Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Franklin County

Highly recommend Tammy and Scott’s place for a peaceful escape. It was nestled in a very quiet neighborhood and provided the perfect amount of privacy. Food, shopping, and entertainment are a short drive away, but you really won’t want to leave! :) Tammy reached out before check-in and was easily accessible during our stay. The rental looks exactly like the pictures provided and was very clean. I hope to visit again this summer.

The cabin was super cute and comfortable! It was perfect for our family of 8. We enjoyed the games and made s’mores in the outside fireplace. The older kids loved having the basement space to do their own thing sometimes. The area is beautiful as well with lots of hiking and waterfalls, and cute little towns for shopping. Only minor issue was a lack of pantry/food storage. We had to get a little creative and not shop for the whole week at once. If you use a plastic storage tub for some of your packing it would help double as food storage during the stay.

We always enjoy staying at Ellen’s place. She is the kindest host and communication is top-notch. The space is extremely clean and comfortable. We have everything we need to cook meals and feel right at home. The new pool deck was almost complete during our visit and is a wonderful upgrade. We look forward to returning!

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

Such a tranquil location. Enjoyed the view from every room in our cottage. Backyard pond with geese, bedroom- horses, miniature horses and buffalo, kitchen camels, zebra, Antelope and water buffaloes. The farm dogs are so sweet. Michelle's sister and brother-in-law stopped working for a bit and gave us some insights on the animals as we walked on the road. A friend and I stayed for a girls' trip to watch Gather25, the global church prayer/worship service that lasted 25 hours. The tv was perfect, we were able to live stream from our phones onto the tv. I loved that they donate from the proceeds of everyone's stay to help rescue animals in a nearby shelter. 100% recommend.

Enjoyed our stay in a quiet and clean space. Appreciated host responsiveness- any issue was resolved immediately. Would love to stay here again!

Me and 7 of my friends stayed at Brians beautifull lake house. We are all internationall students, but we all felt like we were home while we stayed. Brian was not only communicative and nice, he was ready to help all time and made us feel very welcome while we stayed. There is not much to say about the house rather than how beautifull, spacious, and clean it is. I can guarantee that there is no other place that can be rented in the radius of atleast 100 miles, that is more worth for the money you give. Once again, thank you Brian for letting us stay, and we will for sure look forward to stay again.

A great place with fantastic views. Everything we needed was available in the house and the rec room was fantastic for the kids and grandkids. Coffee in the morning on the porch watching the sun rise and the mist on the lake was magical.

Great place to stay near Clemson. Easy access on first floor. 15 yard walk from parking spot to front door. Place was clean. We will definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying here & we love it. It’s super convenient and close to town. It’s spacious and nice! We look forward to our next Athens trip here!

My husband likes to explore and we couldn't have chosen a better spot for his birthday. We had plans to drive around to various nearby waterfalls (we made it to a couple) but the mill offered so much to discover, we didn't want to leave. We loved the waterfalls, history, and trails around the site. The bed was super comfy. It's definitely quirky, we were glad to not have a TV, etc. Groceries were close by as well as parks.

Al & Tara were friendly and responsive from booking to check out. The place is a nice size. Everything was spotless and the bed was cozy. The only thing they may have said in their description and maybe I missed it but there isn’t a kitchen sink in the kitchenette area. This was fine with us because we were visiting our son at Clemson and didn’t spend much meal time in the apartment. We highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful location. The place was very quaint, peaceful and a lovely place for a weekend together! We will definitely stay in the future.

My son and I stayed for the last Clemson game of the season. It was about 20 minutes to Memorial Stadium so a nice location. Check-in was easy and we felt very comfortable and at home. Having the little kitchen was so nice as well since I had to make sangria for the tailgate the next day and was also able to store a few things in the large fridge. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Great spot. Just what I needed for work and proximity to Pendleton and Clemson for things to do. Was simple, clean and comfortable, and nice and quiet. I would definitely consider staying there again.

Judy was very welcoming once we arrived. She gave us a mini tour and it was a perfect place to unwind and relax. Very peaceful and a ton of space for us. We felt at home away from home. She is very responsive with any questions you might have especially with finding the air bnb because it is secluded ( we love that) I highly recommend staying here! Very affordable too!

We just returned from a weekend celebration in Clemson for our son's 21st bday. We had extended family travelng with us to celebrate and see the Clemson vs Duke Men's basketball game. It was a fun weekend and Jessica's condo was the perfect location and setup for our family/friends group of 6. Jessica was very helpful with all my questions even when I got locked out of my AirBnB account by accident. We loved the four bedrooms/baths and the common area and how close it was to campus. Her instructions were clear and she is very responsive. Although we never cooked, she had a perfect setup in the kitchen. I highly recommend and we will definitley rent again from her next year. By the way Clemson beat Duke so that was a great finale to our fabulous weekend. Weather was awesome too. There is a nice BBQ truck just around the corner that we got takeout lunch one day which was really good tht we recommend too. Thanks Jessica! Go Tigers!

Caden was very helpful with instructions. His place is very clean and all of the bedrooms have a bathrooms. It is close to Clemson University and to other restaurants and stores. Safe environment and quiet. Nice location would stay there again

We had a great stay visiting our son and going to a Clemson game. The condo was a perfect location and fit our group perfectly.
