This house is a great place to stay. We will be back for sure. We have friends and family that live near by. Fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super clean. Updated. Larissa's listing was the perfect home base for our "Siblings Ski Trip" up north! We were thankful to find this pet-friendly stay last minute, because it was a wonderful stay for all of us! The large, fenced in backyard gave us peace of mind when our pup went out to explore or play & us humans really enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace after long days skiing! Highly recommend this cozy & peaceful location instead of right in Boyne Falls or at the resorts- bonus that the Walloon Lake restaurants were the BEST & only 2 min away! Thanks again for sharing your place w/ us to make memories together & spend precious quality time doing what we love in the snow!

The cabin was soo cute and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. We ended each of our nights in the hot tub which was just perfect. The area was so pretty and peaceful. We enjoyed a great dinner in downtown Traverse City that was recommended by Michelle. We would definitely love to visit again.

We stayed for a long weekend right before the holidays. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. Between the sunsets, fresh snow, beautiful views and the quietness of the neighborhood.. it was unforgettable. We especially loved the hot tub as it got below 10 degrees outside, it was much needed! Fully stocked with supplies you may need. Easy access into town. Honestly, it was so hard to leave but we cant wait to come back. High recommend!!!

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

Sherri's place was just beautiful!! Right on the lake in the Five Lakes area of Gaylord. The home was very cozy and comfortable. The stone fireplace was amazing and came in very handy in the sub zero temps we had while we were there.!! The beds were very comfortable with lots of thick blankets and pillows! The kitchen had all the amenities we needed!! We were within a 5 minute drive to all the shops and restaurants as well. We loved Sherri's place and will definitely be returning!!

Probably the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. John and his wife were kind and quick to respond to our questions. While they live on the property, we did not see them at all during our stay. The water front makes it extremely enjoyable and the lake is quiet. They checked in with us and always made sure we had everything we needed. We will absolutely be back to this rental, hopefully for longer next time!

This is a gem!! Loved our stay. Perfect location to wineries, restaurants, shopping, and beach! Great farm and open areas to walk our dogs. Definitely will be back!!

Delightful, cozy lake house, conveniently located for lots of side quests, upper peninsula and Mackinac island. Sweet house, comfortable bed, sparkling clean, new appliances, good WiFi, fireplace, well stocked kitchen, and bright sun room. Jackie’s place had everything we needed — highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix! The house was perfect for two people plus a dog! The backyard was amazing and private, and the location was perfect to walk downtown and through the neighborhood. Oksana was very helpful and friendly, we loved the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, and recommendations of nearby places to go. We’re hoping to come back again. Great place!

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

This cottage was an absolute delight! We loved staying here and will absolutely check its availability if we’re in the area again. Nancy was so kind, and left out all sorts of snacks and coffee for us. Everything in the house was very well organized and well-labeled, with clear instructions on how to use everything. She also left plenty of kindling and firewood for a couple of fires, and, although we didn’t get a chance to use them, the snowshoes looked to be very high quality. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, perfect for walking and hiking in the Mt. McSauba recreation area. Super close to the downtown area too, with lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and window shopping, even in the middle of winter/off season. Really a lovely place to spend a weekend and I can’t say enough good things!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

I stayed here for a wedding and wanted some private and quiet time around the events. It was fabulous. Sitting on porch talking to a friend or reading, the bed in the loft helped give me two of my best nights sleep in a long time. Would love to return for a longer time and just chill Went to the Villager in Lewiston for breakfast. Great service and food. Closes at 2 and cash only.

Great place to unwind and relax! Ellsworth Lake is such a beautiful spot and holds many memories for our family.

This cottage was absolutely perfect for a long weekend getaway with my husband. The location was centrally located between Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes and Traverse City. The cottage itself was so unique and I loved the decor! It felt so cozy! The more you looked around (both inside and outside) the more you found! I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
