Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Gaston County

We enjoyed an early family Christmas with our adult children at this lovely home. There was ample space for all six of us to dine, relax, playing games, etc. We even found out what we needed in the kitchen to make our traditional Xmas cookies together. It was well equipped. The yard is very nice and if there had not been a bit of a cold snap, I think we all would have taken advantage of the outdoor space more. I think this would be a very nice retreat in warmer weather. Michael was very communicative and accommodating, offering up and early check in and late check out since there were no other guests around our reservation. Our stay was a pleasant experience.

This was an AWESOME Airbnb! The place was just like it was described. House in a great location and very clean. We had no issues and everyone was comfortable. We will definitely be back for a lengthy vacation. Diana was very responsive and so nice. Thank you, Diana, for the hospitality.

The home was great. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. The living room and kitchen/dining are so spacious. Pictures of the listing don’t do it justice. It is a very clean and clutter-free home, which we enjoyed. Beds were comfy.

We stayed to visit our daughter at Belmont Abbey College. The house was close to the college, downtown Belmont and a grocery store. Host was friendly and quick to respond. House was perfect and would absolutely stay again!

This house was cozy and comfortable, with a warm feel and everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Very fun family vacation home! 10/10! Our kids did not want to leave. The patio was spacious, lights all around the patio for a very relaxing vibe while the children swam in the pool and the hubby and I relaxed in the hot tub! The game room was definitely a hit! Everything in the kitchen was easily accessible. Laundry room had everything we needed to wash our linens. Bathrooms were very nice with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash! We definitely plan on making this a yearly Spring Break trip for our family! Krista and Caleb responded in a timely manner, to any of our questions that we did have. The place was all around perfect!

Tammy is the most gracious host we have encountered on AIRB&B or any other booking website. She was always quick to respond to our questions. The suite we stayed in had everything we could want or or imagine. The kitchen had coffee pods for the keureg, flavored syrups and half and half in the refrigerator. All the appliances were new and worked well. The suite was beautifully decorated, the shower was awesome and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the electric fireplace on the living room, the big fenced backyard with fire pit and cornhole. There were too many great amenites for me to list in this review! Highly recommend!!!!

Mike’s home was a wonderful place to stay. My family and I were traveling for a funeral. And we all fit comfortably with our own spaces. The pool and deck are so lovely, and my family constantly told me how impressed they were at this diamond among jewels. Mike was also very friendly, accommodating, and understanding, and responded swiftly with multiple answers and solutions. We would be glad to stay again some day.

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.

I can’t begin to describe how beautiful this house was and how well kept it was. The scenery is also beautiful and quiet. The neighbors are also so nice and welcoming! I would recommend all of my friends and family to book a stay here and I look forward to book again soon in the summer! Thank you lovely spaces!

The stay at Michael’s home was nothing short of magical. The home and experience was even better than we had hoped, and we had high hopes based on the reviews and pictures. Mike is a 5-star host as well. His hospitality, thoughtfulness and generosity make him a true pro as a host. It was the easiest check in and out experience I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. Upon entry, we were met by a warm fire (already started in the fireplace), soft lighting and music playing on the record player, and a warmth that made us feel like we were walking into a 5-star cabin experience. We will DEFINITELY return as soon as we can. It will be the place we stay in Charlotte now. Not only was the home and host experience amazing, but the location was ideal… under 10 min to CLT, a few minutes from Belmont, and even less to the U.S. Whitewater facilities. What a find! Thank you, Mike!

Our group of nine ranged in age from 17-67. The home was spacious and allowed us to gather for meals or scatter for some quiet moments. We loved having a bedroom and bathroom for everyone! Four king beds was wonderful, too. All of us agreed the beds were very comfortable. The game room offered another place for old and young to come together. Us old folks showed the young ones a thing or two about pool and they showed us a thing or two about video games! (They brought their Switch which we played on the tv in the room). The vintage arcade games were fun for all and there’s plenty of seating for those who just want to hang out and watch. Jennifer was very responsive with any questions we had. She also checked in when there was a tornado warning in the area and let us know when it had passed. There is a Harris Teeter’s at the top of the neighborhood which made it convenient to grab food items we needed upon arrival and the home is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Great stay!

My friends and I loved the house, we felt right at home. I love how we all had the opportunity to stay under one roof. Everything was clean and organized. We will definitely be back!
