Vacation rentals in Gavdos

It was completely pleasant.

We absolutely loved, loved, loved this place! We were a party of 6 people (3 couples), and every couple had their own room with their own bathroom, which was super important and convenient for us. The terrace is huge, and the pool is absolutely gorgeous. The view is even better than you would imagine. The place is super clean and so calm. You really get the chance to relax and unwind. The consequence of the place being absolutely secluded and relaxing is that you have to drive quite some time to the next „bigger“ village—around 25 minutes on a curvy road. This was no big deal for us, but it's worth knowing before booking this place. Overall, we had the best time here, and this was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in on Airbnb. Absolutely recommend this place! Thanks also to Elizabeth for being such a nice and responsive host!

We felt so privileged to stay in this beautiful authentic absolutely un touristy part of Crete. The apartment was very comfortable and we had everything we needed but the best part was the incredible sunset from the balcony and the evening walk to the one restaurant in the village, which is very unassuming but has very good and inexpensive food, friendly service and the most beautiful view. This is a place to discover and anyone who has the opportunity or inclination should definitely take the opportunity to stay here.

Amazing view and access to an almost private bay. Relaxing location for people who like to be in a quiet place.

Comfortable villa tucked away in the mountains. As long as you don't mind windy roads it's a decent spot to explore the area. A couple of quiet beaches are 20mins down the hill with a few tavernas. Closest (quite basic) supermarkets are about 30mins away in busier town with lots of restaurants & bars. The indoor space is great for 4 people and the small garden and pool worked well for us too. Kostas was very responsive and helpful.

We felt very comfortable from the 1st second. Top location with beautiful views of a sea bay. The apartment is modern and 1A furnished, everything worked perfectly. Barbara and Karl were very pleasant landlords who live in the lower area. We can absolutely recommend this apartment and would very happy to come again.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was fantastic. Best view of sunrise and sunset, absolute peace and privacy and everything exactly as shown in the photos. In addition, beautiful outdoor kitchen where we would only have welcomed it if the electric grill had been a gas grill. The access is adventurous but also to be mastered without four-wheel drive - but I would have felt safer with four-wheel drive and would use it next time. The pool was cleaned every two days and in addition after a small storm. In addition, the delivery via a supermarket is recommended, which has everything your heart desires to choose from for a small delivery fee. You can get the link with the WelcomeBook in advance by email and do not have to take the long journey to the nearest larger supermarket. We will definitely return on our next Crete tour!

My partner and I stayed at this lovely home for 10 days. It has traditional and old feels to it, however, it is spotless clean! I was quite surprised. What pleased us the most is smooth communications and such a generous welcome fruit basket and raki. We didn't have to be hungry in the morning for the next few days due to thode fruits. Konstantinos is very kind, letting me check in almost midnight due to our flight schedule and unexpected time it took to get our rental car going. We appreciate his recommendations to surrounding sight seeing spots. The view from this home is stunning. We had a relaxing breakfast on the terrace every day. The sunset makes you in awe of beauty in nature. There are necessary amenities for cooking, and everything else. It is quiet at night. Takes about 13 minutes to get to the nearest beach. Overall, a lovely stay! Thanks Konstantinos for letting us stay and hope to come back when we are in town again.
