We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

this was great accommodation. had everything you need if you want to cook and chill out at the house on a rainy day. great location overall would highly recommend great value for money. there were 4 of us and it worked perfectly for what we needed and was lovely and warm after a long day of exploring

Thorunn's home was absolutely beautiful, situated perfectly in a private location, but close enough to Keflavik, and a short drive from Reykjavik for any activities. We were lucky enough to spot the Northern Lights on our final night. Thorunn was amazingly accommodating and I would definitely stay here again!

This bright, airy apartment is attractively decorated, cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and the dining area is ample for four people. Almost every major point of interest in the city is walkable from the location on a quiet residential block, and it is a perfect location from which to simply stroll around. Karen was a great host - easy to communicate with and very helpful (especially when we were stranded by "Red Alert" weather conditions!). Note to those with mobility issues: there are several stairs from the gravel walkway up to the main door, and a short flight of stairs up to the door of the unit. We would highly recommend the property for anyone visiting Reykjavik.

Himri was excellent. We came in January in hopes of seeing the Northern Lights. The place was easy to find and easy to get into. Loads of space and incredible views. We saw the lights right from the deck/hot tub. I highly recommend visiting Hvammsvik Hot Springs if you come here. Only 10 minutes away from Himri and better than Blue Lagoon in my opinion.

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

This apartment had great views of the ocean and city. It was clean and cozy. The location was great for walking into the city center or taking bus. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook meals when we wanted.

The apartment was well maintained and spacious. Communication was efficient and received an answer within a few minutes of messaging them. Everything was as it stated and the area it is located is an easy 7-minute walk to the city center. We had a large suitcase that we needed to dispose of as it was damaged, and they were so accommodating and agree to dispose of it for us. Would highly recommend this listing!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

magnea’s place was wonderful! beautiful ocean views, clean space, and lots of amenities! we even saw the northern lights from our bedroom window! magnea was responsive with our concerns. highly recommend the hand knitted accessories that are sold for charity. they kept me warm! overall, we would stay at magnea’s place again. thank you so much!

Gardar's apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood just a few mins drive from Reykjavik city. It's also right next to the main entrance and allocated carpark lot - super convenient. Side note: Personal belongings are in the house but we still had space to put our stuff, so it wasn't a big issue.

great location, parking free outside the house after 9pm! would recommend. do note that the toilets are downstairs from the bedrooms, which wasn't a big issue for us so was absolutely fine.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

Olafur lists his response time as 11 hours, but he was usually much quicker than that. His was a nice place accessible to many restaurants and not far from the downtown area. Quiet at night, lots of parking, a great home away from home.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Sigrun was such a lovely host and her place was beautiful. It was so nicely decorated for the holidays. It is very conveniently located near the church, which was wonderful for the New Year’s fireworks. Every possible comfort was provided for and everything was in wonderful condition . The furnishings were very elegant and comfortable . She made us feel very welcome from her first message to her warm greeting , to the nice touches of coffees and candies that she left for us. I have stayed in many Airbnb‘s throughout the world and this is one of the nicest, what a wonderful way to start 2025!

Hurnd and Davio’s place had a modern Scandinavian flair and it came with a well equipped open kitchen which connects to a dining room where 6-8 people can dine comfortably. The living room is so cozy as well and there were unblocked view for sunrise and sunset everyday, we really enjoyed our time experiencing Icelandic nature and there are also some outdoor seatings to get some fresh air. There were the two of us staying this time and the main purpose was for work. As we had some free time we did make use of the #14 bus which is just 2 mins walk from the apartment and runs to the city center and big church. The grocery is also just 15 mins walk away. Hrund even left us a personal message and she ensured our stay was hassle free with explanation of how the trash is sorted. The toilet was really nicely designed too and you can always count on the geothermal water coming out from the tap for a nice hot shower. We would definitely stay with Hrund and Davio again in the future!
