Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fredericksburg

We have stayed at this property twice and have really enjoyed it each time. It’s well laid out, clean, and feels like a loved home and not a quick turn rental. The location on the lake is great and being waterfront is so much fun!

Our stay at Joe’s Farm was perfect! The property is peaceful, charming, and surrounded by nature. The kids loved seeing the free-range chickens. The home itself is beautifully decorated with a rustic farmhouse feel, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. I hosted a small family gathering with relatives from out of town, and the accommodations could not have been better. The space was more than comfortable enough for 5 adults and 3 children, well-equipped, and perfect for spending quality time together. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedrooms were cozy, and the outdoor space was wonderful for relaxing and making memories. Joe was fantastic—friendly, extremely responsive, and ensured we had everything we needed for a seamless stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil, picturesque getaway with top-notch accommodations, this is the place!

David and his wife Natalie went above and beyond in preparation for our stay. We hosted our wedding on the property and David was eager to help make the days leading up to the wedding weekend go smoothly and stress-free. Both home are beautiful, the pool and hot tubs are fun and relaxing, and the property is peaceful and private. All of our guests enjoyed themselves at the wedding and their stay on the property.

Emma was a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful, incredibly clean and peaceful. The house was nicely stocked which made us feel right at home and she even decorated for the holidays! Thanks for a great stay.

Very nice and comfortable accommodation has everything to make it enjoy as at home very recommended and very communicative hosts for any questions or queries were always very willing to solve problems and a Very quiet neighborhood

This perfect for us and our two dogs. The host went beyond most places we had stayed at like having dogs bowls and treats, coffees and espresso machines, snow shovel and salt for the snow that came thru when we was there. This place looked better in person the furniture and decor was well thought out and the kitchen had updated appliances. The backyard for the dogs was great, there was generous amount of sitting from the deck to the ground floor. We really had a great stay

We had a lovely stay! Such a convenient location - metro and quick bites nearby made this apartment feel even more homey. Harrison was so responsive and helpful! Would definitely recommend.

Our family including 2 dogs stayed at Irene's place in January. We needed to escape for a few nights. Since it was the off season at Lake Anna, it was very quiet and peaceful which is what we were hoping for. We had dinner at Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse which is open all year. Dinner and drinks were also amazing!

Another delightful stay with Bo and Gillian. Perfect hosts; kind, helpful and responsive. Bo and their 2 kids helped us bring our stuff from the car to the apartment the snowy night we arrived! I love the art and decor so much. Bed is super comfortable. We slept very well. Our granddaughter enjoyed her time with us there too. We will be back. Highly recommend this special place. We have enjoyed getting to know Bo and Gillian. Thanks so much!!

Lily’s apartment worked out great for 2 couples. And the view towards the mall was nice! Lily was very proactive in contacting me and made for an easy check in. Our only complaint would be the kitchen could have used a few more amenities such as a couple more wine glasses and some sharper knives as we had a few snacks in the evening. But we really appreciated having coffee and fixings, laundry and dish soap, paper towels, etc, at our disposal! Otherwise the apartment was very nice, location was perfect, and Lily was a great host!

Jen’s place is perfect for an escape from the public, while close enough to Shenandoah and Charlottesville and Culpeper for adventures. She was extremely attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. Would recommend to anyone.

Hudson’s place exceeded our expectations. Quick two day trip to DC with family who’ve never been. Easy to find. On street parking pass. The apartment was well appointed. Everyone had their own space. Easy walk to delicious and diverse dining options. The walk to the metro was 10-15 minutes. Hudson was an excellent host. We plan on returning!

I totally felt relaxed yet easily able to walk anywhere I wanted at the same time despite a rainy weekend

Anju's place was perfect and made me think there really is nothing wrong with living in my parents' basement if this is what it's like! Everything was wonderful!

John's place is perfect. It is very quiet and clean. He was responsive and very friendly. The home has all the necessary cooking supplies. I would stay again

Everything was clean and well-maintained. Jordan was an excellent host and provided great recommendations for breweries and wineries in the area. The check-in process was very easy, and we felt welcomed right away. The cabin is in fantastic condition, making it a perfect spot for a getaway – very peaceful and relaxing. Even though the space was small, we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Highly recommend!

Words cannot express how I feel about Mrs. Tori & her property. GREAT beautiful location, beautiful house to accomidate my family and my dog!! I definitely recommend for anyone that wants to spend time with peace and quiet and woods/outdoor nature. A lot of activities in the surronding areas, and inside the property. Everyone of us had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. The house had all the amenties everything that you can ask for (I.E. Wifi, cable, washing machine, etc.) Believe me you will not be disappointed!!

We had an excellent time at the Pond View yurt! The property was very well maintained with a spectacular view, clean and modern amenities (hot water + bath tub), and a fully equipped kitchen. We had no trouble entering the private building, and were impressed by the clean lines of the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. In the morning we made a camp fire with freshly ground coffee overlooking the mist shrouded mountain. Douglas provided clear and concise instructions and was very responsive and proactive. We are already making plans for our next visit - this time with another couple. One of the best places we’ve found - 10/10!

Buck's Run was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah. It was a peaceful getaway for my friends and we enjoyed lounging about playing board games, reading, soaking in the hot tub, and staring out into the woods as the snow fell. Jen was very proactive in making sure we were going to be ok with the incoming storm and Pete their local manager was very responsive with questions we had.

The cabin was secluded and cozy. The hosts included many thoughtful amenities. I also appreciated how close it was to the Shenandoah Park entrance.

Alison’s place was amazing and magical. It was peaceful and the firepit was great. We loved the coziness and the location. It was near wineries that had amazing wine. We enjoyed our time all throughout.

A great place to be a peace with nature and close to things. hiking tails and wineries within a few miles! but plenty of reason to not leave the 5 acres with plenty of spots to relax along the river and swimming hole. my dogs lived their best life and so did I.
