We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! Duarte was very welcoming and took the time to explain everything to us at check-in. He was always available to provide quick and helpful information whenever we needed it. The apartment was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary utilities. Having a washing machine was a great bonus for us. The location was perfect—well connected to Funchal, with plenty of car rental options nearby. The supermarket and restaurants were conveniently close, and the free parking spot was a huge plus. We didn’t have to worry about parking at all, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was smooth, and we had a fantastic time on this beautiful Island.

Honestly I have to say this has been my favourite stay I’ve ever had. I took my girlfriend away to Madeira and I wanted to break the trip up with something a little different and this 100% - ticked all the right boxes. The Property sits on the cliff edge over looking the ocean! Giving it a totally unique experience. All the facilities were excellent, if we needed any assistance the team were always on hand. Great choice for holidays or longer stays! Ana is a really nice host, she kindly welcomed us even at midnight on Christmas. The apartment had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect - a peaceful seaside village with easy access to everything.

What can I say… we have stayed in several Airbnbs abroad and in the Uk and this one hits the spot. Betty was a complete star. The location is perfect in every way. Restaurants, bus stop, Madeira Forum which has a fantastic supermarket and every shop you might need. The apartment was spotless, homely, lots of extras left to help in the first day or so. Then the views.. oh what a delight. My dad who has difficulty walking had an amazing time looking out to sea.. watching the weather and boats. Private car parking space for the hire car.. all on level ground with lifts which aided with the accessibility we needed! Utterly brilliant already planning two more holidays with Betty! We felt very comfortable. Spacious apartment with a great sun balcony when you come from a hike. There was everything you need. A small light in the living room would be nice that you don't always have to turn on the big bright light. Nice bar/cafe on the ground floor where there is very good coffee and pasta. The way to the city is about 25 minutes. Back up a pretty steep mountain. A rental car is absolutely worth it here, as the house has its own parking space in the underground car park. You can get away from there in all directions. All in all, I would book this place again anytime. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this property for the third time: the location right by the sea is fantastic and unbeatable as a starting point for many hikes in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. The sofa in the living room should perhaps be renewed or the covers washed, because there are signs of wear and tear. The outdoor area is definitely a clear recommendation.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Woodlovers property. It was clean, beautiful, private, quiet, and an oasis from home while on vacation for 10 days in Madeira. Our hosts were so communicative. We felt well guided before, during and after. Thank you for all the recos. Wouldn’t reco a better stay while visiting this beautiful island.

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Everything was great with the accommodation. Iri took great care of the well-being and has an open ear for improvements for future guests.

This stay at Annikka's place was a great experience. The apartment is in a great location, which allowed to be less than an hour's drive from all the activities of the island (car rental highly recommended, see mandatory). The area is quiet and the apartment has ocean views even from the bed when you wake up! It is rare to find an available space in the private parking lot of the residence if you want to park in the evening, however we have always found a place on the surrounding streets as the host had explained (in front of the Baia Azul hotel for example). Everything is well equipped and the instructions were very clear, we recommend this listing without hesitation! Laura & Rio

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment in the hills of Ribeira Brava. The property is stunning, with a beautifully maintained garden full and a fantastic swimming pool. Perfect for relaxing while enjoying the breathtaking views. The apartment itself is lovely, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back again!

Great apartment within walking distance to Funchal city centre (30 minutes but involves hills so some fitness required). I feel it was great value to get somewhere so close to restaurants etc. Parking and access to the pool were also great assets to have.

We couldn't have been happier: the flat is a dream. Ricardo and Mariana were great hosts and made the stay perfect. About the accommodation: the flat is large and modern, everything was very invitingly furnished and especially clean. Everything was taken care of. The location is perfect and we will definitely be back. Thank you very much for that!

It was the best place I've ever rented from Airbnb. Everything was as in the photos. Very quiet. The pool and ocean views are amazing. Spacious bedrooms with bathrooms. Very clean. Snow-white linen. It is not recommended to be here without a car. But, if you like walking, probably you will enjoy. It was very interesting to check neighborhood. We walked around a little bit. Very secure. If you see someone around, it's only local people. They are very friendly. I never seen homeless or beggars around our place. I can confirm, that you will not find any unfriendly people on this island. Tennis and billiard tables will not make you bored. There was practically no wind. The island exceeded our expectations. We won't go to Tenerife again. Orlanda was great. We are ready to return to any of her homes. Orlanda helps with some my questions about Madeira. She is number 1. Thank you for your hospitality.

Everything went smoothly, as described and instructed. The host was very helpful and flexible. For example, he agreed to a later checkout. Parking is a bit difficult due to few parking spaces in the neighborhood parking lot. There wasn't always space. On the other hand, there is public parking nearby for €6.5 per night.

We stayed for 5 days here. My kids loved the planes flying past the house, nice walk to santa cruz , sunny patio to enjoy lunch & drinks. No major issues for us , we will definitely look to come back here!

We highly recommend this rental when visiting Madeira. Raquel and her father are both very friendly and quick to respond to any questions before and during rental period. They provided pickup and return from/to the airport which was great. They explained how everything worked : car, roof-tent, camping kitchen and shower and gave us a map with spots to spend the night we used many times. We basically used all the equipment. The outdoor shower was great after spending the day hiking! We also enjoyed some lunches and overnight stays in places only accessible for a 4x4 car so solitude with magical sunsets are included. TIP: Put a post-it note on your windscreen in front driver to remind yourself to remove and store the rooftop tent crank before driving off in the morning!! It is not a thing you want to loose. We were so lucky it stayed in during the next drive 🫣

Stayed 8 nights at Leonor’s place and absolutely loved it. The best part of the house is the view and two separate balconies. The house was squeaky clean and had all the listed amenities+ extra. Location is in peaceful area at the top of a hill, but there are a lot of things to do within a 5-10 minute walk. We took a lot of Taxi’s, there was no issues finding the place. Friendly cat that lives outside, highly recommend.

A Perfect Stay at Cliff Residence – A Hidden Gem! Our stay at Cliff Residence was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views, immaculate interiors, and the warm hospitality extended by our host, Valery. The residence itself is a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Waking up to breathtaking views every morning was an absolute treat, and the peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

This was not your everyday AirBNB experience and set a new benchmark for us. Nuno & Rubina are excellent hosts who welcomed us into their immaculate and well maintained and equipped property. During our stay we received great advice for dining and other activities around the island. Great location, stunning ocean views and sunsets in a perfectly furnished, equipped and maintained house. Very pleasant stay, the house was spotless. You will have a private pool and a beautiful view of the valley and the sea. The beds were very comfortable, no amenities to say. We are very happy and we are thinking of coming back to Madeira.

We had the best time staying at the Crystal house. Fatima was an incredibly friendly host who welcomed us personally and gave us privacy during our stay. She even brought us Madeiran wine and bananas from the garden. The space is big enough for 2 persons, especially with the royal terrace and balcony looking over the valley and the ocean! This was exceptional! The road in front of the house is not extremely busy, but the cars are loud sometimes. The kitchen is not very big, but it has the basics and is good enough for simple dinners. The bathroom is also quite small, but it’s clean and well equipped. The location on the island was ideal for us! You can drive to the highlights quite easily, while still enoying the local atmosphere from Madeira. Muito obrigado Fatima! It was amazing!

We spent 3 fantastic weeks in our accommodation. The rooms are tastefully decorated, so you felt very comfortable right away. In the kitchen, all conceivable utensils for cooking are available, which was very convenient for us as a self-catering. The property is dreamy! In the back there is a small vegetable garden where we were allowed to harvest. We were happy to use the fresh herbs for our food. Particularly noteworthy is the warm appearance of the landlords. As a welcome, there were fresh flowers in the rooms and for reception and farewell we got cakes and cookies. A really sweet gesture! And then we were also given very magical small crafted blankets. Thank you for this wonderful stay.
