Cottage vacation rentals in Franconia Notch

We had a great stay for a ski weekend to go to both Wildcat and Attitash mountain. Both were only about 20 minutes away. The hot tub was great to come back to and the space was very cozy.

This was a great spot! Perfect for a night's stay. I have no complaints at all.

Great B&b we enjoyed our stay. Loved the hot tub everything went well. It’s in the deep of New Hampshire so make sure you do your shopping and buy food before heading there. Everything is pretty far from the b&b but it was super helpful that they left a book with places.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations, offering everything we could possibly need and more. The space was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and stocked with thoughtful touches that made our stay incredibly comfortable. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in a peaceful and scenic area that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. From the cozy amenities to the host's exceptional attention to detail, this place truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Milan’s place is a great value! How wonderful to find a place where a family of 10 can gather WITH pets! Room to spread out for movies, a game of pool or hot tubbing. It’s a space for lots of people…and lots of people mean lots of wear and tear. Even with that reality, Milan’s home reflects thoughtful care and consideration for groups who want comfortable together time. SO convenient to many White Mountain area attractions. We would definitely return and we thank you for a perfect space to make happy memories!!

The place had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay.

You cannot beat this view! From almost every window in the house, there’s a beautiful mountain looking back at you. Cozy cabin in a quiet neighborhood, a short drive from downtown. Chris was a friendly and responsive host. He hand delivered extra wood for us to keep the wood stove going all weekend and just went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed to have a comfortable stay. A big hot tub was waiting for us to enjoy (although we chickened out as it was about 9° and the wind was gusting at about 50 mph!) Thank you Chris!

What a wonderful stay we had at Burke Mountain! Our son was racing there so we made a family weekend of it. Terrilyn was super communicative and provided clear instructions from booking through checkout. The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for my husband, myself and our three children and our dog. The place was very well maintained and clean for a rental that allows pets, complete with cleaning pads for pups paws and towels for drying after being outside. It was so nice to not have a TV and instead sit by the fire, listening to music while our boys really enjoyed playing with the legos there as part of the games/entertainment. We loved being so close to the mountain. It was the perfect weekend stay for our introduction to Burke—we will be back!

Toy’s house is the perfect place to stay. It felt like home, family vacations and so cozy with comfy couches, warm blankets and a fireplace to curl up in front of. Toy provided every bit of information we needed and responded quickly when we had a question. The house is very well stocked with everything we needed to relax and there isso much to see and enjoy in the area. We will absolutely stay there again.

It is a perfect base for outdoor activities in the whites. The cottage has a nice, cozy living room and kitchen where you can hang out and cook. There are two bedrooms upstairs where you can comfortably sleep. We had a great time staying there for a week, going ice climbing and hiking in the area!

This was the perfect spot for our trip up to NH, and little did I know it would turn into our engagement trip! Susan was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions and responding to questions promptly. We’ll definitely be back! The yard was secure and ideal for our 7-month-old puppy to play in. We also enjoyed taking walks around the area! Susan went above and beyond by leaving a bottle of wine in the fridge, turning on the lights for us, and ensuring the cabin was spotless. It was truly the perfect place for our stay!

Peaceful home base for our Northeast Kingdom Ski Adventure. Quick drive into East Burke and close to all the great activities the NEK has to offer. The hosts were very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. It was a bitter cold few days but the home was warm and upon arrival, the pellet stove was a perfect warm welcome.

Great view and cabin was actually clean. Peaceful week on the lake. The area was fun. Found the alpaca farm open in the weekend close by and got to feed them. Picked the best apples we've ever had at Libbys U Pik not far from cabin. Shopped at the Limerick market and found Shaines of Maine icecream. Tried Black Rasberry and Grapenut yummy on both. They had lots of other specialty items. Fried chicken was great too. Also shopped close by at the Ye Old Sale Shop and found some wonderful vintage treasures. Had a great time at the cabin and surrounding area. Would totally come back this summer to get on the lake in the kayaks when its warmer and have another great week. The porch is the ultimate lake porch. The cats and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed the lake view all week Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

My friends and I stayed for a long weekend and the property was gorgeous and the house was clean and inviting! We are already talking about coming back in the summer!

Such a cute space! We will definitely be back to visit in the warmer months but we still had a blast walking around in the snow and taking in all of the views! Only downfall is that the dishes and silverware were not very clean and still had food stuck to them :(. Nothing a quick wash didn’t fix though!

Dan and Jane have a beautiful home. They were extremely kind and I can’t thank them enough for allowing me and the kids to meet their horses. It is a wonderful property on a serene landscape. The pictures don’t do it justice. We will certainly be back.

Dianne’s place was just right for my small family of three! The place was clean and well kept and had all the amenities one could need and even more than we expected. There was some construction going on at the house next door, which was a bit disappointing, but just a reminder that the house is in a community and not to expect complete silence at all times. Dianne was very responsive and kind, and all in all we had a very lovely time.

Great stay at Alyson’s place. So nice to have access to the amenities at Eastman - we took the little ones sledding! Nice to have kids toys and books on hand too. House was perfect for what we needed and we’re thinking of coming back in the summer!

Great cabin in a great location. The area was very quiet and peaceful, a great place to spend a week of relaxation. We'd definitely stay here again!

Barbara's place is perfect for what we needed right in New Hampton. She was a very accommodating host, the place was perfectly clean and well apportioned. We loved it and will be back.

Had a great stay at the Blue Camp. Excellent location, wood stove was awesome, and kitchen was perfect to cook in. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again!

Lazy bear cottage was the perfect location for a ski weekend getaway. House had everything our family of 4 +dog needed. Waking up to the view of Bear Peak in front and Saco river in the back makes this a desirable NH vacation location. The hosts were proactive in reaching out and provided suggestions for restaurants and activities, along with a sweet history of the property the cottage resides upon.
