Vacation rentals with beach access in Freshwater

Feels like you’re right on the beach. Fantastic views as per the photos. Warm cosy flat well equipped with lots of eateries very close. Keen to return. Not cheap for 2 people

It is a hidden gem tucked in the heart of Shanklin. The tranquil and homey apartment is super comfortable and quiet while still within walking distance from transportation, grocery stores and even the beach and old village. Host is ever communicative and flexible for early check-in.

This is a great find, the location is perfect with Bournemouth beach or city centre easily walkable but also buses to other beaches that stop virtually outside. Surrounded by good restaurants.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the beautiful apartment. Amazing sea views. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Great place to stay for our couple of nights in Swanage. Really close to the town centre and beach. A clean and comfortable flat with a lovely view and responsive hosts. The shower is tricky to use without flooding the bathroom, especially for a tall person, but it is understandable given the nature of the space and is in keeping with the very reasonable price of the accommodation. We stayed here with our two children (12 and 9) and all loved it!

Tides is an absolutely beautiful apartment with a stunning balcony that has the best sea views! It was spotlessly clean with lots of little touches that made it feel very homely! Debbie was the absolute perfect host who was extremely helpful & friendly, & responded extremely quickly to my communications. Thank you Debbie we had a truly fantastic stay!

I booked this flat for some relatives to stay for 2 nights between Christmas and NY. They very much enjoyed this short break by the seaside. Located just 100 yards from the sea front in East Wittering. Karen’s communication was excellent. It is a fairly compact flat for 6, but is very nicely organised and decorated. Very happy. Lovely apartment within walking distance of great restaurants and easy access to public transport to Bournemouth and other surrounding areas if needed. Very accommodating host, was eager to help us out and personalise our visit, would 100% stay again

We had a great stay at this property in East Wittering. A fabulous location right on the beach, with sweeping views of the coastline from the ground floor and balcony. Lots of great communal space in the upstairs living room and downstairs seating areas overlooking see. Rooms were clean although the kids bedroom was a little small for 4 children to fit into! A well stocked kitchen with everything one needed to whip up a meal. Location also very convenient for getting into East Wittering village where we enjoyed meals at The Boathouse and Pecorino, as well as awesome coffee at Wittering Surf. Would definitely stay again when we return to the area.

Beth is very nice, the environment is beautiful, and the sea view is stunning. We decided to stay an extra night. If it weren’t for the end of the half-term holiday, we would have liked to stay a few more days. We really love it and would consider coming again. very satisfied，and recommend.

Sarah’s house is perfect for a stay at the Witterings. Located a few mins walk to the beach and close to other area such as Itchenor and Bosham. We stayed as a family with young kids and it had everything we needed, from the games room to the garden. It was a bit rainy when we stayed , but that didn’t stop us venturing out. I can imagine in the summer, the house would be even more perfect. Sarah was super helpful too. The house looks even nicer than the pictures.

Great house for our family get together for my Dad’s 75th birthday. Location perfect; within stumbling distance of the beach, as well as the lovely Flamingo cafe at the end of the road. The kids loved the games room and we all appreciated the hot tub, just don’t touch the buttons as we accidentally turned it off and it took 24 hours to heat back up! Driveway fits 3 cars but is very steep as mentioned in the listing. We will definitely return as the house, hosts and location were exactly what we were looking for :)

Great property in a great location. House was as pictured and well kept. Great for larger group. Sarah, the host, was very responsive and quickly answered any questions. Very comfortable house and the underfloor heating was amazing. This spoiled my wife a little and we may have to look into getting some. House was always warm and it was cold outside. Kitchen was well stocked and the welcome goodies were lovely and thoughtful. Will definitely use again when going to the Isle of Wight. A lovely stay. Thank you Sarah.

A warm cozy place perfectly located on a secluded street right next to the beach. Can’t stress enough how perfect the location was. Very clean and everything in perfectly working order, plus the most gracious host. A well deserved five star place.

What a wonderful house , we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . My wife and two young boys loved everything about the house .

Lynne’s place was fantastic. Easy walk to the beach and easy walk into the town. Really nice and clean flat - if going back would stay here again.

Was located in an amazing place everything was within walking distance - free parking at the flat - bed was very comfy (better than my own bed😂) would definitely recommend - also Steven is very friendly and responds quickly which is great - 10/10

Great place to stay very private

David and Liz were incredibly helpful from the initial booking through to when we had left their property. They even posted a charger that we left behind which was incredibly thoughtful! Nothing was too much bother and nice touches such as a couple of beers and bottle of Prosecco in the fridge make all the difference. The property itself is a fantastic location and within easy reach of the beach and shops. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

I stayed here when I was working away for one week. The amenities were excellent and the location was perfect. The host was super responsive when one small issue arose. Would happily stay here again!

Absolutely amazing stay at Samantha's place! Communication was excellent from start to finish. The flat is truly beautiful - the photos don't do justice to how spacious and open the main rooms actually are. The location couldn't be better - just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to the New Forest. We were able to explore so many beautiful sights all within easy reach. The beds were very comfortable and all appliances were new and worked perfectly. We hope to return again soon!

Great location for Seaview and it’s beaches. Pubs and Hotel/Restaurant all short walks. Priory Bay beach is superb, though only really easy at low tide unless you really like steep steps and muddy paths! Swimming at various points according to tide so easy. Had a fabulous time.

What a beautiful place, the nicest Air BnB we’ve stayed in. Scott and Kelly are great hosts and the apartment has everything you need with a great off road parking space. The location is great for exploring the local area, it was our first time visiting Poole and there’s so much to see and do. If you’re a runner, Poole parkrun is highly recommended and only about 5 minutes drive away. We’d definitely recommend Scott and Kelly’s place for a stay in Poole.
