Vacation rentals in Gambier

My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet peaceful weekend away from the busy city life, and Lori's place was exactly that! It was so peaceful and quiet and clean. Had all the basics that you might need for a quick trip. We didn't want to get out of the hot tub! Be mindful, if you have a smaller care, the hills leading up to the cabins can be a bit tricky when the roads are wet. We didn't have any issues in our truck but just as a heads up. Bring extra towels, she does provide them, but depending on how much you use the hot tub, you may need extras. I forgot ours but that didn't take away from the experience. Lots of love and laughter, just what we needed! We will definitely plan to come there again!

We were looking for a cabin to getaway for the weekend and this cabin hit the mark! A couple days of enjoying a quiet fire in the fireplace while making food with our friends was perfect. We enjoyed the quiet solitude of the cabin and played games to pass the time. Teresa was a super host and their cabin is awesome! We will definitely be back to enjoy the cabin and location again.

The stay was lovely! The Luna was secluded enough to be peaceful, but close enough to civilization that you didn’t feel trapped. We stayed for a reading weekend, and it was everything we wanted… comfy couch, comfy beds, hot tub, and a cozy atmosphere with a view. We definitely would stay again!!

My husband and I celebrated our 18th anniversary at Whispering Pines Villa #1 and it was the perfect getaway. The property is beautiful, peaceful and a great place to relax. We spent time in the hot tub, cooked, played board games, watched movies, listened to music and went into the town of Wooster for a great brunch at The Leaf (highly recommend for brunch and good drinks.) The villa has everything we needed to feel right at home. The Villa was exactly as described in the description and pictures did not do it justice. It’s more beautiful in person. Sam is a great host…very responsive, accommodating and friendly. Check in/out was seamless and so easy. We got several inches of snow while we were there and we were pleasantly surprised when someone showed up in the morning to shovel! We will definitely be back for another getaway…hopefully in the summer so that we may enjoy more of the outdoor amenities and grounds. We had the best time! 10/10 recommended .

The place was very clean and comfortable. Lots of extra towels, bed linens, and blankets. We could hear the folks in the upper level & the pitter patter of a dog running around, but they were quiet & it was not disturbing. The owner was communicative. We were visiting my daughter for family weekend at Kenyon & will not hesitate to stay again. Thanks so much!

Perfect Getaway Spot – Cozy, Clean, and Convenient! This hose exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was immaculate and thoughtfully designed, with modern decor and cozy touches that made it feel like home. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The backyard, complete with a fire pit, was a fantastic bonus for evening relaxation. Our host, was amazing—responsive, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. This house is perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for a peaceful yet convenient place to stay. We will absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone.

Jennifer was an amazing host! She put us in touch with her friend and we went to the friend's restaurant and had such a great time. (All the food in that area is incredible, but be sure to bring your own insulin drip). The apartment was so cozy and cute, we found ourselves repeatedly glued to the sofa. Jennifer left us a welcome basket of goodies and detailed instructions on how to find things and where to go. We also met her cleaner/assistant, also named Jennifer, who educated us on the Amish and the area. Everyone we met was so nice. The apartment was really perfect and I kept telling my traveling companions, I need a place like this to move into when I sell my house! Only it needs to be in NJ . . . Highly recommend. Cozy little cabin, secluded, perfect for couples looking for a nice relaxing stay. Nice hot tub with surrounding scenery. Gracious host, friendly, responsive, flexible check in/check out times. Cabin has lots of love put into it. Host provides ‘forgotten’ items and snacks for a more accommodating stay. Pleasant experience with lots of entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would stay again!
