Vacation rentals with a pool in Gare Saint Jean, Bordeaux

Virginie and Nelson greeted us with big smiles and made us feel comfortable as soon as we arrived. Very nice accommodation, with a large garden and swimming pool to enjoy the sun (BIG + for the sofa outside)! Accommodation and garden not overlooked so no worries about the neighbors! Only 20 minutes from Bordeaux, very convenient. I recommend it 100%, go for it!!!

A lovely 4 day stay at Patricia’s place and very convenient for my appointments in Bordeaux. There are beautiful parks within walking distance which were lovely to explore with my dog. A great place to stay!

This property was exactly as described. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the pool, the AC bedrooms and clean well-stocked kitchen. A fully equipped bbq was in the garden but we didn't use it. The 4bedrooms are quite big and spacious and the AC upstairs ensured they were lovely and cool at night. The showers/bathrooms are very clean and had modern fittings. The shutters, blinds and awning operate electronically, but dont let this put you off, the instructions are very easy to follow. There is a large Carrefour about a 10min walk away, which we used everyday! And a nice Italian restaurant about 18-20min walk away. The pool &garden face south so gets sun all day but the awning provides great shade if needed. I would definitely stay here again. And I would strongly recommend it as a place to stay in Bordeaux for a few nights break and a base to tour Bordeaux.

Virginie's place is beautiful and comfortable, quiet and private. She is a collector of beautiful things and it was a pleasure to be surrounded by them. The beds are comfortable and the linens high quality. On arrival Virginie greeted us with a bottle of wine and things to enjoy it with plus items we would have had to get for breakfast...coffee, milk, eggs, fruit etc. She couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. She had lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. She was available when we needed her and otherwise left us to enjoy the place on our own. Bordeaux is a beautiful city with lots to do. While the house is not in Bordeaux, the nearby trams and busses allow incredibly quick and easy access to everything Bordeaux. There is an express supermarket on your very short walk to the tram. Bigger Markets are walking distance. We loved this beautiful house and wished we could have stayed longer. Excellent stay at Gillian’s place. Very friendly welcome, in person. Had everything we needed for our four night stay. We couldn’t find a corkscrew so Gillian arranged for a neighbour to lend us one. Next day a new one was delivered along with a bottle of wine! That’s above and beyond! Thank Gillian!

Thanks to Sophie and Davy for this beautiful house where we were able to spend a wonderful weekend with friends! The house is very nice and has all the amenities you need for a pleasant stay. The terrace and pool are perfect for enjoying the beautiful Bordeaux sun. Communication with Sophie and Davy was very smooth and they were very responsive to the questions we had on arrival, and they also gave us good tips on activities to do in the area.

Very nice apartment, well equipped, very clean and warm. Convenient parking and bus stop right in front. We had a lovely stay.

Great place, very clean, welcoming host. Unfortunately we had some problems in the Airbnb but it was our fault, it's not in my habits and I still apologize to the owner, thank you again to her for hosting. I recommend it.

Very clean accommodation, very pleasant and in a great location. You can get everywhere on foot, tram nearby. Christine and her husband are welcoming, caring and very responsive hosts. Recommended without a second thought!

A great choice. A beautiful and very quiet location in the heart of the French vineyards. A nice and comfortable home. Perfectly integrated into the vineyards and with fantastic views. In reality, it is much more impressive than in the photos. It is within easy reach to visit Bordeaux and Saint-Emilion by car, as well as other highlights in the surrounding area. Jean Louis was a very accessible and attentive host, and with nice touches. Highly recommended!
