Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Freeport

The area is very quiet and peaceful. The home was very clean and cozy. Jason is a wonderful host and very responsive. We definitely plan on staying again when in the area.

We stayed for a weekend to attend family wedding (3 adults). At the last possible moment we had to bring our pet due to boarding cancellation so I appreciated that George was accommodating with last minute request. The house was clean and spacious: our college kid had her own room upstairs, had space for wedding items, living room to stretch, space for work items too. Having a fenced yard for our small dog was also a plus. Having said that I agree with other recent reviews about maintenance: downstairs bathroom, outside pergola, front door.

Home was as described, host was responsive & very informative. I will be recommending to others in the future.

Great stay in great neighborhood. Lots of space for our family while we visited for a family wedding. Didn’t go to the beach but it is an easy walk to the sand and surf.

Great place to stay near Surfside Beach. The home was clean and has two storeys to stay. The home was clean with all the necessary amenties.There is also a bunk bed in one of the bedrooms which our kids enjoyed. The beach is a short walk but you have to cross the main road. There is also public beach access for cars in Freeport which is a short distance. The host Amanda is very responsive.We had an issue with the coffee maker during our stay and Amanda replaced it with a new one right away! Would highly recommend staying here.

Loved our stay at the beach house. It was in a great location and the outside was decorated with several beautiful lights for the holiday season which also made it easy to find when coming in at night. Lots of great amenities on the property: swings, tick tac toe, hammock and bbq pit and more. The wind was pretty cold (expected for this time of year and proximity to the water) but we were still able to bundle up and enjoy time outdoors at the property also.

We’ve stayed at many locations from ABB. This place had unmatched hospitality, toiletries, and conveniences. We have a house in the same neighborhood but when it was full needed a place to go. The fishing was awesome right of the back canal. The fenced dog run made the stay very accommodating to our French Bulldogs. 10/10 review from us. We will definitely be back. The owners are very relaxed and just made it easy to enjoy. Best holiday ever!!

LOVED our stay. Affordable and very close to the beach and several restaurants. Although the unit is right in the backyard of the host, it was still very private and peaceful. Unfortunately, we did not use the hot tub due to it being too cool and windy the day we wanted to use it, but we will be back and will surely use it next time. Pam was so friendly and very responsive. Check in was easy although the gate lock did confuse me a bit at first. When I asked Pam for help, she was quick to respond and gave clear instructions. I loved being greeted by Pepe the cat every day, and occasionally Pam let her dogs out to use the restroom and they were sweet and friendly as well. Thank you for a lovely stay, I can't wait until next time!

Loved this space for my husband and I and dog! Exactly as pictured. Walking distance to many things. Mac-ies smashburgers was so good and Mama Teresas Flying Pizza was great as well! Checkout was TASK-LESS and I dont think enough renters offer that as an option so kudos to the renters!! Would DEF be back to the property!! Thanks so much!!

Great stay. Spacious, great for kids and convenient for embarking on a cruise. The proximity to restaurants and the port was great and the hotel amenities are nice.

I stayed here four years ago and have missed it ever since. I saw a chance to go back and grabbed it, and it was just as great as I remembered. I got into town a little early and Karlsen responded right away that an early check-in was fine. The old place has so much character and anything is easily walkable.

Perfect for families with children! My 2 daughters and I loved this beach house, and are already planning our next trip. We were able to walk right across the street to the beach, and the room is located right next to the heated pool! Christiana was very accommodating and put a lot of time and effort into making this a special place to stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

I will most definitely book with Mary again! And I love East Beach and Islander East. Great location. Off the beaten path. Quiet and peaceful. Staff very kind and professional. If you are on the fence about booking, don’t be!! You’ll only be disappointed if you don’t!

Would stay again. Positives - clear and timely check in/out instructions, clean, covered parking, washer/dryer in unit, plenty of kitchen wares. Great location just outside of Galveston with direct beach access and a decent pool area.

I loved how close it was to the beach. We walked a lot but was perfect because everything was walking distance. There is also a heated pool in the apartment complex 10/10 since the weather was a little cool.

Me and the family had a great stay while we were down for cheer competition. It was a very clean and nice place and right next to the sea wall which the kids loved. We will definitely be going back
