Isleview at Pine Chalets , near Inverness

Morag was a great host. She always responded to my messages quickly and helped with any queries we had. The chalet was nice and uncluttered but had everything we needed. The BBQ hut was a really special occasion too! We would definitely stay again.

Ben Nevis & Highland Mountain View Chalet No.2

CamillaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We loved staying in Nic and Lindsay's lodge. We had planned to hike up Ben Nevis and the lodge was a a very good location for this. The view from the loving room was stunning and it was a very comfortable space for the three of us. Everywhere was clean and tidy and there was a tray of goodies on our arrival. We would really recommend this accommodation.

Loch Ness Hideaways - Silver Birch Chalet

DanielRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was the second time we've stayed with Janet. The chalet is cozy and in beautiful surroundings. Remote but not a challenge to get to it's perfect for anyone who wants to get away from civilisation but is not the serious hiking and camping type (though it would still be perfect for those as well). There are plenty of great walks in the area, and Fort Augustus and Inverness aren't far away either. And after a hard day's wall the chalet is great to come back to

The chalet had a beautiful view and was so closely located to the centre of Aviemore. The facilities were excellent, from the kitchen facilities to the shower, bedrooms and sitting room. We absolutely loved the wood burner. On our excursions we met lovely locals and visitors like ourselves. A great weekend

Grianain - Riverside Lodge with Mountain Views

WilliamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to other travellers. This property really does offer a lot compared to others in the surrounding area and is good value for money. Our party was only 4 family members (3 humans and a dog) but the lodge can easily accommodate 6 (and a pet). The living area is bright and spacious with fantastic views out and we found the accommodation was perfect for our needs. The property is off grid and has great green credentials as power is supplied via 3 renewable energy sources. (hydro/Ground source heat pump and new solar photovoltaic panels The lodge is situated about 4.5m along a private road which funs alongside Glen Loy so I would say that having a car is pretty much a necessity. We will fondly remember passing through flocks of sheep along the route. There are a few nice walks to summits that can be made directly from the lodge so it good base to explore and see Glen Loy from. Highly recommended

Ardlogie Holiday Home & Ski Chalet, Aviemore

DawnRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We’ve stayed at the holiday park many times but this was our first time in this cottage. It was comfortable and homely. The kitchen is well equipped and we appreciated the kids cutlery, cups and plates, also the welcome hamper. The bedrooms are small as in all of these cabins, but in this one we were impressed at the amount of storage available. The 2 toilets were a helpful bonus. We had some problems getting tv reception, particularly during bad weather, there is free wifi but it’s not very strong. The park itself is in a beautiful location and there’s just so much to do around this area. A great family holiday, we’ll be back!

Delightful rural retreat in central Scotland

JuliaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
lovely clean chalet in beautiful surroundings. Beds comfortable with crisp white sheets on a decent mattress topper. We were blessed with beautiful weather one couldn't beat sitting out on the patio admiring the view and wildlife. Plenty to do so close to Edinburgh, Loch Leven with the castle/prison on the island but book the ferry beforehand to avoid disappointment. Rumbling Bridge/ gorge is a must. Sadly no cafe in Crook of Devon but Powmill Milk Bar is great for brunch/lunch and Kinross has some great restaurants. Will definitely try and go again.

Ardcreran

TrishaRating, 5 stars29 months ago
Karen’s Airbnb was modern, spotless, stylish and literally the most well-provisioned AirBnb I have ever stayed at. Dyson hairdryers in both main suites, every kitchen appliance you could imagine (why of course there’s an ice cream maker!) and then some you didn’t know existed like a hot chocolate maker as well. She was so kind and helpful despite our last-minute reservation in mid-week November happening at the same time as some significant personal events as well. Wonderful, kind, stylish host with a beautiful first class house.
A hot tub is positioned on a terrace overlooking calm waters and distant mountains. Two glasses of red wine rest on the edge. The serene landscape is enhanced by clear skies and gentle reflections on the water's surface.

Rope

LesleyRating, 5 stars26 months ago
my review: What a gorgeous lodge. We went up as a family of 6 and 2 dogs. Seil Lodge is beautifully decorated and so clean! Plenty of space, all appliances worked really well, wi-fi was great (fast), shower was amazing (especially after a 12 hour drive up). We were greeted with a warm lodge- heating on. Dogs were greeted with water bowls, treats and blankets (so impressed, extra effort to make it dog friendly, it’s so lovely). Jim and Pauline were great at responding to all questions we had. They had some great recommendations with where to go and what to do. I honestly can’t recommend Jim and Pauline enough. So many little touches that made it feel like home from home. We had such a lovely family experience, lots of happy memories were made. We hope to come back again soon.

We had a lovely stay at the Boathouse. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. George & Victoria were very friendly & gave lots of recommendations for local walks, places to eat & things to do. We loved walking up the hill, seeing the cows & walking on & around the shore. Victoria also told us about the wildlife to look out for. The Boathouse had everything we needed, very comfortable bed & sofa. We would definitely come back.

The Shieling At Old Pier House

What a wonderful stay, the cottage was perfectly situated on Loch Ness with amazing views. It was warm, (very important in February!) cozy & comfortable with everything we needed. Osh was so friendly and helpful - and we saw an otter, which was fabulous. Gold star for the accommodation and location.
