Vacation rentals in Fort Bayard

One of the best AirBnb’s we have stayed in! Worked perfectly for our family and dog—there was even a dog door. Our favorite was the back patio where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and the hot tub at night. Doug replied quickly and answered all our questions. Can’t say enough good things about the host and this place!

The posted description accurately describes the Carrage House Cottage (CHC). The first thing we experienced was the spaciouness of the cottage and uncluttered furnishings. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare full and light meals. The CHC is located high on a hill between downtown and the college. There is ample off-street parking and the neighborhood seems secure and is quiet for peaceful sleep. We recommend taking a flashlight with you if you walk downtown (about 0.3 miles) at night. Being on a hill the walk downtown includes sidewalk steps that are sometimes not uniform and difficult to see. Outstanding hiking trails are nearby and the CHC provides a comfortable place to rest after exploring the Gila Forest. Dogs are welcome! We will ask to return later this year to continue our exploration of the area. Thank you.

Sandra and Peter are great hosts. They are very welcoming and helpful. The guest house was amazing and great for pups! They take the time to show you around the Airbnb and answer any questions. Would recommend this place! The views are immaculate and a great place to get away for a weekend.

We enjoyed our stay Beds were comfortable, Very clean. They were very responsive. Close to downtown. Would stay there again.

Rachel's rental house is thoroughly and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials a guest might need. She is environmentally conscious as the products provided for use are organic and chemical free or friendly. The entire house is immaculate and furnished very comfortably. There are many spices and other pantry items for use in cooking. The morning sun shines in the kitchen and outside is a bird bath visited by a variety of feathered friends. Mule deer "dance" in the street at dusk. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Hiking at Boston Hill is very close. We highly recommend Rachel's place and hope to return.

This could not have been more perfect. It was beautiful, exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. There were many special touches such as snacks, coffee and tea bar, books and games , and other things to make our stay feel extra nice.

Super sweet small casita in the private peaceful area of pinos altos. We loved this lil town and staying here was a treat. The hosts were friendly and we had a great stay. The one thing to note if you have a dog: there is a small fenced in yard but it’s off to the side of the front door- so you have to go outside to let your dog in/out of the enclosed area.
