Beautiful, comfortable, clean. The house was perfect for our visit and needs. Host is very responsive and the place is immaculate. We were in town for a funeral so did not spend a lot of time at the place. However, it was nice to have a calm, quiet space for my brothers, mother and I to sit and reminisce many sweet memories. I had not seen one brother for several years! It seems like the place is very popular. I am new to Air bnb but loved this stay.

The posted description accurately describes the Carrage House Cottage (CHC). The first thing we experienced was the spaciouness of the cottage and uncluttered furnishings. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare full and light meals. The CHC is located high on a hill between downtown and the college. There is ample off-street parking and the neighborhood seems secure and is quiet for peaceful sleep. We recommend taking a flashlight with you if you walk downtown (about 0.3 miles) at night. Being on a hill the walk downtown includes sidewalk steps that are sometimes not uniform and difficult to see. Outstanding hiking trails are nearby and the CHC provides a comfortable place to rest after exploring the Gila Forest. Dogs are welcome! We will ask to return later this year to continue our exploration of the area. Thank you.

Sandra’s place deserves the high ratings. It is peaceful with beautiful scenery. Plenty of birds to watch. Hiking right from the door. She leaves fresh homemade bread and other items to get you started. It is a slice of heaven.

Our three-generation family occupied both Gatehouse and Bunkhouse dwellings, where we enjoyed Christmas cheer and feasting. Our thoughtful hosts made our stay uber-comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens, comfy bedding, good hot showers, great spaces to gather--everything as described. But most memorable and utterly out of the ordinary was Alex's guided tour of the quarters still remaining on the storied historic L.C. Ranch. Some buildings dating to the early 1800s, with furnishings lovingly assembled over decades by the family of the current stewards (and much left in place from previous centuries), made for a great place to unwind and explore the astonishing surroundings. Gila Cliff Dwellings and Catwalk, like this precious time capsule, are not to be missed!

Great place! Super clean with comfy beds and nice linens. Cozy but laid out well and very livable. Close to downtown but on a quiet street. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

this is such a beautiful place and a very clean house! With so many amenities! Rachel makes sure that all of your needs are met and has thought about all of the details that are important to have available for traveling families! So pleased with this place and plan to continue to rent it for our family in the future!

The cottage was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The location was very convenient - close to downtown and hiking trails in the Boston Hills. The neighborhood was very quiet. We didn't use any of the kitchen amenities, but the cupboards looked well-stocked with coffee and spices for cooking. Lots of extra blankets and towels. We only were in town one night, but would choose the place again if we return! Our only issue was getting in - the lock bolt jams, and it took several tries to get the door to open.

We felt at home, not stressed about “being in someone else’s home” & had all my questions answered when asked. Definitely coming back.

Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful environment, gorgeous views, a peaceful place for recharging! Delightful and welcoming, not to mention a great book collection in the Raven Suite. My wife, son, and I stayed in Suite 1 for two nights this past weekend. The charm of a historic home, combined with walkability restaurants and galleries made for a fun stay. Would recommend highly.

Very nice space in a lovely secluded setting. Well-equipped kitchen. Communication was excellent. we hope to return soon. Be sure to try the Buckhorn Saloon in Pinos Altos for good food in a nice atmosphere with lots of history! We really enjoyed it!
