all round good. stayed to watch the football. everything was good

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Gertie was always very responsive, flexible with check in and checkout which was great for us travelling a long way, overall worth the money we paid as a group!

We had a great stay during the Open! The host even left some simple groceries and wine and we felt very welcome. We spent lot of time in the sun room and loved our time here!

Spacious and comfortable house. Easy walking distance to the beach with stunning views across to the Isle of Arran (especially in the snow!). We enjoyed our second stay using it as a base for visiting family in the area. Elise was very helpful and responsive - thank you.

An Absolutely stunning property with everything included which you could possibly need! The lodges are such a beautiful touch and really make it extra special. Honestly couldn’t fault a single thing the property is spectacular and I would recommend everyone checks it out for themselves. What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!

Fabulous house. Was a great place to stay when attending a family wedding in Troon. Everything was perfect.

The Old Nunnery was easy to find. Entry was supposed to be a key code lock but this was broken. We could enter but not lock the door. One phone call and Tom who was looking after the property immediately attended and arranged for a locksmith. A new lock was fitted within a couple of hours which was brilliant. The house is large and provided great accommodation for the family. We were comprised of adults and older teens giving them space to socialise and play games but also space for everyone to watch a film together. Huge kitchen and dining room perfect as we took all our meals together creating a very special Christmas. We were 15 in total and it did not feel crowded.the kitchen has lots of crockery and cutlery and a fantastic bar area. Hot tub steam room and sauna which was greatly enjoyed. There are sone artworks as mentioned in previous reviews which might not be suitable for younger children. The views are stunning and many a morning spent watching the seals. Short drive to shops

Had a lovely week in Balloch, the accommodation was stunning and everything we could have wanted! The hot tub and the stunning views were a highlight! Would definitely recommend!
