Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Garden

I have so many positive things to say about this home. Barbara is a fantastic host, her son is helpful and friendly. The home, pond, gazebo and acreage are amazing. Lots of trails just behind the cabin, connecting to state forest trails. This is our second time staying at Barbs place and will totally return in the future.

Emily's was a great host, always super responsive. The house had absolutely everything we needed to feel at home and it was beautiful. Very wonderful place to stay with a great location right between some of Door County's most quaint towns.

This place was amazing! My three boys, husband, and dog had such a great peaceful time. There were plenty of things to do in the cabin alone! They have everything fully stocked, including tons of family games, VHS movies to take you back in time, and much more. We loved how peaceful everything was! My kids loved hunting for crawfish, swimming, and riding in the kayaks. It rained almost the entire time until the last night, but honestly, that made it even better and more peaceful. The host was very responsive when we had a little issue with our pup and was extremely helpful and I appreciated that so much. The only thing I would prepare people for is that of course being that secluded/ far out is it well water, which does have a “scent” to it. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect!! Thanks so much for letting us use your home. We would 10000000% recommend.

Absolutely loved our stay at the High Banks. The decor was well thought out and provided a great vibe.. we loved the kitchen table. They have a variety of breakfast options, great coffee, comfortable beds.. we absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend them to future travelers.

Clean and well organized

It's a beautiful and quiet location just minutes from the shops and restaurants in Sister Bay. As noted in the listing, the hostess lives on site and was there during our stay. Other than seeing her car from time to time, we would not have known if she was home or not. The internet worked great and we were easily able to log into our Netflix account to relax during the evening to watch our favorite shows. This was the perfect place for a long weekend away for me and my husband.

This rental did not disappoint. It is even cuter in person! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was welcoming and very responsive. We loved the convenience of the coffee shop and bar across the street. We are very likely to stay here again in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at the cabin. Very peaceful and disconnected from the towns so you can fully relax. The river was an amazing view to wake up to.

Lovely little cabin! Really enjoyed the fireplace and beautiful scenery. Already looking to book future dates. Would highly recommend! The only issue I had was not with the cabin, but with the restaurants. We didn't really find any food that was worth the price. Next time, I would probably stop at the Piggly Wiggly and plan more meals at home. this is just a personal preference. The cabin itself was wonderful.

This cabin was in the perfect location that we had for a friends wedding. If you are feeling up to it, safely go down the hill by the river, it is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and so worth it!

The place was listed as advertised. Very clean, private with great accommodations. We used this as a base camp for a guys snowmobile weekend. Immediate trail access results in having to ride 3 miles of roads or ungroomed trails. After the 2nd day we decided to trailer 7 miles north to Seney where we found trails in excellent condition. I wouldn't hesitate coming back... just wanted to provide an honest review for fellow Snowmobile enthusiasts.

This beautiful cabin was wonderful. Loved the decor and location. My feet miss those amazing heated floors! The co host was so sweet and it proves the world is a small place! Next year we would like to return and rent the bigger cabin for the whole family! I highly recommend this property! Tricia M.

Durea's place was amazing! First I have to acknowledge she was always SUPER helpful and responsive and she would always respond when emerging travel situations came up which was so nice. The place is also really really awesome. The cabin was more than we expected (totally felt in a glamping situation) and I would say its location is also really good because even though everything is "far" in the UP , the location is very centric to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls , Kitchi iti kipi and other things so definitely a place to consider. Outside of that the cabin is really comfortable and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bathrooms were always in super clean condition with running hot water and the cabin itself was super comfortable. Would highly recommend
