed the wonderful and enormous garden, where our 18 month old daughter could walk around freely and play in the grass. The house is beautifully decorated (we had to moves some things to higher levels though, as it’s not fully childproof) and although it’s an old building, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was a bit soft to our liking, but that’s just personal preference. The only thing that would make everything even better would be a hottub somewhere in the garden (especially because the bathroom doesn’t have a bathtub) but you should always have something to wish for right ;) Ole and Charlotte were on vacation themselves so we didn’t actually meet them, but communication beforehand was good. They sent us a list of recommendations for things to do and where to shop. And even from their holiday destination they responded to our messages (with some delay, but that’s to be expected). Thanks!

The cottage is very cozy. There are 2 beautiful terraces, one of which is protected from the wind, where you can also have sunlight in the evening. The garden is huge and even has a nice fire pit. You can hear the sea rushing in the garden and the beach with bathing jetty is a few minutes walk. The amenities are rather simple, but good, nothing is missing in any case. A very nice place where time stops and where you can relax wonderfully. We liked it very much. Thank you very much!

The place has been set up with a lot of love. You feel right at home. The entire place is absolutely clean and you will find everything you need. The conservatory can be reached via the bedroom and is as comfortably furnished as the rest of the house. The attached garden is beautifully designed and beautifully illuminated in the evening. I highly recommend this place! 100 points! :)

We felt very comfortable and had a lovely holiday in Strande. Thank you for the bottle of wine and the warm welcome to the cottage. We recommend the house very much.

Jacuzzi, sauna, BBQ, nice that it was all there. Everything is more than sufficient. Shortage of wine glasses was replenished in a day. Had a wonderful week with children and grandchildren. And for the tranquility of grandparents, another separate bedroom and bathroom in the outbuilding (no wifi). Absolutely recommended!
